Still excellent service as always the crew over this ihop do a great job taking care of customer. Just make sure on Sundays if you want to go try to get there before 9 am.

We visited this morning and received impeccable service from Brandon. He was attentive but not intrusive, took our order quickly, brought our drinks, and offered refills. The food was hot and the orders were well prepared and tasty. My son got a milk($ 2.50 seems a little steep for a small when that will buy a whole gallon of milk at the store), the breakfast sampler with over-medium eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, pancakes, and well done hash browns. I enjoyed an iced mocha(with free refills!), eggs Benedict with pancakes instead of hash browns. The only complaint was that the hollandaise was too sweet, which was odd, and needed a bit more lemon, though I was happy that my Benedict was well sauced & the amount of hollandaise wasn’t skimpy. Eggs Benedict is traditionally served with a couple slices of tomato or fruit — I missed that little add-on since its a heavy meal and needs a little light side. Over all, the dining room wasn’t busy(though I have waited over an hour to be seated during busy Sundays) and it was a very pleasant visit.

Ihop’s always good but I wish the servers did a better job at keeping each area clean, at least something is a little sticky somewhere on the table. Foods usually pretty good though. Just wish the place was a little more sanitary.

This place is actually outstanding for a chain of dinners. It might just be this particular location; service, food quality and overall appearance of this location is really good. Apart from the chunky menu items that IHOP is know for, they do offer a huge range of «healthy» items for lunch breakfast and dinner, which to me is amazing. They even chart the calories for each meal. The interior is a little too 70’s, with the plastic feeling and slightly dull colors, despite that, this place is clean, neat and is well maintained, therefore I have not much to complain about it. Sure the place could use a little upgrade to the 20th century, nevertheless its not disturbing. The menu is always updated and feels new and looks new, not ripped or anything like that. The service here is exceptional, one server worth mentioning is gayland, who is really efficient and is really good at his work as a server, very polite, courteous, ad enthusiastic. The other staff is also really good, and I have not experience bad service so far. Now the food, I won’t go far to say this is gourmet or home made quality kind of food, but for a chain, this place sometimes can be better than Denny’s in terms of portion, quality and taste. The IHOP specialty which of course happens to be their waffles and pancakes is to die for. My favorite however is the high protein salads, or chicken poblano omelette. Price wise it can be expensive, where per meal is $ 7 or more, but with the service, quality of food, and huge portion, this place is actually value for money.

Best glass of milk i’ve ever had at a restaurant. It was just short of brain-freeze temperature. Sliced cheese is for sandwiches, not breakfast topping. Cheese on breakfast should always be shredded. Don’t be lazy and tacky.

Our family patronizes the Clovis IHOP8 – 12 times a month. Good food, fair prices, friendly staff with(usually) attentive service. But today… I’m almost at a loss for words. All three grilled sandwiches came out burnt — on both sides. The sourdough toast — bottom slices black, top slices almost untoasted. The ham in the sandwich — burnt edges. Omelette — eggs burnt. The seasoned fries — no seasoning. The French Toast — burnt on the bottom. …Ya gotta be kidding… The waitress had the gall to actually bring burnt food to the table.(Food Service Rule #1: — NEVER deliver sub-par food to a customer… Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares, anyone?) I asked for the manager to come to my table so I can make them aware of the problem in the kitchen. I was told, «She can’t come out right now — she’s in the kitchen cooking.» OMG.(No wonder the waitress didn’t send back the burnt food at the serving window.) She offers 15% off the tab. Dumbfounded, I decline and asked that the manager evaluate our blackened meals and offer a better solution. After a few minutes, the waitress returns with edible toast and seasoning salt for the fries, which are now barely lukewarm. When we were done eating most of the non-charcoal items, the manager shows up and offers to recook our meals.(We’re done eating. We want more food? Really?!) I decline. She asks what was wrong with the food. I show her the pervasive blackness. Her reply? «I cooked your food.» …like that makes it all okay?! After I tell her that this meal is far below par and not what we’ve come to expect from IHOP, she apologizes and walks away — no offer to comp the burnt items like one might expect. The waitress eventually delivers the bill — with a 15% employee family discount applied to the total. Better than nothing, but not right. At this point, I decided to Unilocal!about it, and took a picture. I’ve had food problems at other restaurants and have received not only corrected food, but complimentary desserts AND40−80% off the tab, with the servers and managers falling all over themselves with apologies, begging forgiveness for the culinary faux pas.(A couple of times, the entire meal was on the house!) THAT is how you make it right, ensure customer satisfaction, and earn return business. To serve a bunch of burnt food is bad enough; to knock off only 15% just adds insult to injury…

Great service! Clean restaurant! Everything came up fast and tasted great! We had tweaked both our orders and they both came out perfect as requested. Good value for the price my only complaint being my Belgian waffle wasn’t crispy. Oh well, still good!

