Obsessed!!! By far the best nail salon I have ever been to. I’ve asked for designs at other salons only to be met with annoyed glares. Toria at Lacquer is so fun and creative and knows exactly what I want! Love the décor and atmosphere. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I absolutely love this place! The people are suuperr friendly, they have good service and I absolutely love the art on the walls that are from local artist, and it’s all for sale! My manicurist Erica, was super friendly and started some small talk, which I love because it reduces the awkward silence you can sometimes get at other salons. She also did an awesome job on my nails! This nail salon is very different, in a good way, from any other nail salon that I’ve been too. I would definitely recommend it to my friends!

I was really impressed with Lacquer! I initially scheduled a spray tan and a set of eyelash extensions, but due to a computer error, my technician was unable to do my eyelashes. SO, I ended up just getting the spray tan, but I was not disappointed! Toria was my technician and she did an incredible job! I had never had a spray tan before and she made me feel comfortable about the whole process. She explained everything and the process was very quick and easy. I’m very impressed with how natural the spray tan looks and how well it came out. I would highly recommend this salon for a spray tan!

Love this place, Lisa is great. ALL the staff is super nice, and very knowledgeable. Best thing is the atmosphere! It’s comfortable and confident in its own way. Lots of stuff to look at. Definitely will be my regular place.

Great experience. Love the décor! The staff was friendly and the ability to book online is always great. This was my first experience getting a manicure and yea, I’m 30. I’m a chronic nail biter but grew them out over 3 months in order to be able to get my first mani. I opted for a gel mani which is all the rage right now. I think I hyped it up too much in my head… my nails started peeling after about 10 days. I thought it would last a solid 3 weeks or more. Also, the gel also wasn’t applied all the way down to the nailbed, there was a gap. I don’t know if that’s normal or not. I peeled them off after two weeks when they began to look grungy even from afar. (I know you aren’t supposed to but it was surprisingly therapeutic!) I’ll probably be back, maybe try a pedicure. I think $ 40 every 1.5 — 2 weeks is a lot for nail upkeep though but the price seems about average.

I had always been a nails on the couch during Netflix girl. But then my friend got me hooked on Lacqueur and I can’t get enough! There isn’t a more chic salon in town. The décor is fresh and exciting and there is always something fun for your eye to land on while you’re getting services done there. They just expanded and offer ALL kids of salon services, but I personally have gone for gel mani/​gel art mani. If you want a Pinterest-​worthy design, you will not be disappointed. I recommend you go in with some ideas though. They can do anything! My manicures last for 3 weeks! I have gone to almost everyone who works there because I often schedule kind of last minute. Follow them on Instagram for awesome inspiration and the occasional deal.

My mom got me a gift card to Lacquer for Christmas and I was finally able to use it recently. The space is super cool and unique with lots of art work decorating the walls from local artists. All the girls who work there were really nice and professional. I got one of the spa pedicures and it was amazing! Typically when I go to nail salons they skimp on the massage aspect but not this place. I felt super relaxed after my visit, which was great considering Im in my third trimester of pregnancy. Not to mention, my polish (non gel) lasted for over 2 months! Ill definitely be a return customer. I also have a co-​worker who comes here for group manis/​pedis and she says they’re a blast.

My co-​worker recommended this place to me and I was not disappointed! I’ve never had a professional gel manicure and mine turned out great! I was in and out of Lacquer in less than 45 minutes. Even with the craziness of a marathon preventing me from getting there on time and parking right outside, it was still easy to find and the staff was understanding! I will for sure be back!

Oh. My God. First of all, the aesthetic in LACQUER is SOO GOOD. Girl gangs for life! Ok, onto the nails. I have never gotten a manicure done before so this was a really exciting and formative experience for me. I was easily able to schedule my appointment with Erica online, and I love that the scheduling system only shows times based on what service you select. Erica was super professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in answering all my questions and making my first manicure a great one! I will DEFINITELY be going back.

