Went to Wang Cho for dinner. Had to wait about 30mins. Once we are seated though, the waiter came by fast to take orders. The meat servings are fairly small. I’m a big dude so I had to order, like, 10 plates of meat since the servings on each plate were lacking. The side dishes they offer were quite good. It is a little to smokey but if you go to a KBBQ buffett, you better expect to leave smelling like meat so I kind of expected it. The quality and taste of the meat was not as good as K-town but really, who can compete with K-town. I guess this place caters to non-koreans based on all the good reviews seen. But real koreans know this place is mediocre at best.

We always come here and the last few times we came here the service was horrible, I hope they do something about it…

I’m a regular here(like literally every week and if I had a bad day, then there’d be an extra visit that week) so this post is long overdue. This is one of the best AYCEKBBQ joints I’ve been to. I’d like to think my boyfriend and are I pretty easy to take care of: give us a lot of rice paper, make sure our sauces are full, and make sure the sides/meats are always at hand and we will never call you with that button). With that said, this place has the best bonchon choices(some days they aren’t cooked as well as others, but it’s always the same). We always get the same from the prince menu($ 19.99): beef brisket and pork belly. We used to throw in bulgogi(too sweet after repeated visits lol) and the five spice chicken(it burned the grill too quickly no matter the temp) — they’re both good, but after a while we just got tired of it lol. There are good and bad servers too, most notably is Note. He is by far my favorite server. Very attentive! I really enjoy Wang Cho(thank goodness it’s in Chino Hills, ps. they’re opening in Riverside) and I hope you do too!

«I smell like Korean BBQ» That is what you’ll say once you leave this place. Their ventilation really sucks here. I came here once with my friends and it honestly was smokey around us. We asked our waiter if it was on, because it honestly didn’t seem like it. Its not the cleanest restaurant either. The floors are all slippery from all the grease or something. Watch your step. They do have a food variety, but some food that should not belong in there. For example, sausage. Why sausage? Its Korean BBQ. Cmon.

This is pretty much a long over due post. Wang Cho is one of my top AYCE Korean bbq, hands down. I’m going to be this review by saying GETTHECALIFORNIAROLLS. I swear I’m not crazy but this place on top of good quality meat, m and side dishes… They make the best California Rolls ever. My friends joke that we’re going to eat $ 20 worth of rolls. And sometimes I’m sure we do. They have a lot of selection and 3 tiers(Prince, King and Emperor). Note that if you come on a holiday you might have to get the most expensive one. They did that to us on Christmas but you know we knew it would be worth it so we did. The beef rib and beef belly are my favorite. Ruben was our server multiple times(I come too often) and he’s always the best. He’s always in a cheerful and helpful mood. Other servers are great too but he stuck out to me the most and made sure we got a refill on anything and everything we wanted. Surprisingly he never really writes down our order, he just memorize them and get it right every time– even with large 6 – 8 people group order. I think that’s pretty impressive. He even let us switch tables once because we wanted to be seated near a tv to watch a game. The lines can be long but no big deal, it really is worth it. And remember, California Rolls!

Seriously, our server rocked it this night! Came in on a Monday night for a celebratory dinner with my lovely family of 5. We ate sooo much as you tend to do at AYCEKBBQ. Our server handled our order wonderfully and was there every time we pressed the button for help. When we got there it was not very busy but as the time went by it got really busy and we were in the middle of dinner rush. I was impressed with the service this night, we had our grill changed often and the food was really really great. It was the first time that the rest of my family had been here and they were impressed with the food and and happy about the attentive service. I cant bring myself to go to another Korean bbq place in the IE. This is where I want to go any time people suggest KBBQ. Needless to say, I will be back.

