We go no where else for Thai now that we have found NaRai! Great food, great service!

Excited to finally find what promised to be a great Thai restaurant in the cozy, old world charm of the Cheyenne Mountain Resort neighborhood, we decided to try several things on the menu and we weren’t disappointed! In this dark, intimate restaurant with a very cool center-bar vibe, we started off with steamed and lightly fried pot stickers with an awesome teriyaki/ginger dipping sauce and chicken satay skewers with peanut sauce and spicy cucumber salad. Smiles spread across our face as we savored every bite and went«yes, we have found the place…» For the main course, I enjoyed a lovely Indian-style(medium heat) yellow curry made with coconut milk, potatoes, carrots and onion. It was spot on for the best I’ve had at some of our favorite thai and indian establishments in other cities & countries. Hubby had the«Choo Chee Scallops»(large scallops with carrot, red bell pepper and Thai basil in a Panang curry sauce). His was delicious, but mine was better. LOL. The finale was a fantastic, season-fresh slice of mango cheesecake! We also enjoyed & appreciated the soft music and pull-down shades for a very comfortable experience. Needless to say, we will be back — and soon, I hope. This little hidden gem of an area also has a mexican patio restaurant and an upscale bistro that’s on our list of «must-try(s).»

The food was great. The service was excellent! We ordered the chefs special, lemongrass short ribs and they were phenomenal! Combination pad thai, Thai basil fried rice, and a coconut soup I can’t remember the name of. Everything tasted great. Highly recommend!

Wow. What a nice surprise. This is a fantastic Thai place nestled in the corner of a strip mall. I had the lemongrass short ribs and they were delicious. Seasoned perfectly. They have a full bar and tons of appetizers too. We had the potstickers and they were good too. I highly recommend this place. It’s is really close to Cheyenne mountain resort. You could walk there. Give it a go!

This Thai food is so delicious it’s incredible. My first taste of the green curry was sublime-such rich and silky flavors. Have also had Thai basil eggplant, pad Thai and tempura kabocha squash appetizer among others. Everything was delicious-highly recommend!

Had a nice glass of wine and Garlic Chicken Noodles. Everything was delicious! I ordered Medium. And it was perfect. We are waiting for the fried bananas. I have been assured they are tasty! Update: the fried bananas were awesome! The house made coconut ice cream was over the top. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Always smiling and won’t lead you astray. I gotta come back again! I highly recommend this place!

Very good, lots of veggies in main dishes. Appetizers were all good. Ordered house salad, Chicken satay, egg rolls. Kids fried rice is awesome. Entrees were garlic pepper beef and ginger chicken. Both were very good and all this fed 4 people well. Nice interior space.

Nothing really WRONG with this place, but nothing really great. Came here based on other Unilocal reviews. When we were seated, we were nearly the only table in the restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Greeted promptly by our server. Wish I could remember her name. Sweet girl. She took our drink order, brought me a wine sample, then the restaurant started filling up. And it was awhile before we saw our server again. Not her fault. She was the only one taking care of several tables. She eventually took our order, and after quite the wait, our vegetarian spring rolls came out. We were told they are made in the morning. You could tell. The rice paper they were wrapped in was pretty hard. Never had that happen with this appetizer before at several different Thai restaurants. Our main dishes came out & they were both very good. Then we were eventually able to order dessert from our poor server who was taking care of 6 – 8 tables and bar tending. We got sticky rice with their homemade coconut ice cream. Very subpar. Ice cream was gritty and not very flavorful. The sticky rice was hard and difficult to «cut» to get a bite. Again, never had this problem with sticky rice at a Thai restaurant before. My advice for the owner is to stop prepping things that should be prepared closer to being served and don’t have ONE server to take care of an entire dining room and bar by herself! I saw one table get up and walk out because they were not greeted in any reasonable amount of time. Wasn’t the servers fault. She was busy as all. And I also saw other tables getting increasingly frustrated looking around for the server because she just can’t be all places at once.

Came on a Saturday evening with a party of 4 and it was not busy. Service was so slow. The staff was nice but who cares cause once you see her you won’t see her again for another 15 minutes. After ordering it took 45 minutes to receive our food. Their portions don’t compare to the price. Small portions, very pricey. Taste: it’s pretty good but wasn’t really authentic. More classy upscale taste. We were the only Asians there, besides the bartender. For what that’s worth. Would not return. Would not recommend this place to someone looking for authentic Thai.

