Sizzler

This Sizzler has come a long ways looks and tastes great for a quick eat! But… I had to ask for my server she picked up our ticket and went missing??? Then I had to ask for wings! But after all of this our server was on the spot and friendly. The fresh fruit salad OMG strawberries, blueberries, peaches, and mangos, with quinoa that was the best! I think it’s a new fruit salad for summer at Sizzler~

Walked in && the place smelled like a Public restroom! Not what you would like to smell as you walk into a restaurant. We had to leave because I am pregnant and my senses are heightened and I almost threw up. For the 2 mins that we stood there thinking if we wanted to stay or not every time the bathroom door was opened the smell got 100x worse! They need to fix this asap!!!

Awesome side salad was like a regular salad and lots of bacon loved it. Couldn’t even touch my real meal, because I was so full and satisfied

i love this sizzlers. I always order the buffet cause it has everything the newly revamped atmosphere is fun and lively just be expecting crappy service if you come when the place is crowded

So disappointed!
I had the cheese steak sandwich and fries. I don’t know what kind of meat I was served, but it could not have been beef. It was super gummy and under cooked. I swallowed whole most bites simply because I did not want to waste my money by not eating.
My husband chose the salad bar which was equally unsatisfying. The food was bland on the salad bar and the selection was worst than what you would find offered at a cheap café at a 2 star hotel.
To top it off there was absolutely no diversity in the workers at this location. The customers represented the wonderful melting pot we see in America — the old, the young, people of color and different faiths, whites, gays… you name it. But I was heart broken to see no diverse employees.
It would be nice to see this Sizzler’s get with the times and diversify its staff, and please add some taste to the food.

Went to lunch with my aunt and had a great time! Ordered the Steak and shrimp fettuccini and upgraded my steak from the 4 oz to the 6 oz. There was an option to get 8 or 14 oz but I didn’t need all of that. I also added the salad bar to my order.
Everything at the salad bar was fresh looking and tasting. They also have a salad station that adds premium ingredients and specialty dressings. Afterwards they toss it all up for you. I didn’t use the service but my aunt did and when I tasted her salad, it was delicious!
Customer service was excellent! The manager came by our table and asked us if everything is going ok and that’s not the first time that’s happened at this particular location. Makes me feel like they value their customers!

I hadn’t been to Sizzler in a hot minute! So when bae made the suggestion, I was in. I ordered the Steak with grilled shrimp and s bakes potato, plus the salad bar. Everything was delish! The, cheese bread was FIRE!!! Can’t wait to go back, I’m definitely saving room for desert next time. Quick service, good eats. Stop by!

I wanted to try this place after I saw the CNN Parts Unknown Anthony Bourdain show. I tried the salad bar which had so many options like several types of greens; toppings like corn, carrot, onion, blue cheese, etc.; with different dressings. They also offered soup (almondigas, clam chowder), tacos with meat sauce, chicken wings. The server gave us freshly toasted and buttered garlic bread which was alright.
It was a bit underwhelming. The salad was good but I will not make the effort to come back.

Worst service. You can’t enjoy dining here as you constantly need look around for a server to ask for napkins, bread.

I haven’t been to this Sizzler in awhile before they’ve remodeled. It looks great. I do like the layout, it’s a little different from the others and the staff are friendly.
The drink, sundae and finished salad station are a nice touch. I like the kid’s plastic spoon at the sundae station which change colors because of the coldness of the ice cream. It makes it fun for the kids and me too.

Review is mostly just for service. Our waitress was rude & obviously didn’t care to be at work. Horrible customer service. We had to repeatedly ask for things but in the end we just got up & got it ourselves because we would have waited all night. I don’t know if I would come back to this location.

The manager was very nice, the other staff were useless. It took over 15 minutes from when we were seated to get the beer we’d ordered. The two dinners were served over 15 minutes apart. We had to ask multiple times for cheese bread. Both our steaks were overcooked. Things have really gone down hill.

Compare to other Sizzlers this place is a 5. They have premium salad bar toppings you dont find at other locations. Their hot food options at the salad bar is limited, but they have enough to keep you interested. If you want a gourmet salad you can definitely make one here. Their menu items seem the same as other locations. The restaurant was clean, the service was prompt, and they had plenty of flat screen tvs.