This place rocks my socks! It’s worth smelling like food for the rest of the night. The selections are great and decently priced for the amount of food you get. My faves from The King Menu: Steamed Egg Beef Brisket Rib Fingers WangCho Steak Garlic Pork Belly

PROS: — Fair pricing($ 14.99 for lunch, $ 19.99 for Standard Dinner, $ 24.99 for deluxe type package) — great service — food is super good; menu has a lot of great options — accommodates small and large parties(we had my sister’s 21st here) — good drinks — prices were decent, i think they have a tower for a good price, always looks so fun to have — new: macaron ice cream sandwiches!(I crave them sometimes) — really good deal for the price CONS: — usually a long wait to be seated, may have improved by now — sometimes there are longer periods of time between needed service(they’re super busy), but it’s not that bad THINGSTOCONSIDER: — AYCE: usually just a few meats and food choices brought at a time. I love coming here, we probably go a couple times a year — we would go more if I wasn’t pregnant at this point.

I had high hopes for the place. The ratings on the restaurant led me to believe that we were going to have some quality food and service. At first glance, it is a very popular place with the public. The ambiance is a mix of casual dining and sports bar due to the large amount of tvs. Our wait time was approximately estimated to be 20 minutes by the hostess but she missed the mark. We waited about 45 minutes. I kept seeing if we’re up next, to which they said yes, however we were repeatedly pushed back, and finally the hostess told us that we were on a separate list for larger parties. This, accompanied with her tone, was the most sectorial statement I’ve heard in terms of customer service. I work as a customer service rep and statements like that can open a door into segregate commentary from the listener. It’s a bit like saying: We’re taking care of the smaller parties first and the larger parties will be of a lower priority. Admittedly, I could be wrong, but better words should be chosen. Especially in this PC society. It was stunned that she chose to use such rhetoric. The food was okay. Barely okay. Rowland Heights has better KBBQ. The cuts of meat are cheap and ridden with fat. More fat than actual protein. The soup tasted like Campbell’s soup. Service was okay. The service was slow but consistent and I liked that they left a decanter with water at the table. Would I return? For the given price, service, food quality, and ambiance? Not a chance. Edit: they have an ant infestation. It’s either on the floor or on the ceiling and I had to flick one off from my hand.

THISPLACE = my favorite AYCE Korean BBQ. Service: Just wonderful. I dropped a utensil, needed a new cup, wanted to order more meat and wanted to also order more sides — our waitress was ONTOP of it! I wish I got her name because she was fantastic! Service was A+ Meats: We ordered a bunch of meat! The two that stuck out to me(so much that I ordered seconds) was the bulgogi and the beef brisket. Oh boy, they were so juicy and went well with all the side dishes. Cleanliness: I went to the restroom there and everything was clean. No toilet paper on the floor or dirty toilet seats. That right there makes me want to come back. If there’s anything that grosses me out about a restaurant, it’s dirty restrooms. Even the entire restaurant was tidy. Whenever my hubby and I are in this area, the only place we eat at is Wang Cho. GOTRYIT!

It’s in a good location with places such as Sam’s club, walmart, Aki-Home, In-n-out. They have a $ 16.99 lunch special with items such as brisket, bulgolgi, boneless beef ribs, steamed egg, california rolls etc. Our waitress was really attentive and nice and just overall polite and great. We were seated immediately on a weekday around 12−1pm. I really liked that the brisket had little fat! Beef bulgolgi was good, nice flavor. Boneless beef ribs were good, like small cuts of steak, pretty tender. They have sides like jap chae(glass noodle) kim chi, pickled daikon, bean sprouts, fish cake, macaroni/potato salad. All quality of meat that we had was really good. Overall very happy with my experience at wang cho, surpassed my expectations!

Omg! Out of all the ayce KBBQs, this is by far the best! It’s $ 20 per person and the service is usually very good. The wait times aren’t too bad either if you come before the rush. The brisket is so delicious, I can eat a couple plates all on my own! I also love the sides, macaroni/potato salad and the tofu soup and steamed egg. Of course, all is unlimited so come with an empty stomach and a big appetite! Some kbbq doesn’t allow each individual to get steamed egg. They also have an awesome birthday song and dessert so tell your server if it’s someone’s birthday! I’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints.

