Great food, great service. Roommates and I have been trying different Chinese restaurants throughout Chico & this one is definitely in the top two! You can tell the owner really puts his all into every dish! The dumplings are amazing

Had read about this place and wanted to give it a try. Super long wait for my order. Very chaotic. I doubt I’ll be back.

Today was my first time trying this place. I ordered the Mongolian beef combo & pork cabbage dumplings & it was SODELICIOUS! There was only one man working by himself(seating, serving, cooking & checking out customers.) & holy cow he did a fantastic job. I don’t know of anybody that could do all of that alone AND keep a smile on his face the entire time. The only reason why I give this place 4 stars & not 5 is b/c it needs some love with the appearance inside. Other than that, I will be returning & I highly recommend.

Very good honey walnut shrimp, definitely will go again! It was perfectly crunchy, my favorite in Chico!

Just checked this place out today, and oh snap folks, we have a winner! Huge servings, delicious food, very affordable prices, friendly service. Try the three delight dumplings, they were incredible. The green onion pancakes were also spot on. Definitely worth a visit.

Tried this place tonight. Overall the food was good. I was a little disappointed that my side of rice was a little overcooked and that when I ordered he told me it’d be ready in 15min but it actually took 35min. I was able to look past all that though because they made up for it with their cream cheese wontons and pork buns, they were very good!

I just ordered some to-go food and was impressed by most of it! Our order was the glazed walnut prawns(delish), pork buns(not impressed), spicy garlic chicken(not spicy at all) and the Singapore noodles(excellent! It’s like a chowmein with rice noodles and a light curry sauce). The food took a long time to pick up, about 15 minutes longer than we were told. He also didn’t give us any cookies or rice, which would be nice. Overall though, the noodles were good enough alone for me to order again!

First time eating here and I was very impressed. This place really doesn’t look like much at first glance but the food speaks for itself. We had the the chicken chow mein, hot garlic chicken, and broccoli shrimp. The noodles in the chow mein were favorable, the shrimp was cooked prefectly, and the hot garlic chicken was the best I’ve ever had. Everything had great flavor and everything was fresh. Only advice is call your order in. The wait is long but for great food it was so worth it.

I notice there’s a review of this place saying the food is too salty but quite honestly this is the best seasoned food I’ve ever eaten in chico. The homemade dumplings they make here are amazing. The amount of salt in the filling is perfect and the dough texture is soft and not too chewy. The actual restaurant is small and cozy. My boyfriend and I almost missed it walking by one evening but I’m so glad we noticed it and went in. There isn’t any good dumpling places in chico so we jumped at the chance to try an new place. The man working that evening was so nice and seemed to care about his food a lot. Dumplings aren’t the only thing on their menu. They have the standard Chinese food fare. They also have a soup menu I’ve yet to try. I greatly look forward to going back again to try more delicious food!

I’ve been waiting for a good place to get Chinese dumplings, Dim Sum, and noodle soups in town and I’m excited to say that my wait appears to finally be over! First and foremost the food was awesome and the service was exceptional. All of my food was well seasoned and appeared hand made. It can be hard to find quality food in Chico these days that isn’t just cookie cutter and bland. Many places focus more on ambiance and decorations to create a good experience but begin to lack in the good food department. My girlfriend and I luckily stumbled On this place while walking home and honestly could have missed it. It’s definitely a little difficult to see and could use a light for their sign outside. The inside is small, not cramped, but a little cluttered. We ordered out food to go but will definitely be dinning in on our next visit. All of these things are easy fixes and don’t diminish from the over all experience or from the most important parts, the food and the service. We ordered walnut honey chicken, pork buns, chive dumplings, and some vegetable buns. The owner told us that the vegetable buns might be to salty but we thought they were perfect. All of the dough seemed handmade and soft and the fillings were moist and flavorful while the walnut honey chicken was crispy and sweet exactly like it should be. This place isn’t fancy but it’s cozy, it has heart, and it’s definitely worth your time. Edit: We went back again and got some of the noodle soups which were both very hearty and tasty. We also tried a lotus dog and I’d highly recommend you get one!

2 stars, but I will go back again, after I write a letter to the cook asking for some changes, e.g., reduce the salt in the soup by at least –50%; serve the food hot and not cool-ishly warm; use pottery-based tea cups, not glasses with graduation hats on them; use porcelain or stoneware or china-ware; use way-less sugar on the orange chicken; play Chinese music rather than European classical. Note: charges –50 cents to use a credit card. One of the rare ‘rants open to 11:00pm week-days, 1:30am week-ends!

This is a fairly new restaurant that is just getting itself established. You might think on the face of it that this might be just a generic Chinese place. t’s not. The guys running this place are from North China and have a different take on Chinese cuisine. They are more oriented to noodles than they are to your typical Chinese rice based dishes. I tried the dumplings and they’re so so. Stick with the noodles.
