Wash your hands. She runs the register, then goes directly to the food cooking, pushing her glasses up and running her fingers through her hair. Never once went to the sink right in front of her. WASHYOURHANDS, WASHYOURHANDS. Next time I will not be silent.

I’m not impressed. My food was bland and fairly tasteless. I had the chow fun which is a rice noodle dish and the noodles were defiantly old and rubbery. My husband for the orange beef and was similarly unimpressed. Substandard American Chinese food. And they DONTDELIVER. Contrary to what it says on their Unilocal description. I’m tossing the menu and not ordering from here again.

I’m a frequenter of their lunch special: primarily the curry chicken and onion with hour and sour soup. The chicken is a little rubbery but their know how to make it hot and spicy and the onions are cooked very well. They have a great hot and sour soup if you get it just after they’ve heated it up. If it’s been sitting a while it’s quite disappointing. Other dishes I enjoy include their Seafood Delight and Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. Their Orange Chicken is quite good as well. I avoid their *** and Broccoli dishes as I found them quite underwhelming.

Cheap! Good for the price. I love their pork lo mein with soup lunch special fid $ 5. Close to my work and takes a few minutes to make. Typical American Chinese take out.

Pretty standard Chinese takeout. Lunch special during the week gets you a meat, rice, and a soup for around 5 bucks. Pork fried rice is good, but I’d pass on the hot & sour soup. I’ve had sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and General Tso’s chicken and they’ve all been fairly good.

I ordered twice-cooked pork and they tried to pass off roast pork as twice-cooked pork. They are two very different kinds of pork. The soup was lukewarm as well. There are plenty of better Chinese places around here.

Cheap fast food. I ordered the sesame chicken, which tasted bland. Their rice was bland as well. However, I did appreciate that they made everything from scratch after I ordered. At least the ingredients were fresh(except for their steamed vegetables, which tasted like a microwaved veggie pack).

In the world of chinese take out, I absolutely love this place. I first discovered this place during my undergraduate days at UNC-CH, and it was on the weekly rotation for the following 7 years or so until I moved away. After moving back to the area, it’s still just as good as I remember it. Even my wife loves this place. We’re more than willing to drive past many other closer Chinese take out places to go here. I’m sure there are places that are just as good, but we’re not willing to risk it when the Chinese take out craving calls. My wife loves the Sweet and Sour Chicken combination plate with plain fried rice and vegetable egg roll. I used to always get the Sesame chicken plate; however, now I get the chicken and shrimp plate. My wife is extremely picky with the quality of her chicken, and she’s gives this place the okay. Also, when I moved back after being away for 4 years, it was nice to see the same people still working there.

Very solid takeout. Given an extra star for cleanliness and price. Very affordable lunch specials. Rice is always very fresh along with everything else. Beef Lo Mein is also really good. Best takeout for the price imo around the area.

«New China may I help U?» «Meh» Chinese food in a pinch. I used to live right around the block.

New neighborhood, new search for Chinese takeout. I ordered my old standbys here — pork lo mein and a spring roll — and enjoyed both. One quirky thing I found was that the lo mein noodles are thinner than you usually find at other places. This is one of those things my husband noticed… and I just said«Mmm…noodles.» So — yeah, doesn’t make a big difference to me. His hot and sour soup also met with our approval, so I’m sure we’ll be back soon. The rest of the menu is pretty standard and comprehensive, although it does include a «slim, trim, and healthy» section, which I… will probably not utilize.
