If you like cooking like I do, great store to check out. From high end kitchen tools over simple utensils, knives or cutting boards to cooking books. Love to browse in their stores. Never been disappointed, all store associates are always friendly and helpful. Cannot ask for more.

Let me start out by saying — they’ve got the mulled apple cider in with samples now, baby!!! The aroma hits you as soon as you walk in and you go right for those little cups and the spigot. WS is the type of store that when they have a sale or goodies in the back clearance you can be a happy camper. Otherwise, a lot of their things are rather pricey but as the adage goes — ya gets what you pays for! And with WS you get good stuff! Even when I don’t have anything I want to buy I love browsing in here to fantasize about what amazing cooking I’m going to do one day with those awesome pots, pans, knives and other stuffs in there. And the staff has always been very helpful too.

If I ever get rich — like, REALLY, REALLY rich — I will have a shopping spree at Williams Sonoma. Admittedly, there are a lot of really good tools and finished food products you can afford here on a budget. The prices on things like OXO and Cuisinart stuff is even pretty close to places like Bed Bath and Beyond. But you don’t look at that. You look at the pure copper cookware, gleaming like the sun. You look at the 9 burner gas double oven and range. You drool over a set of knives that costs more than your first car. Even better, thanks to the classes they offer, they also teach you how to use the tools properly, and to make the best possible offerings with fresh ingredients. Even better, the staff teaching the classes are honest about«Hey, you can get this here, but you might find a better deal at Amazon.» I even saw a staff member sincerely pointing someone to the public library because the best cookbook for what they wanted wasn’t in print any more. Eye popping awesome stuff plus really great and considerate customer service? That’s a five star establishment in my eyes, every time.

I can’t help it… I love this place. It’s my ‘crack’!! Even if I’m not buying anything, I still have to go in to look. It’s not possible for me to walk by without going in to smell what they are cooking for the day, and see what new gadgets I can’t possibly live without. Yes, it is a pricey — they are very proud of their products; however, everything is top notch quality and will last you forever… except for the food stuff though… that usually gets consumed pretty quickly! They have some of the best sauces!!! I need to get a part-time job here so I can get an employee discount… or they could just pay me in goods… Anyway… LOVETHISPLACE

I hate what Williams Sonoma is and I feel like they are insanely over-priced but, I won’t go on a rant about that and how I believe everyone should just buy their kitchen goods at restaurant supply stores since this place is close to where I live and they have shiny copper pots inside. I can’t afford copper cook-ware right now but, I can at least go in to Williams Sonoma without having to take a long trek elsewhere and look longingly at the copper while fantasizing about owning some. Someday when and if I ever save enough money made from cooking and freelance writing I will be buying copper cook-ware(probably from somewhere else) and I will take care of them like children. This place does have nice things inside, don’t get me wrong about that but, it’s the ridiculous prices and the frou-frou atmosphere that gets to me personally and keeps me from being a loyal patron.

I really need more money. I find at least 10 things that I NEED every time I come here. NEED. Like an avocado slicer. A knife is just not good enough anymore. Or the filled pancake pan. Every morning should start with those! You think I’m joking? Nope. If I could, I would buy everything in the store, in red, to coordinate with my imaginary kitchen. And the dish soap and counter spray so that everything would smell pretty too(the winter scents are the best!). They also have free demonstrations that you can find on their website to learn how to use all these gadgets because frankly, I’m not so sure how to use a shrimp deveiner…

I ran in on Black Friday to pick up a housewarming present for a friend. They were very busy, but they did have plenty of help on the floor. I found what I needed and had a lady helping me at the register within 10 minutes… but gift wrapping was horribly backed up. You’d think they would have brought in more people to wrap. Since I didn’t want to wait the 60 minutes for that, they did give me a W-S box to put it in. If you have time to wait, do let them wrap. They do a great job! I’m always impressed with the staff in W-S stores, and this one was no different. They do a good job bringing in people who actually care.

I know. I know. William Sonoma is a massive corporate beast, but I love this culinary store regardless. I feel obliged to include it partly because there are only two locations in Columbus(the other being at Polaris Mall) but mostly, because of its incredible, no-questions-asked– return policy and lifetime warranty. In this day and age, it is difficult to find companies that will stand so whole-heartedly behind their products and William Sonoma does. Despite having high-end prices, you certainly get what you pay for here. William Sonoma carries the very best lines of cookware(All-Clad, Calphalon, Le Creuset, Mauviel), knives(Henckle, Wusthoff, Shun), Provencal linens, Emile Henry bakeware, Apilco porcelain, small kitchen electrics(KitchenAid, Cuisinart, etc) and shelves full of unneccesary, but very cool, kitchen gadgets. If you can’t find something you need in the store, chances are it is carried in the catalogue, online or they can special order it. This particular location was one of the original storefronts back when Easton was being developed about 10 or 12 years ago. The store is quite a bit bigger than the Polaris William Sonoma and is usually much busier. The service is good and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve always had great shopping experiences here and will most likely continue to blow entire paychecks at William Sonoma.
