U-Swirl Frozen Yogurt

I like everything about this place aside from the fact that they don’t let you get your own samples. They baby sit you and do it all for you. It’s pretty annoying. If you need a sample while the people are busy, then you have to wait! Just let us do it ourselves!

Wonderful quiet place to get frozen yogurt. Clean and friendly! Love this place. Lots of toppings, always stocked. The yogurt is delicious and the toppings always look fresh never stale.

MMM MMM! What a treat on a hot day :) I just wish the flavors were more consistent.

Completely satisfied. Friendly employees even at 10 to closing. Tasty variety of flavors and great selection of toppings. And reasonable pricing. Can go wrong here.

I’m from Washington and this was the only yogurt place I tried. Maybe things are different in California, but I expected better. I was excited to see the fruit selections and was disappointed! The Blueberry’s were previously frozen and shriveled and the strawberry’s were over ripe and in bad shape. The frozen yogurt was actually frozen, not very soft like I’m used to. Overall my friend and I left pretty unsatisfied. THe costumer service was good though. The lady was nice and helped us with tasting the different flavors.

why am i here you ask? innocently enough after a hard day’s work (i get off at 9:15 pm) i fancied myself some delicious froyo. hmm where to go where to go. kiwi blast is in close proximity to my home and has great deals, but i wanted to go for the better taste, quality and service. or so i thought.
being no idiot, i check my phone for look up uswirl’s hours. oh thank god i thought. it is open until ten pm because that is what my phone aka google is saying and it could not possibly be wrong. think again said uswirl. not only was i denied entry even though their google page said 10 pm, (proof to follow) but one of the employees ignored my knocking and walked away after looking at me dead in the eye.
hey i get it, you messed up. fix your google page, we can go on. but ignoring me!!! that is where i draw the line. a quick «hey i’m sorry we’re actually closed, i’m sorry you drove here with nine of your roommates in tow.»
reimburse me for my gas.

I might end up giving them 5 stars on my next visit. The only negative about this place is they don’t open until 1pm on weekends. We showed up at 12:30 and almost went home… glad we didn’t!
I’m a vanilla junkie. Good vanilla is like a cold beer on a summer day; a hot totty on a winter night. They have good vanilla here.
Their other flavors are just as great. Try the cupcake batter.
While we were there enjoying our very yummy frozen yogurt, the owner (I presume) came in and was making friendly conversation with folks. She was very nice and gave everyone $ 1 off coupons. Score! I’ll be back for sure!

A few times I’ve stopped by and the shop was closed before posted closing times, also I’ve had a very negative experience with the staff and the manager has been non responsive.
Pros: Plenty of toppings, yummy flavors.
Cons: Poor Management/​customer service, hours being nonrepresentational.

GREAT Place ! Tried almost every one in town and this is my absolute favorite! I love the yogurts, I always always get the cake batter & coconut (if they have the coconut one in). They have amazing topppings too! So many variety of fruits and candies, and crushed nuts. I’ve always loved toppping off my yogurt with crushed almonds, it makes the whole thing taste amazing. Overall, a great place, DEFINITELY recommend for froyo.

A pretty average yogurt shop! I love that they do fundraisers for local non profit organizations. Also, all the pictures of fruit on the wall makes me feel like I’m being very healthy. Haha! A nice variety of flavors too.

Big and open, and has a nice patio with a view of a busy street. Amazing choice of quality toppings and you can mix your own combination of many flavors. Friendly staff and nice color scheme. A great place to take kids and has comfortable seating too.

But …
They have a deal on campus coupons, it’s an app for you’re smart phone that gives you coupons to use at local business. U swirl advertises «bogo» buy one get one. This sounds like you get the second one free but you don’t it works out to only half off the second cup. This is false advertising to get customers in the store, and it’s just not proper business practices.

Delicious vanilla custard fro-​yo! Good selection of flavors, nice space, not as much fruit as we would have liked. But yummy! Great after dinner at Farm Star Pizza!

This place is really good on happy hour days or when a coupon is used, but full-​price the yogurt just doesn’t seem worth it. Their yogurt melts almost immediately after it comes out, and quickly turns into a melty soup, a lot quicker than yogurt from other places. They have a few really good flavors (like vanilla and raspberry) and quite a few options, including no sugar added ones, but they also have some off-​tasting ones (like fudge brownie, which I’m really not a fan of). Their selection of toppings is really good.
If it’s not half-​off day, I’d rather get yogurt elsewhere.

You can in fact get a free sample of everything you want before you buy but the problem is that the employees have to stand there and fill the tiny cup for you rather than let you get your own sample.
Personally I don’t like being treated like a child. Don’t care what reasoning there is behind this I don’t like it.

My daughter and I have become self-​serve yogurt «connoisseurs» the past two years … U-​Swirl was … underwhelming.
The yogurt is not better or worse than any other place. It was clean, but not ultra clean. Not cheap, but over-​priced either. For that I’d have no problem giving four starts.
But for the service … a bit slow and no smiling. Seriously, after going 10 times in August I didn’t see one person on staff smile. Makes me nervous … unhappy employees usually mean — well, you know the rest.

Great frozen yogurt for a reasonable price. Great choice of toppings. Friendly servers. It’s a toss between pomegranate sorbet and peanut butter (when they have it) for favorite treat.

I love self serve yogurt places, and I usually drive to Brainfreeze but I wanted to try U-​swirl because it was closer to home. The shop is large and more inviting to stay and hang out compared to Brainfreeze. Though when I’ve tried to pull some yogurt out of the machines sometimes its not even frozen, and trays at the bottom are filled with melted yogurt. Not sure why its not frozen… big bummer, when the two flavors you want look gross and liquidy. When the yogurt has been frozen its good, but its happened twice. So hopefully they stay more consistent!

This place is so cute and happy. When my roommate and I walked in, she even said she felt like she had to smile.
The service has been friendly every time I’ve come in and the prices are awesome, too.
The only problem is, with so many choices of yogurt flavors and toppings, I always spend soooo long trying to figure out what I want!
