Denny’s

Me and my family thought the service was great! The food was good and i would definately go back. The servers are better now and the cooks are fast. They have new employers there so i think thats what made the experience better than from the other reviews ive read.

Ate here felt like a million bucks until a few hours later when all of a sudden… It happened the great decision to order the grand slam became my worst nightmare as I hellishly pushed, heaved and, gunted my way out of that monster poo.

Very expensive for an OK breakfast, service was pretty bad (they forgot EVERYTHING, even-​though I was the only customer that morning). Don’t waste your time and $.

I have frequented this Denny’s for the better part of 10 years now and I have seen it go through ups and downs but never to the negative degree in which other reviewers have described.
Every time I have visited this Denny’s I am met with friendly staff who seat me promptly and take my drink order and give me ample time to figure out what I would like to order for food.
The restaurant is quite clean and tables are cleared and cleaned promptly during normal dining hours. Since this is a 24 hour establishment, and the only one in Canby, the graveyard servers can sometimes get hit with a load of teens or bar-​hoppers and get backed up.
Food is good quality and what you would expect from a franchised restaurant. The burgers are exceptional though. Patties are made fresh (not frozen) and are juicy and flavorful. Get the seasoned fries, and the normal ones can be bland, but I am picky about my fries.
This Denny’s is unique as it has a sports bar attached to it. I don’t visit it very often, but it is a great place to catch a Seahawks game and share a couple beers with friends. You can also order drinks from the bar in the restaurant as well.

Just came out and had to write this review. This was thee worst experience I’ve had at a Dennys and I’m 52. The service was awful. No one came to take our plates, ask if we needed to go boxes, the waitress brought the wrong dessert. They weren’t even busy so most of the cook staff were sitting around talking loudly right by our table. The guy started vacuuming next to us while we were eating. It was terrible. Never saw a manager to do anything about their loud, lazy staff. Find another Dennys… please.

Horrible service. I had to ask twice to get our table clean because it was dirty and sticky. The floors were dirty would wipe down tables and set the next customer without cleaning the floors. The waitresses did not seem like they knew what they were doing constantly wiping their nose and wiping their hands on their pants. There seemed to be nobody in charge nobody directing anything customers constantly waiting to be seated and constantly waiting for drinks. The restrooms were also dirty. The waitress who mainly helped us wasn’t even in uniform and look like she had street clothes on. A older gentleman came from around the back of the kitchen walked in front of the dining area as he was looking at people waiting to be seated and left the restaurant poor management. I would most definitely not recommend this place to anybody.

Denny’s has really turn their menu around, the food selection and quality is great, lots of fresh and good choices. This location need to work on service. I sat and read my book for 45 minutes not once my coffee or water was refilled. What is worse the place was empty, and servers walked by several times and look at my empty glass and cup on the edge of the table and simple ignored it, even when they had a pot of coffee on their hands. I will have to consider driving to the one in willsonville the service there has been great every time.

This review is for the Dennys in Canby Oregon well what do you know its just a Denny’s everytime we go there they cannot get the order right in the kitchen I’m at the service staff they are pretty good but it’s the kitchen help they been there for a long time and they think they’re smarter than the customer the owner he doesn’t care he’s got 4 franchises and makes money out of the bars dealt with him and his son they just don’t care the orders 50 percent of the time they don’t get in right I don’t come out right and there is absolutely no discount if they get it wrong pardon me we have gotten 1 20% discount from one to the manager’s one time however this Dennys is across the street from our house and we enjoy the 2−4−6−8 menu thank you

I do not believe the owner knows what he is doing, him or the manager. My family had to sit and listen to employees who were off the clock complain about waiting on their checks. The manager or owner kept apologizing and saying he would call get it to them tomorrow. For 30 minutes we listened to constant complaining. Finally our food came and it was cold, bland, and a little gross. My daughter who loves corn dogs didn’t even eat more than one, my husband who loves hamburgers got sick shortly after, and my chicken fingers were unbearable. The service was bad, employees were frustrated, and the food was terrible.

The food isn’t terrible, but not that great either. Servers seem really stressed. ⁴⁄₅ orders in our group were wrong, which I think may be a result of the stressed servers unable to focus.
The place isn’t super clean. Holes in the seat cushions and such.

I love Denny’s, but this has to be the worst one! Dirty, the wait to order our drinks and food was 15 min. We almost walked out. And when our food did come, it wasn’t what we ordered. I recommend driving up the raid to the next Denny’s.

I grew up in California and there are Denny’s everywhere. I’ve been to a lot of them. Standard Denny’s menu. This one is different because it has a bar. The bar was actually packed with the working class Canby locals when I went on a Saturday night. I was just amazed that the Denny’s had a bar so I had to go.

This place is poorly run. (Canby location) I cant stand this place. I refuse to eat there anymore. The managment is lousy. The staff is lousy. They are rude. I am tired of going in there and they would rather hover around the counter area in front of the kitchen and chit chat amongst themselves, then care to seat me. This place is a TOTAL JOKE!!!

I go there for the sports bar and football TV. The people are great, friendly and service is outstanding. They do need newer chairs, but you sure can’t beat the drink specials and appetizer menu. Outstanding.

Service was friendly and efficient. Sadly, the place was pretty dirty and the ran out of spaghetti for the kids meals. Wouldn’t return. Didn’t have high expectations anyway…

Its not the worst Denny’s I’ve ever been to. The food is crap but what else is new. Its always open no matter what drunken or hung over state you find yourself in, in the late pm, early am hours.
In fact, one of my favorite memories happened at this Denny’s. I was sitting with a table of friends, and as the waiter was taking the orders, one boy (the last to order) had really worked himself up into a «ready to order» state. So he says totally by accident «I’d like your bladder buster please». .. The real name was a Blender Buster… Hilarious. We couldn’t stop laughing the entire time, as our waiter annoyingly ignored us the rest of our meal. Hey… mistakes happen right. Im here ;)
