The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

I got a coconut milk latte and it tasted really weird. They also don’t have very good food options and there wasn’t enough seating space.

Great place to study. I only come here on Sunday mornings, so I wouldn’t know how it’s like on other days, but I come here here every Sunday and it’s consistently never crowded and quiet.
The usual customer base is older ladies and men. The music is soft. The employees are friendly. There’s free wifi and outlets near a couple tables.

A nice alternative to Starbucks. Their Ice Blended drinks are really good, and you can get them with reduced sugar and fat free milk if you wish.
They’ve also recently added a cookie mix in that adds a «cookies and cream» flavor to your cold blended drink.
Their food selection has always been lacking, but to be fair, I’ve had some horrible baked goods from Starbucks recently too. So maybe their focus on a smaller selection isn’t too bad.
It does irk me that their Keurig-​like line is called CBTL instead of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf…

Worst chia tea latte I have ever had. I was very disappointed, the latte tasted like water!

This coffee shop is wonderful, with such a wide variety of drinks and such friendly staff. I will be returning :)

Decent coffee, but only a so-​so vibe at this location. Used to enjoy more before the influx of indy coffee shops in the valley. Still worth popping in if you are in the area.

Stopped in here to get my usual… Black Forest.
The location is super easy to find and there is ample parking amongst other places of business.
This is a rather large location with ample seating inside and out.
On this trip I purchased 6 Black Forest’s and they were made fairly quickly. This drink (for those that don’t know) is made up of Coffee, coffee beans, chocolate and maraschino cherries. This drink is absolutely addicting. You can also add whipped cream to this drink to put it over the top. I highly recommend this drink in particular.
The employees were very friendly and accommodating to everyone in my group and certain dietary restrictions. I will definitely return to this location

I like the atmosphere and the staff are really nice. However, the food is obviously frozen or premade and tastes like melted plastic, plus the coffee sucks unless you are getting plain coffee no ice in which case it’s Okk. The tea is severely watered down and over steeped and the prices aren’t worth it for the quality that’s provided. With a better recipe book this place would be great. My reccomendation, come for the WiFi nothing else, besides water.

Stopped in with my friend who lives in Chandler on a double daddy/​daughter date. Really enjoyed a simple iced vanilla latte. There were plenty of seating options both indoor and outdoor, although it’s next to a busy road and shopping area so sitting outside isn’t necessarily a peaceful experience.
What I appreciated was that they had a few vegan options great for those with dairy or egg allergies (like my daughter). Thanks!

Starbucks who? Sorry, I will probably never go to a Starbucks again. Not after I tasted this place! Wish there was one closer to my home, 85 249. Anyways, such a friendly environment. Thanks for amazing coffee and tea.

The staff working here are insanely loud, chattering about random things like railroads and one of them made screaming noises in the back so loud that all the customers inside including me jumped. Another customer came in and one of the girls came out and the other employees followed like a group of girls running to the bathroom. Immediately after taking the customers order, that same screaming girl screamed some more as a joke but this time out on the floor so it sounded twice as loud. On top of that scream she was running as some rude joke she was trying to crack (regarding some inside joke about trains and railroads they were laughing about) and her footsteps of her running squeaked so loud during the scream! The whole time I sat drinking my coffee, I could barely hear the music because the three workers (2 girls and one boy) were chatting it up and laughing the most painfully loud laughs the whole time. This is the most unprofessional staff I have ever witnessed for a coffee shop. I have never witnessed screaming (even as a joke) and running in a restaurant by an employee let alone a coffee shop where I am trying to get some peace and quiet! They did make my drink right and did not take longer than normal surprisingly so they get a star for that. But I will not be returning until they turnover a new staff.

I’ve been a supporter and big fan of Coffee Bean for nearly 15 years. I prefer the coffee, service and ambiance to Starbucks any day, even though I am still a fan of Starbucks. Coffee Bean gives off the neighborhood coffee shop vibe. I visit regularly to do work since they offer free internet at all locations — definitely a great plus!
The coffee and tea drinks are great. My favorite is anything with the sugar free chocolate powder. This is where Coffee Bean has the advantage over Starbucks. You just can’t get any chocolate drinks at Starbucks that are sugar free. Since they have sugar free chocolate and vanilla powder, you can get most drinks and even ice blended drinks sugar free.

I love coming here on mornings before work. The atmosphere is so chill and inviting and the employees are always friendly. They can make basically any drink you want. I usually stick to something simple and sweet but I go with someone who is very picky and they never have a problem making exactly what she wants.

Wonderful coffee shop that I’m making my regular work spot. The music was calm, the staff friendly, the cup of joe made just right, the seating comfortable, the space well lit, and the wifi swift.

Service is awesome and their dark chocolate iced blended coffees are to DIE FOR! Way better than Starbucks

This is a new favorite place of mine. I love that you can have the chocolate covered espresso beans mixed in drinks! Their drinks also seem to be more of quality than most «known» coffee shops.

The hot vanilla is my favorite thing in the world!!! Mucho calories but bueno for a non-​coffee drinker like myself. :) Also, it is probably one of my favorite studying spots, especially with Einsteins next door. THE best.

When we are in town we always stop at one of these shops. My son loves their Iced Blended Drinks. I prefer a nice hot cup of coffee. My husband had a latte and a pastry. All were pretty good.
The parking lot was being repaved so it was a little harder to get into the shop but we managed. Oh for sure we will be back the next visit to town. I can’t quante it will be this one but we will be at one of the Coffee Bean and Tea Leafs.

Yesterday I stopped in for a drink after a long morning of Christmas shopping and wasn’t really sure what to order so I asked the barista for a recommendation (no one was behind me in line so I didn’t think it was a big deal). I can get my usual Americano or latte anywhere so I figured I’d try something different.
So I get my drink and sit down and not ten minutes later, the barista was complaining about me to one of her friends who stopped into the store (apparently that barista can’t stand when people don’t know what they want). I’ve only been to Coffee Bean a couple times since I’m from Minnesota and I’m still learning the menu. Sorry for bothering you! I promise it won’t happen again since I won’t be returning.

I drink simple brewed coffee, prefer dark, bold & rich. If a place doesn’t have something like this brewed, I might order an Americano. Therefore, I judge coffee places on their… COFFEE.
The Bean has GREAT brewed coffee. They are fantastic with samples of whatever they have brewed, and I find there coffees very smooth. They are actually the only place where I sometimes ordered the day’s flavored coffee; for some reason, their flavored actually tastes good to me with a little half and half, while most places taste like fake-​flavored coffee, overdone on the additive flavor.
The baristas ALWAYS offer to make a fresh pot of flavored if it’s past 11 and I’m interested in it. I think that’s amazing… but I can’t let them seemingly waste a whole new pot of it on me? If I ever have to wait for a new pot to brew, they are always amazingly nice about it, no matter what location I go to.
I like the living room feel of this location, the couch, comfy chairs, and big «conference» type table. I also like sitting outside if it’s not too hot; somehow I enjoy it out there, even though I’m looking at a parking lot & Chandler Blvd. Maybe the coffee is just that good to me…
I can run a card for that simple cup of coffee, which yes I have had to do before. They never give me any grief about it. Love the company, period!