The Manager here at Carson Sizzler today is awesome. He is wandering around taking care of little things that matter but sometimes go unattended. Sifting out the sunflower seeds feom the ceou5ons, handing out napikins etc.
Also they have a separate tended salad bar here with top sh3lf ingredients and will mix and toss it for you. Place also looks pretty clean for a super busy Sunday.

First time at this location. This is the best one !!! love it… Everything was exceptional!!!

Excellent customer service, Ada greeted us with great customer service and a very courteous attitude. I tried the trio and a draft beer, food didn’t fall behind expectations, it was actually pretty good! The garlic bread is a thing not to be missed. Salad bar has a pretty good selection! Great service and great food for a fraction of a steak house price!

Nice job remodeling the place everything is always fresh and clean. I love the NEW LOOK!

The food here is delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff is courteous and friendly. I will definitely keep coming back.

Came here twice. Had I written this review after the first time I would’ve given 4 – 5 stars. It was my first time back since the renovation. I liked the old menu better but what I ordered was good. Burger and salad bar. Good enough that we went a second time.
Never, ever, order the Santa Maria tri-​tip …or something like that… had the name Santa Maria in it. It was a special. I had to wipe the meat with a napkin to get the super salty seasoning off, and after that it was still so salty.
My boys ordered ribs and it was good, but that Santa Maria sure left me with a bad taste.

This is probably the worse Sizzler I’ve ever been to. Where do i start. Before i go into this review i would like to note, this particular location just reopened from renovations not too long ago (they still have the sign in front of restaurant that reads NOW OPEN). The restrooms were filthy. The salad bar was terrible. The wings from the salad bar were soooo cold and tasted like they been sitting all day. You could tell the tortilla chips were stale, they were soft with no crunch. The greens for the salad were very limp and so on and so forth (you get the picture). It saddens me that this location can’t seem to get it together. I would love to come back to my hometown and enjoy good ol Sizzler meal but, unfortunately, I probably will not be returning to this location again. P. S. They changed the salad bar chicken wings, not the same as before!

Renovated. Friendly staff. However, compared to other Sizzler’s I have been to, the offerings were limited. Where is the dried up spaghetti we love? Overall, did what I was suppose to do — refuel.

Tuesday 2pm not very busy. I’ve been to other sizzlers before so kinda already knew the routine. But this place was a little different. You order and pay for the food. If you pay with a credit card they ask for the tip ahead and hand you the cash before you’ve had anything.
Some places hand you a cup for your drink or the waitress/​waiter brings you the drinks. This place did neither and the girl who took our order didn’t mention anything. We had to get up and find the cups and drinks. Finally sat down to wait for the food and the waitress came dropped it off and that’s the last we saw of her. I didn’t like my plate at all and my boyfriend was also disappointed in his because we saw someone else order the same plate and it looked way better-​not overcooked like the one my boyfriend got.
Why do you write down a tip on the credit card and have no services! I had to get my own drinks and refills. I needed extra napkins and would have liked some more bread but the waitress was nowhere to be found. No service no tip! Might as well give me a number to pick up my own food!

This is in Long Beach is brand-​new great fast friendly service hot fresh food I recommend the Sizzler if you’re down to Long Beach area you won’t be disappointed with their food

Late review but I have to rant!
Hubby and I decided to come here since we didn’t want to go too far for dinner.
Short of staff = bad management.
Our waitress went on break and informed us that another would be serving us. After our food was served not one of the 4 waitresses came to check on us. I had ordered the unlimited shrimp and of purse wanted to order some more… well after waiting 40 minutes my hubby had to go up to one of the waitress to request for the shrimp. We wanted to take it home but then she says we can’t take our left over shrimp… WTH!!! I was furious and told her it wouldn’t have been an issue had they not ignored us. We just left… full bellies but upset.
I have seen this happen other times and I guess it was our turn to be neglected.

This newly renovated Sizzler in Carson Ca has surpassed my expectations. I walked in expecting the old Sizzler but I walked into a totally new Sizzler. The service is great, the food has improved and most all the salad bar is worthy of a five star restaurant. The salad bar is buffet style but you can have it hand toast it at the Toss Station and add the dressing of your choice. Bravo, Sizzler. Love what you have done to the place.
