Word is Krystal is the souths answer to White Castle. Not even close…
White castle is just a touch smaller and simpler, sliders have this burger patty on a bun, pickle and onion. That is it. Krystals buns are bigger and sweeter, plus they put the ketchup and mustard on it. Fries are better at Krystals, shoestring type as opposed to White Castles crinkle fries.
Overall, edge to White Castle. I find the sweet tasting buns and the breadiness a bit of a turn off.

If you have heard of White Castle then Krystal is much like the same in terms of size of burger. But word is Krystal came way before White Castle. We had the burgers and fries and I picked up a banana pudding shake. Unlike most places the shake came in a plastic cup instead of paper which kept the shake fairly cold. The banana pudding shake contained Nilla wafers too! It was super thick and very tasty. The burger and fries tasted decent and the food came out pretty fast. This location was kept clean and the staff was very courteous and friendly.
