The employees were extremely nice. The food was good. Great customer service will always make ones expedience great. It’s not huge inside but very spacious in a comforting way. I would go back if I’m ever in the area. The pigsty fries are a must try. I ordered them without bacon and they didn’t disappoint. My daughter wouldn’t eat the loaded fries so they put a small amount of regular fries in the side for her. I though that was nice because she talked about the fried all the way home.

SOOVERPRICED! A SIDE of sweet potato fries is 6.50 and a burger is 7.50…something is wrong with that detail. Went here and it was $ 35 for two burgers, fries, and beers… And the food was definitely not worth it. Couldn’t even eat my burger because the bun fell apart. The Pig Sty fries were alright, but if people on here are comparing them to In N Out animal style fries, they are so wrong. Will not be coming back. I would rather go across the stress to The Counter because for the same amount of money, I could get a burger that I can actually eat and a beer on tap. Staff was friendly and helpful!

After reading the reviews, my husband and I decided to give this spot a try. He ordered the spicy grinder and I just got a regular cheeseburger. We shared the pig sty fries, which were amazing, I couldn’t stop eating them! We both enjoyed our food, the burgers were cooked perfectly and the buns are so buttery, they melt in your mouth. The fries had the perfect amount of cheese, bacon, and avocado. The service was excellent. The manager took our order and was super positive. He kept checking to make sure we were happy with everything. I would definitely come back!

Friendly and interesting staff. All ingredients(beef, cheese, bread, fries and toppings) were all of high quality. None were overly salty or greasy. A good, quality lean burger and fries.

My coworker and I decided to try a new place for lunch. After looking on Unilocal,I can across this place and was totally excited to try it out and it did not disappoint. The guy that helped us, David was awesome. We ordered the pig sty fries, pig sty burger and the spicy grinder. My spicy grinder was delicious and cooked perfectly. The pig sty fries were also amazing, and I’m not a huge bacon fan! We will definitely come back again and try some of the other menu items! Great place, good vibe, great service, and the food was delicious. Definitely glad I found this place!

The pig-sty fries were amazing, I added jalapeños w/no bacon. They taste similar to IN N OUT animal fries but way better and a bigger portion. My food was hot, fresh, and filling. I definitely will be going back to try their veggie patty.

Stopped by here for dinner and glad I did. Walked in and was greeted by David. Super polite, great customer service. Saw that it was our first time eating here and gave us the low down of the off the menu items. Took him time and described what was in it and gave us recommendations as to what first timers should try. We went with it and man… that was bomb! So we got the cheese burgers, everything with grilled onions. I had bacon added to mine. The buns were the perfect amount and soft. Not too much breading if you know what I mean. It was awesome. Parties were seasoned well. Pickles weren’t too acidic. Grilled onions were still onions… unlike other places that over-grill, grilled onions. The burger was actually really good. Best I’ve had in a while. The star of my meal were the pig-sty fries. The pig-sty fries were simply heavenly. Not a thing I can complain about. Seriously. It was a hefty sized serving. Fries were beer battered. Drenched with thousand island type sauce with grilled onions, bacon, avocado,…I don’t know what else… Crack possibly cause damn, I think I’m addicted. David, our cashier/server, described it as animal style fries on steroids. Yea they were! And better! When he placed the plate of fries on the table, the aroma just hits you. As soon as you dig in, piping hot fries covered with heavenly goodness… it’s rare to get piping hot fries, so when I actually get it, it’s an extra treat for me. Haha, what a fat ass. I know that’s what you’re thinking. But seriously, I spent like most of my time oink-king out on the pig-sty fries. When I finally got to my burger, the burger wasn’t that hot anymore. Totally my fault… the fries were do damn good! Yea, pig-sty fries are the way to go. Definitely going back. Next time, just the cheeseburger with no add ons… I’ll top my burger off with pig-sty fries. Oh yea! Makes my mouth water! Oh, and David is awesome. We forgot to order drinks and he gave us fountain drinks on the house cause we were first time visitors. That was very nice of him and he seriously didn’t have to do it. But because he did so, he just gained some more loyal customers!

