Went at 9:00pm since it’s one of the only places open that late in the loop after I get out of night class. Went in there and they were blasting terrible rap music. And I Like rap! Didn’t greet me like they usually do at JJ’s. I ordered a #16 and they gave me a #11, which I didn’t find out later til I opened my sandwich after I left. 16 and 11 don’t even sound the same! I could tell they didn’t want to serve anyone. I’ll never go back there again.

I love coming here. I can call my order in and it is made before I am even there. I’m not sure why another review said they do not cut your sandwich upon request because they always do for me. I tell them a #17 with no tomatoes cut in half and it’s always been correct.

It’s Jimmy John’s. If you aren’t new to the world around here you’ve had this before. I really like their bread, which other say is strange. I enjoy it. I also like the different combos of sandwiches but wish I could customize a little more. This one wasn’t anything different. On the Sunday i first visited they were a little short staffed but it didn’t seem to slow down my order. All in all as is with most chains, it was a consistent product that gets the job done and is better than Subway.

#8 Billy Club, #10 Hunter’s Club and #15 Club Tuna are my favorites. JJ’s is one those places that is so hard to resists and this outlet does a great job of keeping my religious craving coming back for more. why 3 stars, for one they sometime screw up my order and the delivery service is never on time.

The food is good. But they occasionally screw up the order. The biggest problem is that their delivery take like 45 minutes. They say it will be 15 and they are a half hour late every time. Nobody who answers the phone cares.

Great marketing, better sandwiches. Try the Gargantuan and you will NOT be sorry. I would have given it four stars if they made hot sandwiches.

$ 4.69 for the #3(Totally Tuna) or the #6(Vegetarian). Tuna’s a little watery but very good, and I love the Veggie, even if their avocado ‘spread’ is barely noticeable. The bread is so fresh — and I am NOT a bread lover — and I love any sandwich with some sprouts thrown on.(Oh, to live in CA and be able to get avocado/sprout sandwiches regularly!) I’m just really confused as to why 1) they cannot cut the sandwich in half, even if you ask them to, and 2) they cannot put the sandwich in a bag for you, even if you say it’s to go.

I love Jimmy John’s. Except for this one. I just moved to an office next door to this location, and they absolutely suck. Of the four times I’ve eaten there, my order has been wrong every time. And today I even asked them to double check that it was right and it was STILL wrong! I think it’s because no one who works there speaks English. And the worst part is that every time I’ve been there I have been the only person in the place(1:30−2:00ish). From now on I am going to walk the few extra blocks to the new JJ’s on Adams & Clinton.

Fastest. Jimmy John’s. Ever. I walked in at lunchtime today to grab a #4(Turkey Tom), and while there are dividers set up to keep an organized line during the lunch rush, there was no line. The people here are so quick that one couldn’t form. If I hadn’t seen them make my sandwich, I would have assumed there was a big pile of pre-made sandwiches back there, because it was ready about .35 seconds after I finished paying. This Jimmy John’s has gotten more popular recently, so there’s usually a bit of a line. However, it’s a really fast line. I’ve run in here with only 4 minutes to grab a sammich and sprint to the office, and still made it to work on time. They’re generous with the sprouts, too. This makes me happy.

#6, hot peppers, with a pickle. actually, they just started charging extra for hot peppers. $.25. Jerks. either way, here’s my favorite lunch. sometimes i mix it up with an unwich instead.

Jimmy John’s is really fast. just like they claim. They also have tasty sandwiches. but I think the taste of the sandwich relies too heavily on mayo. I am trying to eat healthier. so I try not to eat here anymore. It’s just not figure friendly. I do like the Beach Club and Italian Night Club if I feel like having a mayo guilty pleasure. Oh. but one really good thing about them is that they offer day old bread for like 50 cents… or something cheap like that. You can’t beat that! Way cheaper than the grocery store.

A favorite of mine in college, that’s still hard for me to resist even now. Oh if I only took a tally of how many of my late night cram… er, study and review sessions were fueled by Jimmy John sandwiches. Names and numbers that I used to call out on such a regular basis: #2 Big John, #8 Billy Club, #10 Hunter’s Club, #15 Club Tuna. Thinking I could eat the white french bread forever, until I graduated to eating on wheat. JJ’s was the first sandwhich to let me realize I could eat sandwiches and not have their sloppy guts spill out the back like some cheap $ 2.99 sub of the day. Oh, where was I? Back to the review! Sandwich wise, you get a reasonable amount of food for what you pay for. As a Loop Lunch Location, you might want to look elsewhere depending on when you decide to eat lunch. Unlike some other places when you see a line here, don’t deceive yourself into thinking that it will move much faster. In a lot of cases, the line at this location may even move slower. If you pay attention while waiting in line, you will find out that the line would have been longer, except for the fact that most people that occasionally eat here, take a look at the line, and leave when it gets to a certain length. There is seating here, but due to the narrow footprint of the store, you may feel a bit claustrophobic if you sit in the back. Once again, this rating is more for taste, than LLL efficiency.
