Today was my first time eating here. I came in with high expectations and it absolutely exceeded them! The meat was cooked to perfection and the cheese was warm and gooey. I wish I could have gotten a larger portion for the prices I payed, but nonetheless this place gained a frequent customer. I recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet!

None can compare! Perfect ratio of bread, meat, cheese and veggies. Not one time did we have poor quality food or bad service. Just as I write this review, Pavlov’s dog comes to mind. Uncontrollable salivation!

Hands down the best steak in Chico. They use Amoroso’s roll which are the ones used in Philly. Friendly staff and usually pretty quick getting the food out.

Great place. Having had cheesesteaks in Philadelphia and other parts of Pennsylvania, this place stands up nicely to any cheesesteak from back there. A lot of options. Tip: get the twister fries. Sooooo good

We were so excited to try out a restaurant that was dedicated to one of the best foods that man has ever created. Well, we couldn’t have been more disappointed. To be honest, Subway of all places, makes a better cheese steak.

I’m a local and this is one of my favorite places to eat in town. The staff is almost always spot on and the owner is nearly always there chatting up customers or making sure is staff is on point. The food is consistent and amazing — and I grew up near Philly so I know something about cheesesteaks.
Pro tip: If you’re looking to save a few calories, ask for your steak made with light oil so it’s not as greasy… and don’t forget to get a stamp card!

This place has great sandwiches and I love their curly fries. Food comes quick and the people are friendly. My only thing is no matter what, there is always at least one fly in there to bother me and the place could be cleaned up a little (dusty) besides that great place to get a good cheese steak sandwich!

Been making this a regular must do stop for years when i visit Chico… last week my to go order got mixed up. mistakes are human… Went in and got a do-​over with a smile. Not only are the sandwiches the best cheesesteak ever.(and I’ve been to philly. both pat and genos)

The best cheesesteaks this side of Philly. Seriously I just got back from Philly and these are authentic. I like the King of Philly with onions and hot and sweet peppers. Great service!

Best cheesesteak in town. Food is always been good. I get the mushroom and my girlfriend gets the garlic. I usually get the 15″ so I can have lunch the next day. It taste great even the next day! We call in to-​go orders often and its usually flawless except for the occasional overlook of ranch dip that we ask for… but not a big deal. Great job guys! Keep making great cheesesteaks!

This place makes a preety good cheesesteak sandwich. Good prices. Nice staff. Clean place. Not as great as my favorite cheesesteak place, Capriottis. But pretty dang good. I will eat here again for sure.

Honestly, go here! honestly, i’ve only had the king and garlic cheese steak but do i need a reason to get anything other than that? just those two keep me coming back. someday i will expand my «eaten» list but the king satisfies me more than enough

I saw mouth-​watering commercials and had to make the drive to Chico to try these sandwiches. I wasn’t as impressed as I had hoped. Unfortunately, most businesses over-​promise and under-​deliver. I use Unilocal*to find those businesses that under-​promise and over-​deliver. This was not one of those.
While the food was good, it wasn’t great. I was happy that it was Wacky Wednesday and all side dishes were priced ½ off. There was nothing wrong with the sandwiches that maybe more meat and flavor could have solved. So if I go back, I won’t waste money on the other sandwiches. I’m just going to over The King and give it one more try.

Okay, so, let’s just start out by saying that the staff here are SUPER nice and can add or subtract any toppings or special requests!
Prices are decent, I think I spent about 16 bucks on 2 7in sandwich combos. Tuesdays are 2 stamp Tuesdays and once your card is filled up you get a free sandwich! Who doesn’t like free sandwiches!!!
Oh the curly fries and cheese fries are BOMB! Don’t just stick to your comforts, branch out and try some of their other options on the menu, they will defiantly appease your taste buds. Don’t pass this spot up!