This place is usually packed so I made a reservation for a table since we were going to be a big group. Our group was seated right away. Service was slow and we had to constantly call and remind our server what we were missing. The food was good but it would have been better if the service was prompt and consistent. We had to keep waiting for about 10 – 15 minutes in between when our food was done cooking because it was so slow. They are good about switching grills but even better if the vents worked. It seemed that the vents were just for display since it does not seem to be working. The place was all smokey! There were three options available in the menu and we chose the Prince for $ 19.99. It included a lot of sides and meat choices. My favorites were the beef bulgogi and boneless beef brisket. The garlic pork belly was good too. I also liked the steamed egg and their green salad. The service was pretty bad though. At the end of the meal, we asked if they could provide us with some extra plates and forks for the birthday cake we brought with us. They do let you bring in cake from outside, which is good. But if you are going to do this, make sure to bring your own paper plates and forks. They brought out the plates but didn’t bring out the forks till we we were almost done eating the cake with chopsticks(I kid you not!). To add salt to injury, they automatically add 18% gratuity on your check. You apparently have no choice but to reward their bad service. I feel bad because their food is really good, and some of the servers do try but it seems they are short-staffed too. There was a sign outside the door for help wanted. Hopefully they can get more help to improve their service rating.

Food: $ 16.99 weekday all you can eat lunch is a descent price. You have a little over 20 items to choose from. They also have other options with higher prices. I thought the food was alright, but my mom liked the ones in Rowland Heights better. Service: The servers we had today were a little off. The lady at the front told us to follow her to the seats, but then she walked off immediately after she said that and didn’t lead us directly to our table. As soon as we sat down, our waiter shouted, «You’re not supposed to sit down yet!» I thought he was still prepping for the table so I stood up right away, but nothing happened. Wasn’t sure if he was trying start a joke or what, but I don’t think that should the first thing you say to your customers when they come in hungry, even if you’re trying to be funny…

Came here for a friend’s birthday. AYCE for 2 hours. They have 3 different price groups. Each offers different protein options. We went with the $ 20 one. We enjoyed all the proteins and the banchan was on point. My favorite is the spicy, pickled radish. Soooo good. We had a group of 16 and service was awesome. Super attentive and on it! I know some reviewers mentioned that they didnt like that gratuity was automatically added, but I didnt mind. Those kids WORKED! They earned that 18%. I would totally come back here again(if I happen to find myself in Chino again. LOL)

The quality of Wang Cho’s meat compared to the best of Ktown(Hae Jang Chon, Oo-Kook, Kang Hodong) is probably a 3. The service is really top notch when you want more banchan, water, meat, etc. You don’t ask for requests, they ask for your requests. Beef tongue is on the 24.99 menu, not on the 19.99 menu. Their beef brisket is probably the best in the Chino/Chino Hills area. The macaroni banchan is OP tasting.

This place is great. I have never had Korean BBQ before I tried this place. It is very spacious for a great amount of people. Service is always fast and the servers are always willing to help you out. They are all great. The meat is fresh and delicious. We recently came here for a company Christmas dinner and my coworkers loved it. They had a great time and were in all how great the food was. Even the ones who have never had Korean Bbq as well. I will continue to come here and this will always be one of my top picks when it comes to going somewhere for dinner. You can never get tired of his place. Oh and there Soju is amazing so tasty.

A girlfriend of mine treated me to lunch here recently, it was my first«Kbbq» experience and they definitely left a great impression. We came in about 2 pm on a weekday and it was pretty crowded. Our server was very nice and willing to explain how the lunch special works. Everything is all you can eat btw. Wow. For anyone interested; you receive a menu with all proteins and you can choose 3 at a time and cook it for yourself at the table. It also includes veggies to grill. There’s another menu with«sides» and you can pick I believe 4 at a time.(We got these little California rolls, rice, salad, and tofu soup. There’s a lot more to choose from and you can try something different for your second or even 3rd round of you’re hungry enough) I already can’t wait to return, very unique experience and very friendly staff. Lunch is about 16 dollars per person. Worth it.

