Bojangles

Cold fries, cold and dried out chicken. It’s pitiful. I have complained about the food and service from this particular restaurant in the past, but management never responded. We decided to give it one more chance, but that was a big mistake. Too bad… especially since Bojangles now has serious competition in this area from a brand new Popeye’s!

If you get past the service complaints here — to which I have no experience and can offer no comment — this place is as good as fast food places get.
Bojangles mainly serves two things: fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits. Both are absolutely excellent. The buttermilk biscuits are really the winner, as they are soft, buttery, and fluffy beyond compare. The sausage biscuits are probably the best thing on the menu. The fried chicken is also good, but honestly sometimes is a bit difficult — like any fried chicken, I can’t exactly shake the impression that the meat is a bit expensive and hard-​to-​come-​by.
The sweet tea here is also excellent, should you have a desire for something ultra-​sugary.
Note that this place is SWAMPED by seniors on a regular basis, especially on weekends.
I can’t say this is the best food I’ve ever eaten — far from it — but for the cost, convenience, and competition, it’s pretty awesome.

I have been to this bojangles many times but the last 6 months have been aweful. The people refuse to act as though they want to work let alone give good service. The food is usually cold and the order has almost always been wrong.
When I told the man at the drive thru my order was wrong he laughed about it. I don’t know when good customer service left this place but they need a serious reality check. I will choose a different restaurant because I will no longer spend my hard earned money at this one.

Worse BJ ever!!! Horrible cashier that can’t afford a damn smile for the customer!!! The only Bojo that don’t accept Discover, and don’t sell Mac and cheese before 10am!

Better than your average KFC competitor. Good crispy chicken and biscuits were light and fluffy and not greasy. We were driving through the area looking for a BBQ place but being a Sunday, that wasn’t an option. This was pleasantly better than expected for a fast food chain. If we had Bojangles in Houston, I would go again.