My personal experience with other nail salons were OK (at best) and I didn’t know how nice it could be.
Right off the bat, when you book your appointment from the web site (Vagaro), it very through, informative and very easy to use. Plus it has editable appointment reminders in your profile.
Every other nail salon I’ve been in, you immediately get knocked out by the smell. Not here, there are always burning scented candles (that smell heavenly. YOLO!) with the high ceilings to help circulate the air. Plus if the weather is nice, they’ll have the doors open.
You’re promptly welcomed when you enter. They get you checked in and offer you a wide variety of beverages and you can help your self to the large glass jars of snacks. They aren’t decoration. (Although the chocolate is left out right next to a non-​shaded window where it warms up and the chocolate is usually melted and hardened.)
Most of the staff I’ve been with is friendly, I miss the other girl that was usually at the front desk. Instead of individual tables, they have two long tables where they do the manicures. Its kinda tight but, cozy –right? The pedicure chairs are seated up against a wall and are more stylish than comfortable. They do have some fax-​fur throws on them, which are soft but not thick. If your looking forward to a massage chair while you get a pedicure, sorry they don’t have them. Which is fine, when I’d rather have higher quality of service than a vibrating chair LOL. They also have a hair salon, connected to the nail salon. Which is great to have everything under one roof. Very recently, they gave me a relaxing wash and stylish trim!!! Gorgeous!
The place has a very hip, chic, artiste look to it. It’s looks a bit busy but, thats what makes it so unique. Almost like a tattoo salon/​parlor. Parking isn’t that bad, the appointment site let you know where to park in that area. (Read the street signs.)
I’ve never seen any men as clients but, it would be so super if I did. Being gay, I felt no bias and I wasn’t bugged or felt like they were being nosey about my personal orientation. SUPER! Especially with the small talk they initiate. I actually found this place through a friend who happens to be sensitive about her nails and had recently left an other place that wasn’t quick to correct their mistakes or her concerns. She love-​love-​loves this place and wants to even buy some art that is for sale. YA! You could read their reviews on Vagaro but, there is wider variety of honest reviewers on Unilocal and you can also see happy, direct –not defensive, prompt, and apologetic/​sincere replies from the business directly. You don’t see that very much with other businesses on Unilocal.
Over all, it’s A-​OK price for their services.

Really liked my first experience at Lacquer! The online booking system was very easy to use. Although they don’t have the typical massage chairs, I can forgive that because the salon ONLY does regular & gel polish, so you avoid that awful noxious acrylic smell. Speaking of which, the space was so open & airy that you really didn’t experience any unpleasant chemical smells at all. The salon is super chic and well-​decorated — I posted a pic while I was seated in the waiting area and multiple friends commented on how cool the décor looked.
The quality of the service was good as well — thorough, not at all painful, and I could tell the products were quality. In fact, the polish on my regular manicure has lasted over a week which is rare for me! I had never seen that brand used in a salon before. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is price — it’s a little up there… but I’m finding out you get what you pay for. Definitely worth coming back.

Once you go to lacquer, you will never go anywhere else. You know how some nail salons make you feel like you’re on an assembly line and they just want you in and out? Every person at lacquer takes their time with each customer and will help you pick out colors, services, and they go the extra mile to make each service the best experience. Also, they have candy. Done.

I posted the pic of my nails with cloud and star painting. The theme really fit to my vacation. The painting is so detailed. And Julie is so professional. Overall, I love it.

Have some pretty damaged nails from going to the typical nail salons… And since moving to Columbus I’ve been looking for a salon EXACTLY LIKE THIS ONE! definitely the best nail salon I’ve been to in this city, and the salon it’s self is absolutely adorable and so trendy chic! Will define pry be back and encourage everyone else to try it out also!

