McDonald’s

There have been a few occasions now where I will go to the drive through around midnight or so, and they always had an excuse to not work. «Sorry we aren’t accepting credit right now», or my favorite one that happened recently where they said they were only selling 10% of the menu. So I said ok… What would those items be? Well of course it was everything on the menu that NEVER gets ordered. I have never experienced this at any other McDonald’s so often in my life.

I lived in Columbia for over 20 years and have tried to pay patronage to this establishment because it was in my neighborhood. Unfortunately my experience at the drive-​through has been undeniably The worst experience I ever had at a fast food restaurant. I would say, and this is no stretch of my imagination, that 80% of my orders have been wrong. I would order a Coke and end up with an iced tea… Issues like that. Most of the time when I got home and checked my order, it would be wrong.
Many times, I would go there late at night and they had their sign stating that they were open, so I drove up and they either had an excuse that they were not open or that their credit card systems were down or their registers were down.
My worst experience is when I ordered oatmeal with nuts and as I was sitting at the drive-​through I saw the employee open up the bag of nuts with his teeth/​mouth. That’s when I decided that I was never coming back. If I ever was to go to McDonald’s it would be at the one in Riverhill where I never have any issues.

Like many McDonald’s in the US the service is poor, the dining area could use a cleaning, and the burgers are warm at best. To get hot fries it’s luck of timing or you ask for fresh fries. At this one I brought back a non — hot burger and was told they’d swap it but since they were warned by heat lamp the next one would be the same.
McDonald’s employees in Japan, Taiwan and China should come back and teach lackluster owners here what to do. There everything is the correct temperature and it’s clean.
I mostly just have coffee here and it’s hot. Breakfast is hot too.

Drive thru was efficient. No issues with my order and they even gave me condiments, utensils, and napkins without asking. That being said, it’s McDonald’s and not really one of my favorite places to eat. I did see signs advertising breakfast at this location though. Limited items, but it includes hash browns, pancakes, sausage, sausage mcmuffins, and sausage burritos!

Employees are either vacuous, lethargic, or surly. Some food was cold. All tables were filthy and I had to ask for extra napkins to clean one. It will do in a pinch, but if you’ve got options, take them.

As McDonald’s go this one is not so good. Tables are often filthy, and the employees don’t seem to care whether they give good service or not. It’s also one of those «nickle-​and-​dime the customer to death» locations that charge extra for things like dipping sauce, etc. and give you only one napkin with your order, forcing you to stand in line to beg for one or two more. My hunch is the owner of this franchise is REALLY CHEAP. They also won’t take any bill over a $ 20. I get the impression that they find their customers an annoyance based on the way you get treated.
You might check out the Chick-​Fill-​A across town. They have flowers on the tables (which are always clean), don’t charge for sauces, and actually have employees that walk around offering to get you re-​fills on your drinks.
It’s a shame you have to leave your own village center to get a decent fast food meal. This place is lousy.

I never eat here. I just use McDonalds restaurants for Red Box and to use their restrooms. On this chilly morning, their restroom was nice and toasty warm.

I only use the drive-​thru at this Mcds. The staff at the window as of late have much better attitudes, they at least greet you with a smile. The older light skin African American lady was very grumpy! Maybe they have her not working directly with the customers. The order is right 85% of the time, just check it before you drive away.

I can’t say that I’m very happy with this McDonalds. The franchise owner seems to not really care when it comes to the customers at his own establishment. The employees do not seem very happy to be there. The tables I’m not so clean.

Cheap and fast food. Food taste ok if you’re in a hurry. Make sure you check your food before you leave or drive off — they seem to mess up my orders often.

The Sunday manager on duty is really nice and the other staff members are too. Been here for breakfast a few times and always have friendly prompt service.
