I am not a regular Unilocal reviewer but my last dining experience struck a chord. We don’t have the highest expectations going to Denny’s, but ATLEAST check your bread for MOLD. I understand accidents happen, but when a customer points something like that out maybe offer to take it off the bill first before trying to convince them they are grill marks –_– we thought it was a convenient stop for a meal, but this experience was enough to make sure we would never go back.

Just ate here and tried to use a gift card. Wasn’t able to use it because apparently they’re computer system is «old». Did their POS system come out before gift cards and electronic payments were invented? Didn’t even offer some sort of discount or even bother to ask management. Waitress looked over to another who heard what was going on and just shook her head«no». Service was terrible too, I’d advise anyone to skip this spot even if you’re passing through Santa Clarita.

11 am Tuesday. Definitely one of the better Denny’s breakfasts we’ve had. Perfectly cooked eggs in a basket and Leticia was wonderfully attentive.

Food was good. The cooks at this Denny’s know what they are doing. Service was not that great. Drink refills were slacking and it took a while to get our food. Go down the street to Tommie’s if you are looking for a great breakfast.

This just happened. Our family of six walked in and a cashier told my 19 year old to sit in a booth. We did. The manager was mad dogging us and making negative comments to some other server! Then, I nicely approached him to ask for menus because we had been sitting for a while-being ignored. Instead of giving me menus. He accuses us of sitting without being escorted and still doesn’t acknowledge us nor give us menus!!! Our server was awesome, her name is Asusena The male manager«Lalo» with the pony tail is not cut out to be in charge! Additionally, as our server is taking our order, he interrupts her to leave and take someone else’s order! Thank goodness, she does have customer service, professionalism, and stayed to take our order. I’m going to the district manager with this! Date 12÷25÷15 at 3:05 pm. Our female server was awesome, hope higher management reads this.

I ordered moon. Over My hammy breakfast. I was under impressed. The ham that is used on the sandwich is thinly sliced ham which retains water and when cooked and placed on the sourdough bread made the sourdough a bit wet. Also the cook doesn’t butter grill the bread so the bread is dry. The eggs tasted bland but were moist. The hashbrowns were good. Had a slice of pumpkin pie for $ 2. It was ok. The coffee as usual was very good,. The waiter was very pleasant. Wouldn’t order the Moon Over my Hammy ever again. BIGMISTAKE on choice of entrée. Modern clean restaurant. Big jukebox played Christmas songs which added a nice touch.

Went to Denny’s for breakfast this morning Worst service I had at any Denny’s waitress was slow had to ask for silverware food was cold I will never go back to this location again… Be aware poor service and it wasn’t busy at all

Terrible service there was hardly any people in there and it took an hour to get our food and they forgot some peoples orders also they forgot the pancakes to the lumberjack meal it was just an all around terrible experience couldn’t even get our drinks refilled without waiting 20 minutes and they would get an attitude when we finally would get fed up and asking for a refill

So I have to say not the best Dennys I have been to. So safe to say I’m never coming back here. I love Dennys. I love the feeling of the diner. I got the classic burger menu price is 6.99 but i guess they do it as a BYOB now so it was 9.29. The waitress didn’t even inform me not a big deal but If I would of known I would of actually built my own burger. I come in and the waitress/host did greet me. I sat down waited a while till she came by asked for water it was disgusting tasted like old faucet water I could taste the metal or wherever that water came from. Finally got my food it sucked cause the burger was falling apart. Waitress never came by to ask if i was okay she would just look at me and I guess the«manager» who was there was just walking back and forth behind the counter he acknowledged me but didn’t even bother to check on his customers. I didn’t bother leaving a tip. The food came out fast and the place was clean but service sucked. The only one that actually made me feel welcomed was the lady who was cleaning at the time. smh.

worst dennys in scv. Coffee tasted like dish soap, No cheese inside omelete and staff was uncaring and unhelpful. Waited a while for food and waitress didnt come back the check. While waiting for the check, i was looking at the manager who was just stanging there and obviously saw us waiting and did not help us. He had a rude demenor and my table left with a upsetting experience.

Most Denny’s are about the same when it comes to food quality and dining experience. This Denny’s was actually a bit nicer than most locations. The interior was nice clean. It looked like it recently underwent a renovation. The food wasn’t much different than other locations. The pancakes still had that cardboard taste to them and the eggs obviously were premade. I actually was impressed with the side of seasonal fruit. Usually, seasonal fruit means a small bowl of unripened melon and cantaloupe, but my side came with fresh grapes and banana slices. That is definitely different.

Rude waiter, slow service, under staffed, and burnt pancakes. Every 5 seconds he would come back to the table to tell us something we ordered isn’t available anymore and we had to get something else. Would recommend going to ihop or another Denny’s.

Management was completely incompetent, and the wait staff didn’t know what was going on. Plan to wait 40 mins for a burger and another 20 to pay and leave. Worst Denny’s I have ever been to.

Well renovated Denny’s! VERY friendly staff, except for the lady that helped us. She was friendly but I didn’t like that we were almost done eating and she quickly took away our empty plates and said goodnight. It was like she was trying to tell us to leave or something. I ordered the sirloin steak in medium well with two sides, broccoli and French fries. The steak was good but I think the medium well was more of a well done steak so you should order a medium. Other than that the food was great! My dad had the Alaskan Salmon which was also delicious. There are many old reviews that were made before this Denny’s was renovated so do your best to ignore those because everything has been renovated from the seats to the decorations! Eat up!

We were super desperate at 2 am. We had just finished a long day at Six Flags(Fright Fest). We went to the Denny’s in Valencia but there was a line out the door. After waiting 20 minutes we walked out because there were tons of empty tables and they had seated ANYBODY. We headed a couple miles north and tried this Denny’s. The manager was super friendly and sat us right away, warning us that there were a few people ahead of us and it might take a while. I’m not sure what he was talking about because our order was taken immediately and our food came out promptly. The food wasn’t anything special, but for what we were expecting it was good. There was a mistake with my order but our waiter took care of it right away. Super cheap and quick. Just what you want from a Denny’s.

My wife and I eat here at least once a week. Food is alway good and staff is helpful. Good late dinner!
