This DD is a tiny little stall in the CTA station. Don’t miss it! Perfect for people on the go with quick service, everything you want in the menu, and no detour needed. I came on an off-time, so I bet it gets pretty busy on weekday mornings. I bet I will be getting my iced unsweetened tea and Boston cream here again in the future.

This place always has a huge line in the morning when I get to work. I would probably stop there to get stuff more often if the line wasn’t so bad. They take your order and then you are pushed to the side of the window until they call your name. There is not much room there to wait. The layout should be rethought and maybe open another register and hire more people if they have that much business. The 3 stars is for the deliciousness behind the register; 2 if you also consider the above.

The donuts are fresh and very tasty. Also, the place is always kept clean! And the coffee is wonderful. I found the employees to be very friendly and quick to fill the orders. This place is a donut paradise! I will continue to patronize this place. I loved it.

These people are very busy at the el stop but despite that they have a great service hot coffee and fresh donuts. This team of employees have their act together and always get their orders right!

As far as coffee shops in public transportation stops go, this is a decent one. It’s not open on weekends, which is a bummer, and there’s almost always at least a line, but the folks at the order window are efficient. My only frustration was that I tried to use the DD app once to get a discount on a drink, but their scanner wasn’t working. Probably(hopefully) just a one-time thing, though.

Dunkin Donuts in the El station is not an appealing combination for the mind: it superimposes images of startling amounts of pigeon crap(usually covering the El platform in winters) with coffee creamer. When I get off the El in the morning sometimes there are 30 people in line for coffee and I have to chuckle a little: don’t you have somewhere to go? Can’t you save the 300% markup and have coffee at home before you go? Doesn’t your office have coffee? Yet I now add myself to the list having tried it once on cold day where I just wanted something warm to go, and I was met by the efficient and cold protocol of this little machine shop: obviously I did not know how to order given the terse one word questions from the employee. The thing I really hate about DD is that they mix everything for you, no control over what goes in your coffee. It tasted ok but I don’t like being treated like mindless cattle.

Your standard Dunkin. It has a good proximity to school, which is why I’m always there. Lines can get long, as in any coffee place, in the mornings and afternoons. Service is standard, nothing exceptional. The staff basically just wants to fill orders as soon as possible, which is understandable in a train station shop/

3.5 stars I don’t know whats happening at this DD, but the line has been moving slower, the people have become less friendly, and I’m waiting for my order a lot longer. My DD visit used to take about 1 – 5 mins. Today, it took me 15 mins. In the past month or so, it’s been averaging about 10 – 12 mins. It would be really sad to see this DD continue this way.

Working nearby, I’ve been coming to this DD for nearly four years on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis. I have to say that the staff here are absolutely wonderful people who really get to know their regulars. In a world where good customer service is hard to find, this place blows me away regularly with their staff and kindness. Sure, there are the occasional hiccups(they’re a small location so tend to run out of donuts towards 11/12, and don’t have the variety that other stores do), but this is and will remain my go-to place. An oasis in a criminally under-commercialized medical district!

Donut holes, hot coffee, and most standard Dunky-D’s items right in the polk pink line terminal. Great location, but it does close early when neighboring UIC classes finish. Very convenient and generally quick is always a win.

Stopped here for a quick cup of joe. Should have kept going. I don’t know what it is about DD coffee but I’m not a fan. I don’t care what flavors you add and how much milk you pour into it, this is some nasty coffee. P.U.

First time here, I should be back. Ordered 2 ice coffees that wer.ok.I think I would need to go back to try again. Let me say this; it was my frist time getting an iced coffee from dunkin donuts, so I would need a second visit to try it out again. Staff was quick and friendly, small place too. Tactfully next to the pink line to get all the students and passerby getting on or off to buy a cup o’ joe. Open only on weekdays, no place to sit outside it(wasn’t meant to) However, across the street is a sitting area is quite nice and I am sure alot of their customers are from the medical center. I hear on the opposite side there is some seating as well. Wish I had my camera… will try to next time.

with so many DD’s to choose, why go here? because they are fast and the coffee is still made in glass coffee pots(which tastes better than coffee made in those huge metal cans they have in bigger DD locations) and more importantly, I love that it’s been pretty much the same staff for YEARS, and they are really good at their job. Most days, I just walk up and all I get asked is «1 or 2?»(meaning 1 coffee or 2, because sometimes I get a ride from my boyfriend and buy him a coffee), and they know exactly how to prepare them depending on what I say. All I do is hand over payment. I love that… it’s priceless to me so much so that I go out of my way to come to this locale.

This place is located in the Polk Pink Line Station and only opens on weekdays. It does not have its own sitting area, but the Sbarro/UIC next door provides an outside sitting area which people use. Base on my visits to about 5 locations of Dunkin Donuts around Chicago, service of this location is one of the faster ones during rush hour. People from nearby hospitals and research centers count on this location for their cup of Joe in the morning!