Wang Cho is easily one of my top three KBBQ places in the LA/OC! Sometimes I wish it was a bit closer to home so I could go more often. Then again, maybe that would be a terrible thing. The restaurant is large, service is great, ample parking, and lots of choices! As for the menu, there are three different level you can choose from. As usual, the more expensive menu selections come with more choices and fancier meats such as Angus Steak, shrimp, and angus beef ribs, etc. We opted for the Prince at $ 19.99 and were very satisfied! 1) Prince $ 19.99 2) King $ 22.99 3) Emperor $ 28.99 First off, I was here for a graduation party so we had a reservation for a party of 18. Once we arrived, we were immediately seated in a room off to the side so we were secluded and had our own dedicated waitress. While I appreciated having our own room and waiter, I could tell that our waitress, Jasmin, was a bit overwhelmed. Jasmin was very friendly, enthusiastic, and made great recommendations. But, Wang Cho… You definitely need to send her some back up next time! Poor girl. Before I get started on the meat here. Let me start by saying that the quality is probably an 8⁄10 so it’s pretty damn good! MEAT. Angus Beef Brisket — think of it as the«healthier» version of beef belly. aka less fatty version! good choice to order this, especially if you cook it thin and burn it a bit! Beef Belly — the«unhealthy» version of beef belly. OMG. I like this better than the pork belly because it’s sliced crazy thin and tastes like heaven in your mouth. I would definitely try this out if you love beef or are a fan of pork belly! Marinated Boneless Beef — marinated boneless beef tastes great! the nice thing about Wang Cho is that their meats aren’t overly saucy or salty. A lot of times it seems like KBBQ places make it super salty so you end up drinking a lot of water. By the time you know it, you’re fool! Marinated Slice Beef Bulgogi — tastes very similar to the boneless beef but the meat is from sirloin. meat has nice marbling and is not tough at all. BANCHAN.(Side dishes!) One of my favorite parts of eating KBBQ is eating the banchan! They have several different cold sides here but my favorite are definitely the MACARONISALAD, KIMCHIDAIKON, and FISHCAKE! All the other sides are good, but these really stood out to me! SAUCES. For once, I actually used all three sauces… The oil with salt, soysauce, and the chili sauce. They all taste really great and the oil with salt doesn’t have too much«sesame» flavor which is usually the case. SERVICE. It was as good as it could get for a party of 18 being supported by one waitress. Once, again. Thank you Jasmin! You were very helpful and we could tell you were overwhelmed — but you did great! PARKING… You can find parking everywhere. Wang Cho is located in a huge parking lot that is shared with Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls, Walmart, Tilted Kilt, etc. Why not 5*? One of the waiters that initially helped Jasmin accidentally dropped the ceramic bowl of tofu soup on the floor/table and it shattered and splashed on someone’s leg in our party(training issue?). Management didn’t come in to apologize or address anything. Did they even know? Also because there was only one waitress for a table of 18.

Thoroughly impressed with Wang Cho. From the ambience of the setting to sizzling grills at the table, this place has everything going for them. They have many tiers of All You Can Eat(AYCE) including a lunch special starting at $ 16.99. You can’t be beat that lunch special. The service here is A1. Sometimes when u go to a AYCE place it’s gets so busy that sometimes food can taken longer to arrive or it’s hard for servers to keep tabs on you but these guys were on top of things like clockwork. The menu All the meats we tried and the selection of food is phenomenal. While your coming here to get your Korean BBQ fix, you can still get a pretty good California roll. Believe it or not as basic as a California roll is, a lot of places can’t get it right. You can even get a macaron Ice cream sandwich. They also provide you with all the great Korean side dishes including Japchae and fish cakes. Traditional Korean restaurants will charge at least $ 10 for that. They have a large selection of meat, what else could you ask for. If your looking for a memorable experience for AYCE Korean BBQ, you cannot go wrong with this restaurant. Its clean the service complements the menu for a dynamite experience. 5 Stars all around!
