From the service to the flavor this place is 5 stars all the way! Everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Our waiter was so professional and everything was top notch. We ordered calamari which had a really nice marinara sauce and shrimp in garlic sauce to start. Both tasted really fresh and well seasoned. For an entrée I had the stuffed salmon. It was so good I stopped eating half way so that I had leftovers to enjoy the meal for a second time! Highly recommended!

I see many people leaving reviews talking about the steak having no flavor, As someone who grew up in an Argentinian household, the meat is never seasoned much, and you should taste the meat itself. If more flavor is what you’re looking for, that is why they provide ChimiChurri sauce. The steaks are cooked correctly to order, my last Entrania(Skirt Steak for you gringos), was served medium rare pink through and threw, and had nice all natural no steroids or antibiotics taste. The ChimiChurry was great. The potatoes served were also almost as good as mom makes. The Flan came homemade with a homemade Dulce De Leche. Only thing keeping this a 4 instead of a 5 is when the place packs in the service sometimes comes to a crawl where you can wait 10 – 15 minutes between courses before someone comes to you… Small gripe for such a great meal locally without having to drive to Corono or Jackson Heights for good Argentinian. As far as other Long Island Argentinian, I have tried several over the years, and Tango Argentina is better than anything Huntington has to offer.

Cute little place that I wanted to try since the place was packed all the time during weekends. Decent looking inside. The restaurant defiantly trys to be on the more upscale side but isn’t quiet there. Our first plate was the calamari appetizer which we thought would set the trend of how good it was with our main course but it was the complete opposite. The two main courses we ordered were skirt steak w/rice and chicken in mushroom sauce(basic chicken in an Ala vodka sauce w/mushrooms) w/rice, when both dishes came out although very simple it did look good most likely because of the size they do serve decently sized meals. I took one bite of my chicken and I’ve never been so disappointed on how tasteless it was. Some thing that looked so good and packed with flavor had none at all which seemed impossible I made my boyfriend try it as well and he agreed. His steak was bland as well. The only thing that had flavor on the table was the rice. We were so disappointed in our meals we didn’t order anything else. This restaurants prices are way to high for tasteless food, I would say I would like to try them again but it’s not worth spending $ 70 bucks for the same outcome of flavorless food

Living about 10 minutes away from this stablishment and noticing how busy it gets specially over the weekend, intrigued me to come here to see what is it all about. Came here on a Friday for my wife’s bday celebration along with our kids. The place smelled weird as if there were live cows inside. Came early evening since, we once drove off because we came at night and there was no room for another soul. Place gets crazily packed. Food was good, but it was lacking seasoning. I ordered for myself the all meat platter and my short ribs were nothing but fatty. Meat was a bit chewy and my fries were mostly burnt. Complained to the waitress about the ribs being nothing but fat and, she did not even acknowledge nor she mentioned anything to that regard. Our kids were done eating and we were still trying to enjoy our food when, this guy showed up to clean up our table and asking us if the left overs are going to be packed. Dude we are not even done here. My wife got the stuffed filet o sole and it was good. In my opinion food was decent and nothing to die for. That’s it, we gave it a try and don’t see ourselves coming back.

Went there with my wife, son, and his girlfriend. My son and I enjoyed the 22oz. Ribeye tremendously. The shrimp in garlic sauce wasn’t second rate to any for the appetizer. My wife had a chicken dish that was very moist and delicious. The service was exemplary. I definitely recommend the Tango Argentinian Steakhouse.

I love tango! They have the best empanadas. My favorite meal is the skirt steak. The chimchurri sauce is amazing. My husband loves the hot anti pasta platter which is a combo of fish, meats and calamari. Birthdays are always fun there because they bring out sparklers and champagne for everybody. The wait staff is great. Make sure you ask for the check because in European style, they won’t bring it until it’s asked for.

Great portions and super yummy empanadas. The chicken with lemon sauce was amazing!!! You must try this place if you haven’t done so already. The customer service was also super nice and very patient when we couldn’t decide what to eat. I will definitely return!

I have to admit that I was hesitant at first because it was a local restaurant. My husband and I decided to give the restaurant a try just to see how good it was. Thinking it was going to be your run of the mill Hispanic restaurant. I must say that it’s not. This place blew me and my husband away. Prices are reasonable considering the portions that are given to you. We had an appetizer two entrees sangria side salad cappuccino and dessert and paid 90 without tip. Service started off really good and as the restaurant started to get busy we saw less and less of our waiter, but the other waiters and busboys chipped in and got us everything we needed. Portions are insane you will take a doggie bag home for sure. Dress code is casual which is great. Décor is a mix of rustic Spanish look. I highly recommend this place. I also recommend you go for a early dinner around 5 ish because from 630 on up the restaurant gets packed.

6 of us arrived with 2 kids on Sunday around 4 and it was PACKED. We waited a good hour for our table. We split a bunch of items: bacon wrapped dates skirt steak filet mignon paella Sides: mash, fries, creamed spinach dessert: tiramisu, tortufo The bacon wrapped dates were unbelievable. A little sweet, a little savory. Some of the meats were overdone, but the ones that weren’t were really flavorful. The paella was a little too salty, but filled with seafood. The tiramisu was a little different, but really delicious. I also had a piña colada with was very strong. Very large portions so I would split things. Otherwise, expect a hefty doggy bag. All of this food cost with tax and tip, was around $ 240 which is a great deal. I’ll come back(with reservations!) next time.

