You know the old saying…“your first experience with pizza is how you define pizza for the rest of your life.” Well, same goes for tacos… and Jack in the Box was my very first taco back in the 70s. Growing up in D.C. at the time, we did not even have a Taco Bell… but we had Jack… and it was marvelous… and to a 7-year-olds tastebuds, a very exotic treat! Still tastes exactly the same today. Nothing quite like it… sadly(or perhaps gratefully, as they are sooooo greasy), no Jacks within a thousand miles of Maine. Nevertheless, this is my single favorite chain fast food item of all time. Great commercials too!

Horrible service, I sat down and waited 20 minutes and a waiter or waitress never came. When I went to the hostess to ask when I would be helped, the girl seemed very confused then asked me «what can I get you?» You never answer a question with a question, that is just rude. I stormed out. This encounter was beyond disgraceful. The two tacos for 99cents is a great deal though.

I used to go to Jack in the Box as a kid in the 70’s and always loved the tacos. Now that I’m MUCH older, the tacos are still my favorite. In fact, they’re all I ever order at Jack in the Box. I’m happy to haveJack in the Box back in my life. The only thing I miss are the old school generic ‘cold drink’ cups they used to serve their soda in.

I give very few one stars, but this place definitely deserves less. My daughter and I hit the drive-thru at 2:05p. We were second in line. When I say second, I mean there were only two cars total. We sat and waited for 2 minutes for our order to be taken, the speaker volume was so low I could barely hear the order taker, and then spent 7 minutes waiting at the window. Um, we ordered a cheeseburger, ketchup and cheese only, a double cheeseburger, ketchup and cheese only, not steak and lobster. No apology, just seemed like status quo to the staff. Both orders were wrong. Not just ketchup and cheese, but loaded. Not a huge deal, just took everything off. Ordered curly fries and our order was half regular, half curly. One of the burgers was upside down in its box. I’m not expecting folks from MIT, but holy hell, how hard is it to get an order right when there are only two cars in the drive-thru. Food was okay, but I will never return to this location.

MY friend picked up some for me. I’ve never had it before, but it took a long time. they were out of four or five different things, and the biscuit crumbled in my hand. Got crumbs everywhere.

Tried this JITB today as I was super hungry and remembered I haven’t been to Jack in ages. I’m giving them 2 stars just because the lady at the drive thru was really nice and helpful, even when I changed my order after I got there. So that was cool… However, the food was just awful. I mean, I know it’s fast food… its never great, but usually it’s warm and semi-edible. My Jumbo Jack was okay, a little luke warm with some hard lettuce in it, but whatever. But the chicken sandwich was just sad… it was hard as was the bread. I didn’t even touch the regular fries that came with it… they looked hard and cold and the curly fries were hard as well. Sadly, I won’t be back.

Our orders were correct and the experience was in line with the other Jack-in-the-Boxes I’ve visited. I’d stop by here again when needing a late-night meal on the road.

Never again. When this location first opened, I visited often for breakfast. I endured the long waits(not long lines… long waits) b/c their Grilled breakfast sandwich is delicious. But after getting increasingly worse service I told myself I wouldn’t go back. I let my guard down this morning. I was the only car in the drive thru line. I had to repeat my order twice and then tell the lady that it was incorrect on the screen. As I drove off, I took a sip of my drink. YUCK. They gave me some diet soda… not what I ordered. The lady repeated the order to me when she handed it to me and it was still wrong. Oh, and the tater tots sticks were ice cold. I am done with this place.

EVERYONE’S orders were WRONG!!! The people there, while really nice, are not apt to work at a fast food restaurant! I thought only my order came out wrong, but while waiting for the right burger to come out(which took over 10 minutes!) I saw that everyone else had a problem too! There were enough people working, but I just don’t know what the problem was. I don’t know if I will be back at this location again.
