Love this place. The sushi is always super fresh and the staff are friendly and helpful. My go to roll is the Yellowstone Roll, which is AMAZING!

My new favorite sushi spot that’s comparable to my favorite places in NYC. So hard to find quality this great nowadays. You really can’t judge every restaurant by their exterior and/or location always. Some places spend too much money on the appearance and not enough on the food quality – not this place though – still clean and comfortable nonetheless. I highly recommend it!

This place has good food. The food is cooked well and tasted even better. Staff is very very friendly. Only reason there not 5 stars is when I order take out I have to make sure the order is right. I have gotten the wrong order before. So then I have to trek back to exchange. They were quick to fix my order which was nice and they were very apologetic. Sushi is also very fresh and Yummy!

Really good sushi in Croton. A long time fan of this place. Food and service are really solid. We enjoy the sushi. Always fresh and tasty. We are regulars and only drawback is that the sushi choices are all pretty standard. Nothing really unusual stands out. Fried rice is delicious and when we do hibachi they always make it fun for the kids.

Very friendly and fast service! They have really good lunch deals. Everything is fresh and delicious. I’ve had their sushi and chicken teriyaki. You can’t go wrong with this place

Since discovering this place, I’ve been a repeat customer, ordering at least a couple times a month. I also use their menu for lunch for clients/guest at work and they have yet to disappoint. Sometimes Samurai cannot always deliver but since they are only 5 minutes down the road its not a big deal. The hibachi tables and can accomodate pretty large parties along with a semi private party room in back, and the ambience is chill but snazzy. Yep, snazzy. I’ve had an abundance of items off the menu from the spicy tuna avocado bowl app(a personal fav) to the noodle soups and fried rice to the best part, the sushi and sashimi! I have yet to get fish from here that I did not like or was off in flavor. I truly do think they use the best fish around. The owner Spring is super friendly and helpful in setting up an event or just picking something tasty. I go out of my way to keep eating here and I crave their sushi on a near daily basis! Fav things: spicy tuna avocado bowl, satay chicken, Julia roll & diamond roll, spicy scallop & kamikaze roll

Great local place. I prefer to eat in than take out. Great service and the food never disappoints.

This is one of my two favorite Japanese restaurants in the area. Their sushi is high-grade and FRESH. I’ve yet to have a bad meal there, and I go often. Spring and Tony are the owners and they make me feel like family every time I walk in the door. The atmosphere is soothing and pleasant, but the hibachi area can get a little noisy. However, I’ve been guilty of having too much fun at the hibachi table, so I overlook that one drawback.

Samurai is a relatively small sushi and habachi restaurant. It has it’s own parking lot. My wife and are regulars for lunch and an occasional dinner. We have always been satisfied by both the food and the service. On a scale of 1 to 10 of Japanese resturants I would rate it 9. Much higher than expected for an ethnic eatery in a small riverside town. The food is excellent if you allow enough time for preparation. Like ANY restaurant coming here after a big local event is a gamble. My wife and I have traveled extensivly and have eaten in the best ethnic restaurants at home and abroad. Much of this was business travel so expense was not a factor. While Samurai is not quite in the Michlin 4 star league as far as location and décor goes, the food ranks right up there. And isn’t food what you go to a restaurant for?