My husband and I went to Tango on Tuesday night for a night without the kids. My thought process was that we wanted a good steak but without the $ 75 price tag. After reviewing some Unilocal reviews we headed over to Tango. Getting to Tango from where we live in Nassau County took about 35 minutes. The restaurant is located in a sketch neighborhood, homeless people to the left and industrial businesses to the right. Once there, we were greeted by the staff in a friendly manner. There was no wait for a Tuesday and judging from everyone else in there, no dress code. They immediately brought out the bread basket with the chimichurri sauce which was delicious. Next, we had the empanadas, delicious! Last I ordered the filet mignon in cream sauce with the crab cake and the shrimp and my husband ordered the meat for one platter. The Filet Mignon with cream sauce with shrimp and crab cake was excellent. My opinion is that the crab cake is lackluster and tastes too cornmealy. It was weird and lacked seasoning. The shrimp were fresh and were good but honestly the steak is the show stealer. Just order the steak plain. No cream sauce needed because the steak and chimichurri sauce is where the magic happens! The steak for one was a huge portion of various cuts of steak. If you like tougher and fattier cut steaks then this is for you. My husband ate most of it and enjoyed it but I know he wished he had the filet mignon. If you aren’t into grizzle, pass on the meat for one and get the filet mignon. Overall, excellent service, food and sangria!

Tango’s staff reminds me of my family. Sometimes they’re okay and other times you’re wondering who took the jelly out of their donut. It’s still nice to always see familiar faces, though. Amazing wine. Great appetizers. The Argentinian empanadas are an unusual and delicious treat. The shrimp in garlic sauce is to die for. Go on a Thursday night and experience all your Brentwood friends’ parents singing delightfully loud karaōke.

I had an amazing meal here at Tango over the weekend. While it was below zero degree wind chills outside we were getting our tummys filled with steak, steak and more steak thanks to the $ 42 Tango Special. Even with pictures on Unilocal I still was blown away by how much meat they serve in the plate that after the meal we still didn’t see the bottom of the plate. Even now 3 days afterwards I’m still having leftovers that’s just how much meat they serve in one single entrée… They didn’t have fancy sauces like you see at other steakhouses but really just grilled the meat to perfection, the chili sauce they provided doesn’t overwhelmed the taste and I liked how they have jalapeño peppers as well for those that likes it bit spicy. With the special it also comes with two sides and my favorite side was the creamed spinach, definitely very creamy and goes with the steak very well as it could be a little dry just eating meat after meat haha. The salad was generous with olives and olive oil so that the fragrance was really flavorful and the fries were the thicker cut steak fries that were done really well. For dessert we tried the Flan as unfortunately they ran out of chocolate ice cream cake. Flan was quite sweet indeed and with caramel on top its just about the sweetest dessert I’ve ever tasted so definitely for people with a sweet tooth. Service was excellent despite us sitting all the way in the back in a corner she still come to check up on us regularly to make sure everything is okay. The seating was a little cramped though but luckily the big table next to us finished pretty soon after we sat down so didn’t have any problems. Even better is that they have groupon deals going on right now. Normally the groupon restaurants I’ve been to were average at best but this place really outdone my expectations. Definitely one of the most memorable meal that I’ve had in a long time. When we were here parking lot was full though but still plenty of street parking by the road. If only I didn’t have to step out in the freezing cold to run into my car after the fulfilling meal…

We are big foodies so I always wanted to try argentine food, we found this cute cozy apot. Our waitress Andrea was fabulous. She gave us suggestions and they were great. We got the mixed plater for two and WOW. It was huge and delicious. This was the first time I ever tried blood sausage and let me tell you not bad at all. The sangria was amazing and tasted so fresh. This was a great experience with service and food all in one. Thank you Andrea…

Great little restaurant that serves up good sangria, steak and paella. The paella rice was perfectly cooked and the dish was spot on with flavor. The seafood was not a scanty portion. The steak was perfectly grilled to my liking and the chimichurri sauce was decent, but there’s no need for any sauce when it’s a nicely grilled piece of steak. Of course, the meal wouldn’t be complete without some good sangria. Overall, a very satisfying meal, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again!

I almost forgot to review Tango(sorry guys!! How could I have not done this yet!) I had my small intimate wedding dinner/reception here!!! I ate here with my husband the first time, when we first started dating. We always loved it. I am obsessed with the short ribs and their creamed spinach(which is homemade mmmm) Their empanadas are to die for and pretty much anything you order is delish.- Everybody said I had the best food they ever ate at a wedding-EVERYBODY. I am literally still hearing about it almost a year later. The staff was so very good to us and accommodated our kind of short notice wedding dinner thing(we got married fast and out of nowhere.hello. last minute chaos) but this part, was the part that went so smooth. Great place for parties for sure, great prices for great parties too.
