I really enjoyed my experience here today. As soon as I got there, they asked if I wanted anything to drink and were very nice. I felt comfortable and welcomed. I was there because I got a horrible haircut the day before at a different salon, and I was hoping they could fix it. They consulted with me and were very realistic about what could be done. I was told exactly what they would do to my hair. I’m happy with my results and the customer service. I can’t wait to go back!

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I had a great day of pampering at this spa, Kaitlynn did a fantastic job on my haircut and gave me a hand and scalp massage plus a glass of wine. Christine gave me a one hour massage that was relaxing and I got to pick my oil scent, she made sure I was comfortable with the amount of pressure used and the massage rooms have great atmosphere. Sandy did a wonderful job on my pedicure and used some really nice exfoliating and moisturizing products giving me a foot and calf massage and the polish and top coat she used lasted forever. I can’t wait to go back for another relaxing day! Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

I recently visited Evolve to receive a hair cut and highlight. I reside in Philly, but am from the Lehigh Valley, which is where my family still is. My stylist that I had been seeing in Philly, moved, so I was on the look for a new one. I was in town for the weekend and figured I would try Evolve since I make frequent visits home, and I knew they had a great reputation and I’ve been to Evolve in the past for other services. I have blonde hair, and only need to highlight my hair a few times a year. About a year and a half ago, I had a bad experience with highlights when I received«zebra stripes». I like to have very fine, well blended highlights, and prefer a beachy-blonde/sunkissed look. I made sure to tell my stylist about this dilemma I had previously experienced, and that I was anxious to get my hair done. I felt very comfortable in her hands as she assured me I would receive no «zebra stripes». She gave me a fabulous cut and I left very happy. However, when I got home and pulled my hair behind my ears and really looked at my roots(which was the area that needed a touch up), I could see that I had about 4 thicker striped highlights — giving me some«zebra stripes». I called the salon Friday night, and they called me first thing Saturday morning and asked me to come in so they could correct it, which I was super thankful for. I know I’m very particular with how I want my hair done, but I still felt confident that they could fix the stripes. My stylist decided to put in more highlights, although I said I didn’t want to be any more blonde. However, this made my hair so much worse. It left my hair very, very blonde, flat, and one solid color in the front area. At this point, I was so frustrated and just wanted leave, and accepted how my hair looked. I was so disappointed because I loved my cut but hated my color, and what was supposed to be a correction, just made it worse. When I looked at my hair closer once I left, I further understood just how much I didn’t like what was done to it and felt hopeless. I ended up going to the salon my mother goes to later that day, and they were shocked at how the«correction» looked and that more highlights were added to my hair. They were able to fix it — to an extent — by giving me low lights and applying a toner. However, now I’m left with a darker hair color and with a somewhat odd tone/hue because of how they had to correct it. Furthermore, I’m out the money I spent having my hair done at Evolve, had to run around to get it «fixed» twice, and had to spend more money for my «fix» elsewhere so that I could feel comfortable about going out in public… and I’m still unhappy, all because of what had been done at Evolve. Now, I feel terrible about how my hair looks and will have to spend more money yet again to try to get my hair back to a sun-kissed blonde look that I desire and am comfortable with. As I mentioned, my cut was great and I really loved it. I would consider going back for a cut, but I’m extremely hesitant after my dilemma I went through this weekend. I’m just so disappointed since I figured that Evolve would be my new go to spot and well worth the trip home to the Lehigh Valley. Long story short, be extremely, extremely careful with coloring at Evolve. Additionally — I’ve reached out to Evolve twice now since Saturday night, and have yet to hear anything back from them. Bad customer service.

I have been going to Evolve for about a year and a half. I absolutely love my stylist, Dani! He is the best! I was in such a blah moment. I was a newer mom of 2 little kiddos, wore my hair back every day, and felt totally blah. I went to Evolve on a whim during my lunch break during the first week back to school. He made me feel beautiful again. Thank you, Dani! I didn’t even know a shorter bob would work for me. It does:) Every time I leave the salon, I feel great! It’s a little expensive, but worth feeling great. The entire experience is wonderful. The products are fantastic! I also love the warm, friendly welcome at the front desk when you enter the salon. About a month and a half ago, my son got a toy car stuck in my daughter’s hair, and Dani was able to fix my mess chop job. He is a hair genius! He fit me in during this hair crisis:) Thank you, Evolve!

FYI… they do not trim cuticles during manicure/pedicure and they do not tell you until you are in the chair! I was told it was Aveda policy not to cut cuticles… not true I called Aveda corporate turns out Aveda is just a partner not a franchise and does not regulate what their“partners” do … Anyway I could have pushed my own cuticles back at home and saved the money.

I highly recommend this salon and spa. They have outstanding customer service, and their employees are very talented. I am warmly greeted every time I walk through the door. I usually get facials with Elaine. She is soothing, welcoming, very kind, and I always leave with a glowing face and relaxed body. She will heat the bed for me if wanted, and massage my head, neck, arms, and feet as well. She also does some aromatherapy initially and let’s me pick what essential oil to use during the facial. After I leave, I feel like I had a whole body treatment! I always buy the $ 300.00 package for 6 massages or facials, which ends up coming out to $ 50.00 for a service. I believe they are usually $ 80.00 which can get pretty expensive. The nice thing is the package never expires. You can book online, which is great for me since I’m usually working night shift and don’t have time during the day to call due to sleep.

