I so wish that we could give less than one on the review. Complete lack of service. And when I said complete I mean nobody would help me couldn’t place the order was told they were too busy and to go away this place should be close down by the corporate office. Today’s date is December 3, 2015 the time is 4 o’clock that staff should be fired

I went to Del Taco in Camarillo, CA last night around 7:30pm with a friend. I’m writing this review to let people know that the customer service we received was completely unacceptable. Usually, I’ll drive through at Del Taco, but we decided to eat in on this occasion. We ordered our food and found a seat in a booth. The booth was a 4 seat booth(2 seats in each side of he table) and the seat I was in was double sided(seats faced into the booth behind as well). When our number was called, I went to side out of the booth and the whole seat tilted and crashed to the ground with a thud and me in it. As I sat in the ground, my friend was trying to access if I was okay and one employee was staring right at me on the ground. I got up and and went to the counter to get the food and tell them what happened(which they saw). Quickly, one staff member put a note that said«broken seat» on the booth. My friend and I moved to another table. Still in shock by the fall, I just sat in another chair. My friend grew angry that the staff was still doing nothing. They did come to check on me at all. She asked them if they were going to anything and all three people working claimed they saw nothing and said«what can we do about it?». It was extremely rude. There is no reason the booth should fail like that with one normal sized person sitting it. We asked for the manager, as this is a safety issue and now a customer service issue. They staff didn’t seem to know who the manager was when we asked, but they did provide a number to the corporate headquarters. So To Whom it May Concern at Del Taco Management this is unacceptable, I am extremely sore from falling due to the failure of the booth in your Camarillo restaurant, your staff was inconsiderate during an incident where an «are you okay, is there anything we can do?» would have gone along way. Please train your employees properly. Also, a safety incident report should have been filed and no one did anything. I will be calling corporate to report this as well.

I’m giving it 2 stars because… well, I’m probably still going to eat here, it’s just most of the employees are complete idiots. And that is saying something considering I’ve run through all of them. The only one smart is Julie. She is the main reason I’ll continue to go here. To elaborate, I only eat one thing here — the regular tacos($ 0.69/ea) at a quantity of 8 each time. I know, it’s weird. But it’s consistent and easy to remember. Anyway, I started doing the receipt surveys to get the $ 1.00 off, and they were only taking the cost of 1 taco off instead. I called them out on it, and they claimed it was right… So I contacted corporate and haven’t heard a peep back. That assures the degradation of a business model for sure. Anyway, then the next visit, I got Julie… She told me that her dumbass coworkers were definitely doing it wrong. I just stopped by again for lunch to test if they’d get it right, LOOKING at the previous receipt showing a full dollar off… No such luck. Got a girl and the on-shift manager claiming that maybe the $ 1.00 off was taking off the cost of 2 tacos or some bullcrap?!? Yeah… Sure… And she tried to convince me that my receipt was in the bag… No. Just no. Such a shame that here minimum wage can’t even figure out how to enter ring codes/coupon codes correctly. On another note, most of the time, the tacos are consistently, and well made(filled all the way, not stale shells). Semi-generous with the sauce packets if asked. I DON’T go inside anymore. Every visit — well over 100 — has been drive-thru only. 8 tacos @ $ 0.69 = 5.52(with survey code, $ 4.86 after tax) Don’t mess with the math.

To the guy who tried to start a fight with the technician servicing the establishment today: did you enjoy your meeting with the county sheriffs? That individual was simply checking a piece of equipment and you went Charles Bronson because you didn’t have a clear path to the ice machine. Did moms forget to change your diapers today? Go eat at WalMart. They don’t serve your kind here, son.

I was very disappointed in the service given. I ordered two items without sour cream and cheese. Asked as they gave me it to confirm the order was correct before leaving on my 22 minute drive back. Only to sit down with my bubbling 10oz of soda served with my food infested with cheese and cream. Now of course I called to inform the employee of their upsetting mistake. I was reassured that I would be given replacements and along with a gift for the 22 minute drive. As I’m on my way eager to receive my correct order the incompetent employee suggested I be given nachos that consist of chips, sour cream, cheese, meat, and salsa. The very thing I had returned to be made without. I will recommend starving than to service this restaurant. It will save you a lot of stress.

On this visit our drive through order was incorrect. With toddlers no time to go back. My 3 tacos all were filled maybe a quarter way. I ate mostly the shell of all 3 tacos. Very unpleasant meal experience. Location is in nice overall shopping area and has a clean atmosphere all around.

For fast food it is what it is but … the caramel cheesecake bites are to die for! The chicken soft tacos with ranch are yummy. So is the quesadilla!

If you are Caucasian. Don’t expect to be served promptly. My brother waited for almost half an hour for his order. He went to one of the kids there, and he just said sorry. Of course this group of Mexicans, sitting by us. Were eating their food, and they ordered after my brother did. He finally saw the«manager». Another kid. My brother wanted his money back. He never received his meal. The«manager» said he would put the money back on my brother’s card. However, he never apologized. So, if you are white. Don’t bother going there.

Terrible customer service with a very young staff running the show. Every time I eat there I feel gross. The food is never hot and always tastes bland. It’s a shame cause I do like Del Taco. And it’s the only one open 24 hours. I have tried to overlook the young employess and get past the taste of the food but what makes it even worse if they always seem to forget something in my order! One time I checked the order noticed they forgot a soft taco. Went right back through drive through and told a young girl who looked hispanic about there mistake and she asked if I had the recipte !!! ?? Wtf no I told her. U also forgot that as well. Managent take notice !! Your reviwes are not good. And Neither is your employees your hiring.

I was expecting the food to be gross but it was about a hundred times grosser than I expected. The quality was not even remotely close to good food. The wait in the drive through. It averaged about five minutes per car including mine. I ordered two things. For low quality fast good, this is unacceptable. Even worse, the food was assembled so poorly. The quesadilla I ordered oozes burning hot cheese all over my hand as soon as it was removed from the package and the burrito I got was rolled so badly that a third of the toppings spilled all over my lap upon opening.

Came here on Tuesday night for their Taco Tuesday. I was literally the only person in line and all the workers, probably 4 employees were concentrating on the drive thru orders. It took me 15 minutes to get my food. Food was good, but I won’t be going back!

They charged me 40 cents extra for a drop of ranch in a tiny cup. I am not happy. Will not go here again. I usually spend 15 dollars on every taco run here… you can keep your 40 cents I will go somewhere else.

GROSS! Bathroom is disgusting. My cheese or should I say grease quesadilla was tortilla and non cooked cheese. No one had gloves on. And the drive through person who handles money was handling food again with no gloves.

The food at this location isn’t bad. But the wait times for the drive thru and inside are ridiculously slow/long. I’m typing this review in the drive thru line that I’ve already been sitting in for 15 min. Don’t get in the drive thru when you’re hungry! There’s no escape once you order!

Del Taco is one of the last fast food establishments that have followed in the decline in customer service and decent quality food. The last few visits have been disappointing, and after today’s experience I’m definitely going to think twice about coming here…
