My husband’s boss recommended this place so we checked it out last Monday evening. My husband ordered a T-Bone steak and I had the ribs and tri-tip combo. The food wasn’t too bad but the wait was a lot longer than most restaurants we’re used to visiting on a Monday night. The place wasn’t even that crowded, so I’m not sure why the food took so long to receive. The bread was good, the ranch dressing was good, servers were nice. My husband said his T-Bone was pretty bland. My ribs and tri-tip were decent, but nothing spectacular. We probably wouldn’t go out of our way to come here again. A cribbage club meets there on Monday nights, apparently. Our booth was near them, so it was interesting to see them running their meetings in the side room. Btw, if you’re a fan of country music, you’ll like this place because that’s all they play.(I wasn’t a fan)

I’m glad we gave this place another chance. Thank you Sarah, our waitress, for lovely service. Our food was great as it was before, maybe our little mishap was a one time issue. Only thing I would nitpick about is, it would have been nice to be contacted instead of contacting, but as a small business owner I could relate to timing and what not. Thanks again, it’s worth spending our hard worked money here.

I’ve been to Cattle Rustlers a few times over the last few years. This is a situation where I don’t agree with the overall Unilocal user rating. In my opinion(which this is), no way is this place worthy of the 4 star overall rating. The food is average, at best. Plenty of fried food options. I’m not a steak eating guy so I go for non-steak options. at a steak house. We sat in the dining area near the bar, early evening on a Wednesday. The pulled pork sandwich that was described as piled high topped with onion relish, fried pickle chips and a side of BBQ Au’jus dipping sauce arrived as a BBQ pork sandwich doused in super sweet bbq sauce in a split roll. I think it was a cabbage slaw that was on the plate and wasn’t very interesting. The fries were somewhat stale and soggy, not warm. Also on the table were my wife’s happy hour pork tacos. That’s the pork that was supposed to be on my sandwich. My wife reported that the pork was very spicy, too spicy, and she likes spicy. The best thing on the table would be the fried pickle chips from the happy hour menu. Tangy and fun. Pass on the dipping sauce, not sure what it was … ranch dressing, maybe. I’m not convinced these were made in-house and I invite correction if I am incorrect. Cattle Rustlers continued existence is a mystery to me. I suppose there’s a place for anything and they may have found their place. It’s not a place I would take friends or family unless it was for an evening of karaōke and drinks … maybe. I’m not in the least snobby but the crowd here(that seem like mostly regulars) are. maybe best described as *[how one dresses is an indication of how they«keep» themselves, their home, and life]* To each their own, no judgment. This may, perhaps, indicate lower expectations where its about hanging out at a fun place with your fun peeps and the food is secondary to their entertainment experience. Not why I am here.

We LOVE independent eateries and this one is one of our favorites. Steakhouses are hard to find, and this one is a good one. Prices are reasonable, the lighting in here is perfect for dining. They have good old fashioned booths, an extensive menu and we recently had a party there with 22 people. Everyone was pleased with their dinner(individually ordered from the menu) and no one sent anything back to the kitchen for correction! Please support this place. Oh, they have a nice, separate bar as well!

If I could give negative stars I would. 10 bucks for a shrimp cocktail, and what did I get? FIVESHRIMP. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Plus the horseradish in the cocktail sauce was so overpowering one of my ten bites was ridiculously unpleasant. Another patron I was with had the New York steak which could only be described as the meat-flavored texture equivalent of gummy bears. If you don’t believe it I would tell you to try it yourself, but I wouldn’t want anyone to have to go through what we did for thirty bucks. That’s right. An ear of weak corn, gummy steak, iceberg lettuce with ranch, 3 pieces of bread, and 5 shrimp for thirty bucks. Seriously. This is embarrassing that I even paid. I’m just gonna stop writing now.

This place is delicious! Steak is amazing and love the beans! (I’ve had a couple rude servers and that sucks– but j know you can’t hold it against Cattle Rustlers too much) The bar is cool and fun on Friday nights when they have karaōke. The drinks are pretty good but super pricey. I wish they had deals of the week or some other discounted drinks– it would be more of an incentive to bring in more people.

I celebrated my birthday here because it is hands down my favorite restaurant. They make the best drinks. Ask for a cloud nine if you ever go in! They took the large party I had on a Saturday with short notice. Their food and service is fantastic !!

First time dining here tonight and I was concerned because eating out gets more discouraging in regards to service and quality! Boy were we wrong! Service was the best we’ve had in a long time, thanks to Ryan! He was polite, helpful, and educated about their menu and was patient with all our inquiries. Best house salad I’ve had in a long time, and all their dressings are made from scratch and you can tell! The rolls were delish, fresh from the oven and you have your choice of cinnamon butter or regular. I had the ribeye(huge and brought over ½ home) corn on the cob– crunchy and sweet. My husband had the NY with garlic mash and seasoned veggies all cooked to order! I would recommend you try it, and after tell Sarah the sweet owner we met how your experience was! We will be back with our son because he loves Chicken Fried Steak and it’s on the menu! Great night!