The restaurant is beautiful and makes for a good date night out. We ordered for take out. By the time I got home the sauces of the dishes had all leaked through, cause the packaging was one of those cheap white styrofoam ones, restaurants would use for fries, wings etc. Usually you find Thai food in those black boxes, which prevent leaking. My husband didn’t like his sesame chicken at all, my noodle dish was ok, but wouldn’t get it again. The food was nothing mind-blowing. I can only judge 2 dishes of the menu but I find it super pricey for what I got. I would’ve loved to give a better review, cause I was super excited to try this place!

I remember when this place was called Chopsticks and now it’s this place. Let me tell you they have to do a lot of work here still food is good but you don’t get a lot of meat. I ordered Spicy shrimp and there was only 7 shrimp in the whole bowl my girlfriend ordered orange shrimp and there was only 8 shrimp plus the tails were still on them and it made them hard to eat. The prices are a little high for what u get. We had to ask for water when we sat down. I would think first before I go here again.

Great Thai restaurant. A little upscale and beats some of the hole in the walls I have been in. Service was prompt and pleasant. Young ladies were warm and accommodating. Only thing that was off on my Thai radar was no one looking or speaking Thai. Food was good, portion a bit light but spicy level was perfect. Would enjoy coming back. Good value and nicer surroundings.

Excellent food and worth seeking it out hidden back in the corner. Again I was with my group of 20 singles, NaRai was well prepare and had a long table waiting for us. We waited a little bit for our drinks and there was little confusion but nothing serious anyway it is hard to serve a large group without a hiccup. They did a pretty good job of serving all of us within minutes of each other. Everyone loved there food. I for one will definitely go back soon. The interior is well done, the acoustics are not the best… it was hard to hear people across the table. Because there are several restaurants in the strip mall type area the parking is at a premium you may wish you wore comfortable shoes to walk to and from your car… yeah you are right I didn’t wear comfortable shoes… ouch, ouch, ouch, I suffered for beauty. ;-) The food was worth it!!! and very reasonably priced.

We read the Unilocal reviews and visited this place based on those reviews The place was beautiful and very tastefully done however the food was awful and the server was without any suggestions or help. We did not eat even eat more than a bite of our spring rolls or dinner which went unnoticed by our server. Wine was a four ounce pour which is crazy and cheap in this day and age The pad Thai was all big thick noodles nothing green or healthy as described on the menu and tofu was inundated with sauce. Also their music choice was heavy base and loud and not conducive to what appeared as a classy Thai eatery We wish them luck.

Great food, top notch service. What more can you ask for? I’ve been here twice now, once with a group of 7 and once with my spouse. This location is great for both! Pretty much any dish can be as hot as you wish by asking for mild, medium, hot, or Thai hot. I usually get the medium, but have seen people get the Thai hot. They lived. Again, this is some great food at reasonable prices. Go!

Boring, bland and a bit expensive. We’ll continue our search for our favorite Thai in the Springs.

Fabulous atmosphere and extensive menu. Glad they added this location down south. Curry is tasty, and brown rice is an option. Quality ingredients. I chose the red curry with kabocha squash — excellent! My only suggestion would be to not have the broth so thick. Staff is friendly and attentive.

I have never tasted a more delicious rice noodle– and I lived in Korea for a year! My friend, Morgan F(who recently wrote a review), told me about this restaurant and insisted I eat there. HOLYMOLY their food and service is amazing. I have been there 4 times in the past month, I can’t get enough! The atmosphere is tranquil and calming. As soon as you walk in the door you are greated with a warm smile. The hostesses are very kind and inviting. Once I was seated the waitress immediately came to our table with menus and took our drink order. My favorite dish, and the only thing I order(I know I should try something new, but I can’t…I want to, but I can’t, haha) is the Garlic Chicken Noodles and I ask for them to add extra garlic and shrimp. It is always cooked to perfection and never needs seasoning. The crab rangoons are scrumptious as well(for an appetizer). I recently tried the Thai Tea, I have never tasted a drink with such a rich creamy taste before. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again– I can’t get enough! Service is fast, the food is hot, and the wait staff is courteous and knowledgeable on all of the menu items. My friend and I were even recognized as «regulars» when ate there last week and at that point we had only come in there together 2 or 3 times. I believe I have 3 Unilocal check-ins here, that’s only the beginning, this is my favorite Colorado Springs restaurant and that number will only grow. If you’re in the mood for some delicious Thai food, this is the restaurant for you!