I actually found Lacquer researching nail salons on Unilocal.I read the reviews and was pleasantly surprised and appreciate the business personally reply to their Unilocal reviews.
You can schedule your appointment on Unilocal or on their web site. On their site, which describes exactly what you getting and paying for. Also you can do «a la carte» to pick and choose what services you want. Picking the the day and time is wonderfully thought out and shows who is available for your appointment for the service you request. (There is app you can download to schedule future appointments.)
On the web site they do advise areas you can park, which are around the corner/​block area. But keep an eye out for the area parking signs.
As a First/​New customer the atmosphere is laid back/​relaxed, open, music isn’t blaring :), decorated with a stylish theme and with art from local artists. Very gracious selection of coffee, hot chocolate, tea, soda, chocolate/​candy and water. Inviting candle smell –instead of the strong and over powering smell of usual nail salon I’ve encountered. Usual magazines and book selection. (I would love to see a graphic novel selection added, maybe Shōjo manga comics?)
Warm greeting from the receptionist and from my technician. Easy to talk with my technician about the service I was getting and any question I had, without feeling silly/​dumb for asking. It felt like I was hanging out with a friend who was kind, genital and attention to detail to my nail manicure.
Great color and selection in nail polish.
Although I noticed the pedi chairs are not the massage chairs you find in other salons. Even though I didn’t have a pedi during my visit, the chairs looked comfortable and had a great view of the mounted TV screen.
*The only thing I would suggest (If they are open to it) is to let local artists submit art (via the web site) that could be selected in a monthly rotating spot in their business.

HUGE fan of Lacquer!!! I have seen Lisa and Julie for manicures and both do great work (have not ever gotten a pedi here). They have the best selection of gel colors of any salon I have ever been to. But what makes them extra special (for me at least) is the nail art! Julie and Lisa (and I’m sure everyone else) are so creative/​artistic/​talented I always leave loving my nails.
Atmosphere here is also great– cozy space, cool art, cute furniture, great complimentary drink selection too!

Lacquer has the best:
*Atmosphere: gorgeous, well curated décor and artwork. Coffee, tea, sodas, candy. Cute furniture. Warmth.
*Customer service: attentive, kind and talented young women. You end up feeling like you’re hanging out with your girlfriends in a swank living room.
*NAIL ART! I love following along with the associated Instagram accounts and daydreaming about my next mani. For a reasonable price, you can get an absolutely perfect gel or regular mani with art that lasts so much longer than anywhere else. I’ve had the longest running, unchipped!, gel manis of my life from Lacquer (3.5 weeks… I mean, there was grow-​out, but no chips!) Explore the stamp options. If you don’t have a specific vision in mind, these gals are great at suggestions and feeling out what nail mood you might be in.
*Polish selection: best, biggest. hands down.
*Booking: I can book on Unilocal!Easy peasy.
Side note: The pedis are great as well, and I confess, I do love a good massage chair, but although Lacquer does not have these, the standard pedicures are comfortable and long lasting. And you get to watch Netflix while basically sitting on a pedestal like a Queen.
Tip: Prepare to park around the corner, but heed the neighborhood parking signs :)

The best manicure & pedicure I have ever had in USA (don’t even mention Columbus). Julie did my gel nails so pretty! She was very very patient and nice, super creative. Emily did my pedi very well too, cannot like more. The whole store environment was cozy, comfy, loved the candle scent! Will definitely return here. Prices were not cheap but definitely worse the service. Love love love

Headed to Vegas and HAD to go see Lisa first! First time at her new salon, and I have to say– Awesome place and AWESOMER nails! Very well decorated and welcoming!

Love this place! I went to Lisa several times when she was at a previous spa and am so happy to see she is rocking her own new place! The space is really nice and inviting, it feels home-​y on the inside.
I had the pleasure of spending time with Emily, who was fantastic. She did a great job on my gel mani and regular pedi, and gave great input on colors, design, etc., and was very warm and open. It was clear she wanted me to like the final product, and I definitely did!

LACQUER Modern Nail Salon & Gallery is a gem! It’s conveniently located on W. 3^rd Avenue with ample parking on the street. When you walk in, it’s like entering your trendy friend’s living room — with black velvet chairs and white basins at the pedicure station and a comfy waiting area.
I got a pedicure and enjoyed my services with a glass of white wine. Julie did a great job and made the time fly with good conversation. The color options are high quality and super trendy.
It’s the perfect place to go for a girls night out or in preparation for a big event. I look forward to returning with friends and trying some of their other services including; manicure, permanent makeup, eyelash extensions, and waxing!
