We LOVE tris place! The owners treat you like family, and the hamburger buns are to die for! I think these are my favorite burgers by far! The fries are yummy! My kids really like their chicken nuggets.

Love the burgers! Fresh and full of flavor, just sensational local restaurant. The French fries are great and not at all greasy. But if your not in the mood for a burger there are other choices. You can order ahead and pick up too. It such a great option to fast food chains, plus you’re helping to support local businesses.

Great tasting burger. Had the bacon cheeseburger and enjoyed it. Probably the best burger joint in Converse. Friendly wait staff.

Did not live up to the hype I was expecting. Chili fries barely had one spoonful of chili.

It’s been a little over a year since I’ve been here then today I was craving a Philly cheese steak sandwich and rocket didn’t disappoint. The manager greeted me right as I walked in and offered a few suggestions. I asked for a Philly cheese steak that was well carmelized with extra mayo. I further ask for some au jus on the side because I like to dip all my long sandwiches. The French bread was so fresh, Light and Airy. It was perfectly toasted and held up well to that jus. The steak was tender and flavorful and the fries were hot. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to you by the manager. The place was empty and quiet and I chose a corner table, so that I could pig on my dipped sandwich in sloppy peace. It was a great 30 minutes here today, and I’ll definitely be back soon to try a rocket burger.

Just discover this place about 2 weeks ago and I was blown away! The burgers are freekin good! They have a great variety for anyone in the family. I almost ordered a second one to take home. I ordered my son chicken tenders they were hand made very tastie. They could upgrade their fries to handcut and add onion rings to the menu. But other than that this place rocks!

I decided to try a new meal, the New York pastrami sandwich and it was a great hot sandwich.

Great Burgers, Love the buns they use! not a fast food restaurant, you will have to wait, but not to bad, actually pretty quick and worth the wait. Very friendly staff and a clean place, important to me.

Delicious burgers and hot dogs! Fast service, especially during lunch. That is important for my job. I wish the place was bigger, but they have outdoor seating for the warmer days. Close to Judson HS, so traffic might be a hindrance at different times of the day.

It’s a simple, clean place doing food and service the right way! The Cheazzy burger was excellent. The sourdough bun is good enough to eat by itself, and the fries were perfectly done(light and fluffy on the inside, crisp on the outside). I can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!

I love this place. I love the people who work their and the food they make. I’ve tried every single thing on the menu and not one thing wasn’t fantastic. I would go to them every lunch if I had the money. I recommend this place!

This is my first visit but definitely not my last. I had carry out via the drive through. My purchase today was the steak burger, fries with cheese and bacon and a root beer. The steak burger was damn tasty and the grilled onions it came with was chopped just big enough so that they complimented the burger and didn’t over power it in any way. I like that they can make fries almost any way you want them. The only ding I have is that they only have one size cup for soda. The fries survived a 25 minute ride home, I was surprised, but I’m assuming the melted cheese helped. Again, I will definitely be back.

Great made fresh to order food. Best Rueben we’ve ever had. The sauerkraut & pastrami had their own individual tastes without missing a taste. The New York Pastrami was so light & fresh too. They had fresh made lemonade that was just a tad too sweet for me(still very refreshing), but my husband loved it.

Great food! The wait time from ordering to eating was fast. The owner(I assume) was friendly and the food was good. Better than chain food that’s for sure. The only downside is the parking is a little weird and there wasn’t really a table large enough to accommodate my family. We fed 7 for $ 40. I’m impressed!

Rocket’s Feed is where it’s at when it comes to serving big fat hot dogs! Whenever I go to a burger joint I order hot dogs, I like burgers but not as much as I like dem big dogs. At Rocket’s Feed you can find a sausage like frank that’ll take you back to a carnie filled fair where they didn’t skimp on the wiener. The drink and fries are simply a nice perk. Fries are regular old fashioned style that keep it real, you can choose between chips or a salad. Burgers are decent, the sweet sourdough buns are out of this world good but the patty is pretty thin. Their Cheazzy burger is always a favorite, it comes with two patties and resembles a fresh take on McDonald’s double cheeseburger. What I love most about Rocket’s Feed is their customer service, this is a sweet family run establishment. The owner and staff make their rounds after food has been served and offer polite conversation and kindly refill drinks, love this! Also, it doesn’t hurt that they have such awesome prices! Go get you a dog!

I had Burger King last week. It tasted like a cardboard box. The lettuce tasted like wilted paper, the tomato was a mushed red blob, the meat and the bun essentially combined to form a guilt filled mass of what some people call food.(Ok, I’m one of those ‘some people’…sometimes). To fix this mistake in life, I give you Rocket’s Feed. I called in an order to Rocket’s Feed because sometimes the wait can be long. I asked if they have a mushroom Swiss burger on the menu, they don’t, but she said they could make it. Yesssssss! She put the biggest fat kid smile on my face. The buns are kind of sweet and definitely add to the goodness of their burgers. There were real grilled onions, real sautéed mushrooms, real cheese and real ‘merican meat. Way to find the yin to my Burger King yang.

My husband & I have been on a burger kick recently so of course we wanted to give this joint a try. We came around 8 pm one night and was told that they are only doing take out. Ummm… ok…but you aren’t closing for another hour. What gives? Was told that they wanted to clean up and close up early because of the rain. Ok… We were hungry and we were already there. So we ordered a simple cheeseburger to go with chips as our side(from our choice of chips, salad, or fries). The burger was decent enough that I made another trip there when I was out running errands. This time I got the burger with pastrami & chili and fries as my side. I decided to get it to go because there was no one else in the restaurant at the time. It was an off hour. Plus, I live close by. The fries were just ok. However, the pastrami & chili overwhelmed the burger. I’d probably stick to the simple burger next time. All in all, a decent middle of the road burger.

I’m upping a star, agreeing with Christa L. — this is the best burger in Converse. I’ve been back several times, and the bottom line is these are dang tasty burgers you just can’t get anywhere else. I still haven’t tried the Rocket Burger, despite my dude co-worker’s urgings. I’m stuck on the Cheazzy, Jalapeño, and Steak burgers; I bounce back and forth. The flavors they’re creating are… magical. That’s the main event here. The fries are just good standard extras, who do their job but steal none of the show. The stars are the mingled flavor combinations these nice folks do up just right between their sweet sourdough buns. I doubt I could re-create them at home if I tried. Someday I might try a dog, a chicken sandwich, or their tasty-sounding Sirloin Ciabatta… maybe. Those damn burgers sing a strong siren song.
