Great food. Good chicken fried chicken! Awesome locals that have worked here forever. You know that means management is good to their people. Near Clovis High. We will be back!!!

First time here we enjoyed the food I got myself an omelette and definitely no complaints two words that the coffee was amazing always hot staff was super friendly. You have the option of sitting inside or out I personally sat inside at this time. I would definitely be coming back and recommend it to anybody else if you haven’t came to this place you need to go.

Went here this morning looking for a good breakfast. Won’t be coming back. We were hoping for a place that took some pride in their food, but this was obviously one of those joints you see on Gordon Ramsey’s «Kitchen Nightmares» episodes, where everything comes pre-made in a can/package/mix. The corned beef hash tasted exactly like the canned kind my grandma used to dump out and heat up for us as kids. On a trip back to the bathroom, I saw into the kitchen and saw Krusteaz buttermilk pancake mix on the shelves. The biscuits and gravy, inexplicably«voted best»(according to the menu), tasted like what they used to serve us in the Army. Coffee was weak, etc., etc. Nothing«down home» about this place at all. And pricey for breakfast to boot. Move along.

First time here, great food and great service. Only complaint was we were sat at a table with syrup on it, but the hostess noticed and cleaned it right up~

I’ve loved this place for over ten years! I always get the French toast with a side of biscuits and gravy.

Stopped in here on a Wednesday afternoon before a dentist appointment and absolutely loved our lunch. The waiter made a great recommendation between the chicken fried steak and the chicken fried chicken, and the chicken fried chicken and eggs were fantastic. The country potatoes were presented uniquely with the peppers and onions on top… amazing! As if the food wasn’t good enough, the wait staff was even better. I wish we lived closer, but we will be back the next time we are in the Fresno area.

Unilocaled to see where we should have breakfast after an appointment in Clovis. It was a great choice perfect place to have some home style food! Breakfast was great!!!

My last review for Sandy’s was a little over a year ago so I figured I would update it since it is not valid anymore. I still primarily come in for breakfast on Sunday mornings, always pre-church dismissal to avoid undesirable wait times for seating, and the food is still great. I see a lot of the same servers along with some new faces but the service is still top notch. Food continues to taste delicious and always arrives hot and fresh. Biscuits and gravy are my favorite side with the Boarding House, but I can only order ½ because it’s so filling. Prices are average for a breakfast joint but you definitely get what you pay for! I’ll definitely be back again as long as the food and service is the same.

Friendly and engaged staff, great prices, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I ordered the bacon and eggs which were delicious and hit the spot. Perfect way to start the day…

We had breakfast here today on their patio, which is dog friendly! The servers were so nice and all came out to pet our dog(and washed their hands afterwards, of course). One of the servers even made him a water bowl, without us asking him. They had a lot of exciting things on the menu and the perfect location in Old Town with the perfect patio. It felt like we were at the beach. Will definitely be going back! :)

On my first and only visit but definitely not my last I had and omelet which I think is the best I have ever had. No joke. The eggs were fluffy and cooked just right. The hash browns were perfect. The only thing stopping a 5th star was my coffee cup was empty a little longer then I would have like but really as good as this place was I’m coming back. Next time I want an OJ in a boot glass.

The best biscuits and gravy on the planet! It’s usually very busy on the weekends, but during the week it’s a little slower! Always great friendly service!

So happy IHOP was busy near our hotel and we stumbled upon this local gem. Place was super busy but wait was 15 minutes. We ordered waffles and gravy, eggs, bacon and sausage, pancakes, French toast(via Stack em Up option). Omgasssss… delish! All of it! The waffle with fresh blueberries and whip. so so SO good(facial worthy). Service was fantastic, all your food made the way you want and all the staff from the hostess to the waiters to the folks they serve the water and other drinks. everyone seemed happy to be there. the place was slamming and usually you’d see folks a little stressed and impatient… we didn’t feel that here. there were 7 of us and we all left there feeling happy! And super stuffed!

Two and-a-half stars. The server was very friendly upon entering, and they had a simple menu and a relaxed atmosphere. They let me bring in my Kuppa Joy from next door, so that’s a plus. I ordered the bacon-avocado-Swiss omelette, with hash browns and biscuits and gravy. The hash browns were well done the way I asked, and were good after I added salt and pepper. The omelette would’ve been good, if they hadn’t thoroughly cooked it and then put it in the microwave to melt the Swiss on top; the eggs were hard and browned, and the cheese had that distinct microwaved flavor. The bacon and avocado were ample and tasty, but it was drowned in cheese, which I scraped off. The biscuits and gravy(I tried a bite) were very fluffy and warm, and the generous helping of gravy was bacon, not sausage. Again, I added salt and pepper; then they were good. OK. Maybe I’ll see if they get better again later.

Ok! Let me tell you about the burger here. My son say that this is the only burger he will eat in Fresno & Clovis. It’s because the staff listens to how he wants it made, it’s always fresh, and he said it’s like being at home! Lawrence P. Collins

I received really good service here. They could have greeted me and my daughter but I understand they were truly busy. Their was a wait list we were fifth in line but we were seated within ten minutes. As soon as we were seated a gentlemen walked up and asked us for drinks. He was very kind and had a smile on his face. We got our drinks within two minutes from when we were asked. Since the restaurant was very busy the manager ended up coming by and taking our order. His name is johny and he seems pretty young and enthusiastic about his work place. Not only was he very attentive but his service and communication was on dial! He checked up on us every five minutes and if he didn’t I would be brought more coffee or water whenever my cup seemed to be running low without having to ask anyone. My food was very good. I had eggs Benedict with country potatoes. Whenever I see this at a breakfast joint I can almost never reframe myself from having to taste it. In this case I am very glad that I did not. Because I loved them second best eggs Benedict I have ever had. First time with spinach on it. Very delightful! Not to mention the food came out hot and even my daughter was refilled with orange juice without extra charge. I mean this was one of the best experiences I have had at a popular breakfast joint. Besides the food and service they even had color crayons in a little tin bucket with a large variety of color crayons not just a few like most places we have gone too. The only down side that I could think of to the restaurant was the fact that it took pretty long for the cashier to get to me I waited probably around five minutes for her to finally get to me. Besides that I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Even the atmosphere was awesome certainly says it in the name. Country and junctioning! This is certainly a place I will be returning to with my daughter in the near future and I would recommend this to anybody who loves breakfast like me and my daughter do. I look forward to grey device and tasting great food from a family oriented restaurant known by locals and prized by familiar faces. Great job!

Gigantic portions that don’t fit the baby-sized price tag. Super friendly and attentive staff. Large parking lot. I got the Eggs Florentine and OHMY. The poached eggs were perfectly done, the hollandaise was smooth and buttery, and my country potatoes were as country as Tim McGraw, or early Taylor Swift. The eggs lay atop thick slices of Canadian bacon, and the spinach and tomato made me feel a wee bit healthier with my morning choices. You can get either biscuits SMOTHERED in country gravy, or toast and jelly. But let’s get real, why would you get toast and jelly? My friend and I were stuffed to the brim and our check came out to $ 17. She couldn’t even finish her hashbrowns or that last strip of bacon. And neither could I, or else I would’ve stuffed that baby in my gullet in a heartbeat.(Admittedly, I had pre-breakfast before having brunch…) Can’t wait to come back and try everything else on their vast menu!