Service good. Coffee good. Wait is never too long. Tastes how I’d imagine a chain to taste. Still come here time to time when I want breakfast. :)

I started out going to get a burger, then I decided something with more choices, so I swung into the Sweet River Grill but something whispered in my ear…“Wafffffles, Waaaaafffffles.” Then I turned to the right and it was the IHOP. Who doesn’t love that carafe of coffee? Those overly sweet crepes? Those fluffy waffles? Here’s the scoop: I got the Chicken and Waffles. The«waffles» was 1 waffle. Not«waffles». The chicken was Chicken Strips. Having said that, it wasn’t terrible. Although the waffles weren’t crispy, they did taste okay. The chicken strips weren’t great but they had a nice spicy kick, they were crunchy and succulent, even though they came from what I can only assume to be a bag with the name«TYSON» on it. I ordered the side salad with balsamic dressing. It was standard. I got the salad quickly and by the time I took 4 bites, my food came. So I didn’t finish the salad anyway because it tasted like old plastic bag. It wasn’t gourmet, it wasn’t close to Rosco’s but hey, it’s IHOP. It was clean inside, the waitress was very good. It totaled approximately $ 13.00 + $ 3 tip. Disappointing price wise for what you get. Still, I was full and it was a waffle and it was chicken… so… As I drove off I wasn’t disappointed except for the fact that I didn’t leave room for some froyo. Damn. I’m giving IHOP3 stars. 2 because the service and cleanliness of the place was nice. 1 more star because of the food. So, it’s OK.

Coming here to compare the Ihop experience to Denny’s(which I will have visited before I complete this review). I will order wheat pancakes, egg whites, sausage, hash browns, and coffee at each place. Our drinks were quick to arrive but no waitress or our waitress has yet to come back to take our order and we knew what we wanted 1 minute after sitting down. Bad service so far. There is a coffee pot at each table so I suppose I am to refill myself. The hash browns were bland and not as crispy as I’d like. The egg whites and sausage were good and the grain nut whatever pancakes I got were good and kind of tasted like pumpkin bread. Delicious. The coffee smelled cheap. $ 24.25 for two people with drinks. Denny’s is better… or at least the Denny’s i went to.

We got in at 6:20 pm our hostess was nice and pleasant. Our waiter Manuel arrived at 6:22pm and took our drink orders. Our waiter came and took our dinner orders at 6:30pm, we were totally given enough time to review the menu. Our food arrived at 640pm… with soda refills in hand! I was super thrilled at the customer service and quality control of this establishment. I kept specific times on key events so that hopefully other business in the area learn a thing or two. On our way out we were thanked for our business and asked to return soon… with this service I will totally be coming back… A lot of readers might be thinking«they weren’t that busy» but they were and they did not compromise service to its constituents.

The menu here is outstanding. There were so many great choices here that it makes it difficult to decide what to order, specifically for breakfast. I had the«healthy choice» Belgian waffles topped with fresh sliced bananas, strawberries, and strawberry glaze. It was so good, I kept ranting and raving about it to my husband with every bite! It was hot and the waffle was cooked perfectly with the perfect portion size. I also had their egg substitute(which tasted just like real egg-couldn’t tell the difference at all in flavor) and the turkey bacon which, in my opinion, tastes better than pork bacon. Their mango strawberry fizz drink was also pretty tasty. Oh and the meal I had was only 5.99. I was also very pleased with the customer service and speediness in the preparation of the food. I’ll definitely be coming back to this ihop!

My husband and I went here for breakfast last weekend. I’m not usually a fan of breakfast, but was very impressed with the service and quality of food. I’m super picky when it comes to breakfast, as it is NOT my favorite meal. but my egg whites, sausage, and whole grain pancakes with apples were cooked perfectly(a little burned as requested), and my husband loved his bacon, sausage, pancakes and hash browns. The coffee was fresh and strong but not ashy or bitter – so perfectly balanced that I didn’t even need to add any sugar! The portions were perfect for a filling meal, and the price was decent. Our waiter, Steve(?) was attentive, but not overbearing. We had very enjoyable meal, and will definitely be back!