One the BEST burger restaurants ever!!! I had the spicy grind burger which is not on their actual menus but it’s on their secret menu I think. I saw it on Unilocal here so I had to order it. I love spicy foods and this did not disappoint! It’s spicy and the meat is cooked to perfection. Everything is this burger made it one of the best I’ve ever had. Its really comparable to In-N-Out. The pigsty fries are to die for! It tastes like animal style fries at In-N-Out but turned up 100 notches. There’s also avocado, peppers, grilled onions, and thick cuts of red onions. The fries themselves are crispy despite being drenched in the sauce. I think I love these fries more than animal style ones. They just have something extra and are much crispier. There’s no way you can pass up a stop at Grinderz!!!

Best burger I’ve ever had, my girlfriend and I have been here 3 times in 2 weeks and this place isn’t anywhere close to either of us. We go out of our way for grinderz and we would go further still! Keep it up Ryan and all the rest of the staff!

I am a sucker for burgers, so I was pretty stoked to find this place on Unilocal with such awesome reviews. I came here with the bf on a Friday night and ordered a cheeseburger and the pigsty fries. Sooooooo, the pig sty fries were pretty much amazing. I love the animal style fries at In n Out but these fries easily beat them by miles and miles and MILES of ooey gooey cheesy bacon goodness. Seriously. So bomb. I was honestly not a big fan of the cheeseburger. You could get a double double at in n out and it would be cheaper and taste way better. It was definitely a bit disappointing.

Tried this location because I’ve already been to the hidden original in Huntington Beach and know of course, they are bomb! Best dam cheap burgers in OC(around $ 4-$ 6). Juicy ass beef patties with yummy ingredients, all between brioche buns. What… there’s also a hidden menu?! It’s really custom creation stuff like the Pigsty Double Cheese Burger(bacon, cheese, avocado, thousand island, fries, grilled onions), Turkey Western Burger(cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce, onion rings), Bacon Ranch Avocado Jalapeño Burger with Pepper Jack cheese, and more. They are creations just made up by customers or whoever and you can build your own too with the ingredients available. I got the Pigsty Double Cheese Burger one and it was very filling and delicious — think In-N-Out animal fries and burger in one, but way way better! :) Ryan, the owner is actually my coworker Ashley’s friend. I told her to tell him to stay open later and maybe deliver too… hint hint ;)

I’ve had this place bookmarked for awhile, and we finally got the chance to go recently. It definitely lived up to high rating! Flavor-wise, it was all there, everything tasted so good! We got the Double Cheese Burger with Pepper-jack Cheese, Turkey Burger with Pepper-jack cheese, and the 50⁄50 Basket of Beer-Battered Fries and Onion Rings. I really wanted to love it enough to come back, but unfortunately, the food’s quality isn’t what I was hoping for, more organic/natural-based. So that’s the only reason why I probably won’t be back. Everything was definitely great, friendly staff, fair pricing, and good-tasting food. Parking wasn’t so bad when we went on a Sunday afternoon. I’ve driven by on a weekday around 5pm, and the parking lot was pretty packed. It’s kind of a smaller lot, so it might be hard to find parking during peak hours. All in all, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for some good-tasting burgers and fries. If you’re looking for a more organic/natural-based establishment, this will not be the place for you.

We finally stopped by Grinderz second and newest location a few weeks ago, and I am happy that we did. Although farther, we wanted to check it out. It is located in a small plaza where Bomb Burger used to be. Parking is scarce, so if it does not kill you to walk a little bit, I would recommend parking at one of the businesses across the street. We decided to park at Ralphs and cross the street. We were able to meet one of the owners, Dan. We had met Ryan back when the HB location was brand new. Both of these guys are awesome and take pride in their business and care about their customers. I was happy to be able to meet Dan now, and he was nothing but great to us. We decided to go completely new on this visit. Normally I always get the regular burger combo with fries and I add avocado. My husband does the same thing but adds bacon instead of avocado, and occasionally gets the onion rings. This time I went and tried their turkey burger, and I went ahead and added the American cheese this time. Turkey burgers are a hit or miss for me. Either they are good or they stink. Luckily this one was a win in my book. I decided to go big this time and tried out the pig sty fries! Wow! I already love their fries there, and this one is like the animal style fries at In N Out but with bacon and avocado added as well! Delicious. Be warned, the portion of this is huge. It could be your whole meal without a burger. My husband decided to try one of their newer«secret» items per Dan’s recommendation. It was the Sriracha mayo chicken sandwich. I couldn’t even tell you what all is in it, I forgot unfortunately. I do believe it does involve pepper jack cheese though. My husband left it on there even though he is not a fan of cheese on sandwiches. It was a big win in his book, even with the cheese! He got the half onion rings/half fry side option. There are not a ton of seats but we had no issues when we went. There is also seating outside within the plaza. The staff here is great. They are friendly, check on you, and are even eager to pick up your trash when you are done! It does not kill me to throw my stuff away but the generous service is greatly appreciated. This was a great visit with yummy food. I hope to run into Dan again on other visits to either location.