A great experience all around… the salon is relaxed, friendly & professional. Most importantly though my color is AMAZING! Katherine gave me the exact shade of highlights I had been thinking of, so natural!!! So many times I’ve had my highlights done & ended up super blonde, but she took the time to listen & gave me exactly what I wanted! The atmosphere here is great too… I was greeted right away by friendly staff, offered a drink & taken back almost immediately. I can’t wait go back & try the spa services! I’ll keep you posted.

I had a massage there on my birthday. I have had many massages prior and had high expectations. In addition it was my birthday which they knew. I booked a half hour massage and was only given a 22 minutes massage! It was extremely rushed and I did not arrive late, nor were there any other customers waiting. Extremely disappointing.

I went there to get a sports massage and the women who did it would not stop talking. I was there to relax and she wou deny stop talking about her daughter and how she had problems with her. I also went there to get my haircut and it was uneven. The man who also did my hair was very unprepared and used no product to protect my hair while blow drying and straightening my hair. I wouldn’t go back there again and I am very disappointed.

While Evolve isn’t my spa«home,» I do continue to bop in here from time to time. Good mani/pedi services and I had a massage there recently that wasn’t bad. I do love the feel of the massage/facial rooms… clean, comfortable & warm on a cold day! Especially now that I’ve relocated pretty close to this spa, I’m sure I’ll be there more often.

My hair stylist was Kelly. She was super sweet and took the time to listen to what I wanted(and what I had previously done on my hair). I’ll definitely be coming back to see her when my hair needs to be touched up. The salon itself is nice and clean too.

This is a wonderful place. Their staff and stylist are professional and friendly. The place is always very clean and comfortable. I have had many services done there such as hair cuts and color, waxing and manicures. Each time I am pleased with the results and get many compliments. I think this place is top notch and definitely worth trying.

If you need a great massage, this is the place to go! Really great service. I had my hair done here once. The cut was just okay, nothing special. Thought their hair service prices were too high.

I’ll give this a 3 even though an atrocious haircut put me in wigs for months… My husband was kind enough to book me an all day spa visit that was heavenly(and saving this review from being one star). The massage, the manicure and pedicure, the first haircut, everything about that visit was to die for. I could not wait to go back. I love the very modern and airy feel of the salon. I also love how clean everything is. Fast forward. I go back for another haircut. I’m booked with a girl who I’m told is a «senior stylist» over the phone. Not sure what that meant, but no problem. I trust a salon of this caliber to hire good stylists. I wanted a relatively trendy haircut, but nothing that should have been obscenely difficult even for a new stylist– especially because I brought in pictures of the front, both sides, and back of the cut. Half of my head got shaved. Literally, buzz cut. Not part of the pictures I brought in. Now, I’ve had some very interesting haircuts in the past. I’ve had the faux hawk, the pixie, the Victoria Beckham bob, the Rihanna cut, etc. It’s hair. It grows back. However, this particular«cut» had me tearing. I was offered free cuts to which I thought to myself, «Great, I can come back in a year when my hair grows back». I paid, left my tip(I’m not rude), and left. My sister in law’s baby shower was the next day. I drove through a snow storm to buy a wig in Easton before I went to the shower. I now, almost a year later, have a collection of 7 wigs, although my hair has finally grown to chin length. I’m really thinking that this«stylist» was a bad egg, and hope she’s gone. Eventually, I will go back to the spa for their wonderful spa treatments– I have NOTHING bad to say about that portion of the business. However, I think I’m going to go elsewhere for haircuts from now on. I just don’t have the guts to try again. Tip: The make-up there is über-expensive. I went there one recent Sunday(I was at a car meet with my friend at the shops and had forgotten my make-up) knowing that I could buy bronzer. $ 50 later(I didn’t ask before I purchased it, thinking it’d be $ 20-$ 25), I had bronzer. Be sure to ask how much the make-up is before you purchase it.

It has been far too long that I have not reviewed Evolve. I used to go to their former location at Urban Edge in Quakertown. The technicians here are always the best. They follow through with professionalism, fun, expertise and a job well done. I’ve had haircuts, facials, massages and reflexology. Each specialist was outstanding in their field. My only disappointment that some of the massage therapists I personally enjoyed so much are no longer there — the one was so energetic that I felt infused with energy for days. They also have a great package of 6 services for $ 300 which can’t be beat. The rooms are spacious, the mood in these rooms is just wonderfully relaxing. Even the bathroom is impressive and holds the mood.

Evolve does an outstanding job– they’re appointment setting/reminder system is pretty cool too in that it gives you a text message to confirm your appointment. The stylists are all outstanding. Gwen has done my wife’s hair and Amelia normally does mine. The team spirit and positive attitudes really sets Evolve apart. Some of the stylists even worked here since it was previously Urban Edge in Quakertown, PA. They have all the Aveda stuff too– very high quality. I always use the Men’s Grooming Clay. Can’t say enough good things.
