Always yummy and fresh! Love supporting our local restaurants. Service could improve a little.

Gross. All of the fish on my sushi was too warm and too soft. The rice had a terrible texture and my spicy tuna and California rolls were much too big. I was choking on the rolls. I walked out without having finished everything on my plate.

Good food and service.
I usually go for lunch, and always trying a different thing.
The udon soup is good and comes really hot.
The bento combos are also good option, well served

Sushi was very fresh, large portions for the money, great service. Will definitely make this a weekly lunch stop.

Good, fresh, friendly, cheap and a nice atmosphere. I have nothing bad to say and will be back on the regular.

Got some quick sushi to go. Awesome food! The size of the rolls were extra large. Very unique types of sushi I will definitely be going back.

This place has definitely lost its touch. We decided to grab some sushi here tonight. For starters we wanted dumplings with Shrimp and ended up with beef. So our rolls came out way before the dumplings so it wasn’t much of an appetizer. The shrimp dumplings weren’t any better than the beef. It looked like processed shrimps and it was flavorless. I should have taken a picture of it. Moving on we had the volcano roll, lady bug, and another roll that was spicy and had a long name to it. Well the last roll was okay. Lady bug was good because it had a lot of fish since it was a riceless roll. The volcano was okay… The crawfish was seasoned with too much Cajun spice which made the whole dish off balance. Although the customer service was good because they removed the dumplings from the bill but I just can’t let that justify the lack in flavor of the food

Love this place If you are looking for good sushi at an excellent price you have got to try this place! It seriously not a super fancy upscale sushi bar, just a place to sit down and enjoy delicious sushi.

Excellent specialty rolls and traditional rolls. Service was a team effort, which means we never had to wait for anything. Friendly staff. All of the fish tasted fresh and had a great texture. The prices were comparable to every other sushi place. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Great ambiance while not pretentious.
Only cons: We weren’t crazy about the fried dumplings appetizer and the seaweed was a bit on the gummy/​chewy side.

One of the best sushi restaurants that I have had outside of the Gulf Coast. Ingredients were incredibly fresh and of quality, the service was great and friendly, and the rolls were beautifully crafted, unique, and delicious.
I had two rolls this time, the Ebb Ebb and hot jalapeño. Both had beautiful arrangements and were full of ingredients and sauces that burst with flavor. They didn’t have enough contrasting ingredients, though.
The service was friendly and attentive, but when I found my mouth burning from the fresh jalapeños, I was fresh out of sweet tea and no waiter to be found. I made it through the tears by engulfing some ginger, but would have rather had lemon and sweet tea soothing my dangerous roll.
All in all, a wonderful experience. The reason I wouldn’t give it a five? Not enough unique rolls, the service was just not attentive enough, and the flavors of the rolls were just about to the GREAT side.

I went there for lunch with my department and ordered the sashimi bento box, which I was not too fond of. I think sashimi was sliced too thick, which made it not enjoyable. I avoided the place and 6 months later I decided to order with my co-​workers the bugogi bento box. I thought it was great until I found saran wrap in my bugogi. I threw away my lunch. I wasn’t ready for anymore surprises for the amount of money that I paid. Good luck

You know service is good when the owner is behind the sushi bar working! This isn’t your go to be seen sushi shop. It’s just dang good. Fantastic time sitting at the bar and joking with the chefs. Even nice enough to throw some samples your way!

I’ve only been here twice and both times it was for take-​out. Its my new random grub food place. My wife and I always get the stone bowl. It is a good bargain for your buck. Comes with chopped bell peppers, onions, carrots, etc, etc. The perfect presentation for a fried rice bowl, basically. You don’t see any of the presentation when you do carry-​out. They know how to pack their food (which is more important than you know). I wanna try to dine in once and have their sushi. Whenever I go it seems like the sushi would be pretty delicious. But if you are just looking for a place to get an above average fried rice bowl you could do worse than Zena Sushi.

Very nice staff and great food. Right now they give a free beer, but you better hurry! On the border roll is awesome! I need to try the noodle dishes.

This has quickly become a favorite of mine and my husbands. We both love sushi and these guys do a good job.
I’ve been here for lunch and the Bento Box is fantastic. I think it changes but there’s a few small rolls and the price is great.
When I get just rolls I love their Zena roll and spicy shrimp roll. My husband loves their Alaskan roll.
The atmosphere is typical to what you’d expect of a small, local sushi establishment. It’s not fancy and the décor isn’t the best, but it’s clean and the service is great. I’ve never had a negative experience.

Fantastic Sushi rolls in a comfortable setting. Service is welcoming and efficient.
Their food is better and their rolls are bigger than most of the other sushi spots I’ve been to. Worth a visit to Coppell.

I’m definitely digging this spot for sushi in my hood! I came here in the evening and sat at the sushi bar. The service was great and my waitress was very sweet. I ordered the Call Me Devil roll and an order of spicy tuna rolls. Also… hello $ 3 sake! Hit the spot. They have flavored ones for a little extra but go with the plain. Lots of variety on the menu as well. I can’t wait to try one of the hot stone bowls next!

Not very fresh and the quality of the fish seemed lower. Service was awkward and I didn’t finish my meal. This place is not adding up the rating that it shows. Can I get a do-​over and go somewhere else?

I love me some SUSHI and experiencing the art that goes along with it. This is one of the smallest yet more modest sushi places I enjoy. Yes it’s strip mall cheeky. I don’t mind it’s Coppell WTF do you expect My” East Coast Fashion” and «Vodka Passion» gets me the red scarlet letter on my sleeve any who.
For starters the white fish is incredibly fresh and light with a soft texture. They have a bar but nothing to write home about, sake is my go to drink here (Duhhhhh) Sashimi I did that, Lobster roll, that too, Hot tea oh yeah, Shrimp tempura tapped that, avocado bombs, devoured that, what I find myself repeating in front of me the Ahi Tuna Tower, 3 different kinds of caviar, crab louie and the sauces they decorate the plate with keep me coming back weekly. Probably your best deal is hitting this place up for lunch and order one of the many bento boxes. Miso soup, Salad with house dressing, steamed rice, fried wonton, and what ever you decide to get for the main course. So all ya’ll that work over in those many headquarter buildings I want to see you here next time I dine. Yes Mohawk industries, Samsung, Lucent I am pointing at you… Support these guys (it’s my favorite place in Coppell)
This place is underrated, Or maybe the fine people of Coppell just don’t get it. Throw some chicken tenders on the menu you will be packed! Maybe a bunko game in the corner or a cross on the wall.
I highly highly highly recommend here. Also I ordered some lobster rolls for a dinner party (Zena loaned me a boat to display it) I love these guys
I wish I could be there marketing girl, I would totally pimp them out and get them a bartender with a swanky cocktail list and DJ on the weekends and some more lights def more lights.
Side note– they shut down shop from 2 – 5 P.M.
PS. I am not player hating on Coppell just stating the facts