HELLYEAH! FiRE! They really got a gold mine here! Their food is outstanding! It seems it is inspired by in-n-out but I think I’m going to say it is better! O. O The people are very friendly and the owner kindly took my order. Bomb food, order as many patties you want! But don’t forget to get the pigsty!(mix it up yo) Wish I lived near but can’t wait for the beer to be there! Enjoy! Thanks Grinderz!

O.M.F.G… Those were the first words to come out of my mouth after trying the spicy grind double cheese burger. Let’s rewind. So my husband and I were around Costa Mesa and we were trying to figure out where to have lunch… we drove by halal guys since they just opened and saw the line and said F THATSH*T so I remembered I’ve been wanting to try Grinderz ever since Ryan C. posted a photo on the Unilocal OCIG page. We walk in around 1:30 and at first I was going to order the double cheese burger and as I was doing so my husband was like wait!!! You will probably enjoy this better and he showed me the *ahhhh heaven music* spicy grind double cheese burger. I ordered that with fries and my husband got the pigsty burger. As we sat down to wait for the food I thought«shit I forgot to ask for my fries well done… I hate soggy fries» but come to find out Grinderz automatically has crispy fries!!! Our food came out within 5 minutes and my husband and I shared our burgers and the first we tried was the spicy grind double cheese burger. As I stated before O.M.F.G. were the first words to come out of my mouth after biting into this delicious, spicy, decadent, amazing f**king burger. It was that good. Seriously. It was two pieces of amazing beef patties & two slices of pepper jack cheese which was melted perfectly with chipotle mayo, lettuce, tomatoes all between a soft delicious potato bun. Then we tried the pigsty burger and it was good… but mine was WAY better. The pigsty had 2 patties, american cheese, fries, avocado and a special sauce(reminded me of in-n-out spread). I really enjoy spicy food so I have a bias towards the two but I devoured that burger so fast I basically swallowed it lol. The fries were PERFECT they were the best fries I’ve ever had. Probably because it was beer battered fries :) I would HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone and anyone who loves burgers. If you don’t eat red meat there’s also some other options: turkey burger, chicken burger & veggie burger. So please… come check them out in either Costa Mesa or Huntington Beach and indulge in this amazing decadent burger.

I ordered the double cheeseburger and a half side of onion rings. The burger was $ 5.50 and the side of onion rings were a little over $ 2.00. The double cheeseburger — The burger patty had a slight, grilled and charred flavor but no distinct beef flavor. Kind of a blah tasting patty. As you can see from my photo, the burger a fairly good size. The bun was moist and held up to the rest of the burger. There was a perfect portion of accompanying vegetables that seemed fresh. This burger is definitely better than 5 Guys and probably a little better than In N Out. But, it was average overall. The onion rings — After reading Unilocal reviews about this place consistently favorably reviewing the onion rings, I had to try them. And, yes, the onion rings were some of the best that I have had. They had a nice, light and crispy crust with moist onion inside. Overall, though, I was not wowed because the burger patty was lackluster.

I stopped into Grinderz for a pre-workout«snack.» And by snack, I mean a full-on double patty with bacon, cheese, avocado, french fries(in the burger!), and thousand island dressing. The burger is solid and perfectly stacked. I tend to eat my burgers with a fork and knife which draws a lot of criticism sometimes, but I feel that I can savor the most flavor that way and not have to worry about holding everything in place. I love their buns — they remind me of Shake Shack’s potato buns. Because I was trying to be a good boy, I didn’t order any fries, but they look delish. I think another pre-workout Grinderz visit is in order! Take that Jillian Michaels.