I don’t usually feel compelled to hop on to Unilocal and leave a review but Cattle Rustlers is worth it. Came here a few weeks back for a much needed date night with my wife. My filet was absolutely fantastic and so was my baked potato. They give you water in enormous mason jars so they don’t have to stop every two seconds to give you a refill, perfectly ok in my book. The bread with honey butter, AWESOME. Service was friendly, quick, and unobtrusive. We will definitely be back! So glad we have a legitimate steakhouse in our neighborhood other than Black Angus or Cattlemen’s. Don’t get me wrong, I can dig Cattlemen’s but Cattle Rustlers gets the edge for me. Keep up the good work. We’re loving it.

I was a bit hesitant to try this place after reading some negative reviews about the food quality, but I’m glad I did. I’m a total food snob and everything I had here was delicious! I ordered the rib eye, rare, which was really tender and cooked rare just like I wanted. Garlic mashed potatoes were flavorful and just chunky enough, veggies were steamed but still crisp. My salad was fresh and the lettuce looked to be perfect, no clear or brown leaves, yay! My friend ordered the NY medium which had minimum fat/gristle and was also cooked as ordered, I didn’t try theirs but he said it was delicious too. Staff was fantastic, I wish I remembered our servers name! But she was really friendly and outgoing, she made a few funny jokes and was a little quirky, which we liked, very laid back. But she was on top of it made sure we had drink refills before our glasses were empty, and we didn’t have to wait for our check or boxes. The actual restaurant looks kind of like an old person restaurant, I think its just the maroon booths and booth covers because the other décor is trendy, but it is quiet and no problems with waits for a table! Prices are also really really reasonable for a steak house. High quality rib eye for under $ 20, sounds good to me! We will definitely be back.

Wow! My friend an I made reservations this evening and had an amazing experience. We discussed going there the last time I was in town. We read about this steak house on Unilocal and the awards it has received. Our waiter was Ryan and he was the bomb. Very polite, paid attention to our needs and offered great recommendations. Both of our New York steaks were cooked to perfection which was medium rare. We added the sauted garlic mushrooms on top and neither of us used steak sauce. It was not needed! The bonus was perfectly made Lemontinis. Thank you Cattle Rustlers for an awesome evening. We give you five stars!

If you try to compare this place to Cattleman’s you might be disappointed. They don’t have the delish bread or the same appetizers. However what they do have is a really good drink menu, some really good sides and probably the best Prime Rib I have ever had. Be open minded when you go, realize it’s not a chain and you will love it. I really like the big glasses they use for the drinks.

Came here for dinner last night with my boyfriend. The service was great and everything arrived how it should be. So it was quick and friendly service! I give it 3 stars because of the steak. We ordered the Porterhouse steak(2lbs). I am not a fan of medium rare so we got our steak medium. It came out and it was basically still medium rare. It looks cooked outside but definitely not cooked inside. So it took us 5 mins to get a waiter’s attention. We sent it back and it came out medium rare still! I didn’t want to send it back knowing it would be a waste of time since its only going to get thrown on the grill for five seconds. My boyfriend ate the steak and I ate the part where it was not red. It was a meal fit for two(based on our appetite) which was $ 37 plus tax. It came with beans and French fries which were great.

Came here on a whim. While sitting at the bar in Black Angus having a cocktail, we recalled that our last visit at BA was disappointing. While pondering over what steakhouses were in the area, I remembered that I had received a message from an anonymous Unilocaler to try Cattle Rustlers several months prior. Since we were in the vicinity, we decided to give them a shot! We were really excited to try someplace new but left disappointed. Four of us came here on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately, the place is western themed with comfy booths everywhere. We ordered our drinks, Long Island, Bacardi and Coke, the Outlaw, and regular iced tea. Only one out of the four drinks were okay, take a guess? The iced tea, FTW! Seriously, no joke! Hubby sent back his Long Island for a vodka tonic, the Bacardi Coke tasted like there was no rum, and the Outlaw drink was something I’d like to forget. All I could taste was cheap vodka and nothing else. I typically don’t mind well vodka but this was awful. The drink was made with vodka, triple sec, sweet and sour, and blue curacao… It was so bad that I ended up drinking maybe a fourth of my drink. Should’ve sent it back but didn’t because hubby’s long island was sent back and didn’t want to add this also. When we went to order a second glass of Bacardi and Coke, our server told us that they ran out of Bacardi. WTH? Really? It was only around eight pm on a Saturday night? That’s probably why we tasted very little of Bacardi on the first drink! We ordered our food and pretty much everything was subpar. My New York steak was tough and salty. The T-bone was tough as well, and hubby’s ranch steak was disappointing for it to have been slow roasted for four hours. Couldn’t understand why the meats were so tough although we ordered it medium to medium well. The coconut shrimp was just okay. The baked potato and rice pilaf was delicious, if you compare them to the steaks. Although the prices were reasonable, I would much rather pay a little more and have a decent steak. Overall, I don’t think we’ll return. They have a nice bar area with big comfy booths but with the drinks being the way they were, it’s not enough to make me want to go back.
