McDonald’s

It is important to note that we never go to McDonald’s except once per month. Usually that is because we (my daughter and I) are in a hurry to get somewhere and we just want something quick and easy. So with that being said, this morning we had just that, a morning where we were rushing into a speech and debate meet and we needed something quick for my daughter.
Once greeted at the drive in, we were offered the «New Jalapeño White Cheddar McMuffin», sounded good to me. I did not see pricing for this anywhere, so I assumed that the sandwich might be a little more expensive than the regular sausage McMuffin. Never assume I guess… the sandwich was $ 4.99. I could not believe it. I went ahead and paid the ridiculous amount of $ 4.99 and thought to myself, «It is probably going to be a pretty good sandwich.»
I opened the sandwich and it was a regular sausage McMuffin with canned pickled Jalapenos poured all over the sandwich along with a processed slice of white cheddar (I did not expect anything different for the cheese). This was a very unfair deal and I felt like I got ripped off. It was a nasty sandwich and I don’t think we will go back to McDonald’s in Castle Rock again.
On a side note, the receipt gives a phone number of 877−799−2338 for comments. Try calling that number and you receive a disconnected phone recording. This place is a joke and I really wished I would have stopped to read the reviews like I usually do.
