Smashburger

Classic smash burger and smash fries were Awesome!!! My daughter had the grill cheese with no complaints… Also the staff were very helpful. We will definitely return for more Smash Goooodddnesss…

I went in expecting today to be a cheat day… but found their Baja cobb salad! It was really good with fresh baby spring salad and tomatoes jalepenos and guacamole. I ravished it without dressing which I finally tried on the last five bites! I’m going to Smashburger for salad again!!! And if they are this good with the greens I’ll be back next cheat day!!!

Clean place & fast service. They got my order wrong the first time but quickly fixed the mistake. Overall good experience. The grilled chicken spicy jalapeño baja was delicious!

So I only write reviews for places I’ve never been to. This place was great. I like their quality. Had a Bacon Cheeseburger. I don’t care too much for the fries cause they are skinny. My wife feels the same, but overall this is a better choice than some other burger places because of quality and ingredients being more on the healthy side. And the staff was superb in responding to my sons allergies to certain food. I would go here again. Prices are better than fair. $ 23 for 4 of us. And we all ate.

I don’t get it. These burgers are bad. Compared to a 5 Guys burger. 5 Guys is 10 times better. My burger was dry, fries cold. I think it was precooked. Put in a pan and heated up when ordered. Serious integration after. Everybody has different taste. Not for me.

I really thought I had written a smashburger grade at some point, so to this place I apologise in holding off on the stars, which you mightily deserve!
Every aspect of a good business is aced by nearly all the smashburgers I’ve visited. From service (especially) to food (epically) to style (modern, welcoming and fun). The flattened (smashed) meat is brilliant as it allows much more flavour than an ordinary patty. They hand tenderise the meat with a mallet and the flattened surface allows quicker, more even browning over a shorter time, which enhances the meat’s flavour, keeps more juices in (when smashed like they do in first 60secs), softens the meat by loosening the fibers and therefore makes a much tastier product. Pair that with premium ingredients like their egg bun and very fresh lettuce. I love their buffalo version with the franks red hot and blue cheese, just outstanding flavours together. One of the tastiest burgers I can think of, and unique with the smashed/​tenderised meat.
The fries are my crack though. Seriously, are there better fries out there? McDonald’s you have nothing on these bad boys. Olive oil, sea salt, Rosemary; amazing. Often I go to a place because they do one thing really well or for some particularly unique thing. This place has both the fries and burger meeting that criterion. And how do they always manage such good customer service? They seem so friendly, happy and eager. Must be those crack fries.

Try the beanburger if you are looking to keep your cholesterol down. It is delicious!
Their shakes don’t compete with Whataburger or Fuddruckers. Would love for them to improve in that area. Burgers are very good and fries too!

I ordered food online and it was ready by the time I got there. Everyone I had to deal with was very nice and had pleasant smiles on their faces. The burgers were amazing! Would definitely recommend this place especially since the price is so reasonable

I was happy to hear Smashburger has a veggie burger! They have the avocado ranch black bean burger or you can customize your own black bean burger. On a Friday lunch it took about 8 minutes to get a to-​go meal here. Overall, I didn’t like the burger too much.
Avocado ranch black bean burger — ³⁄₅
— The burger’s patty: bread:veggies ratio was off. The patty was too thick and it was large enough that it stuck out of the burger on the ends. It was too hard to eat the burger without the patty falling off the sides. Most veggie burgers are hard to eat without making a complete mess. This was definitely one of them.
— However, the patty did not fall apart as I ate it as some veggie patties have been known to do, which was a definite plus.
— The patty did lack flavor. Usually most veggie patties have other random vegetables in them. This one was all black bean. My sister and I both commented that the patty made the burger taste very Mexican-y…like this patty belongs in a burrito or something.
— I also thought that there was not enough ranch on the burger. I added ketchup to it to add more flavor.
— OVERALL, I thought the burger lacked flavor and had too much patty in it, but it was very filling.
Fries — ⁴⁄₅
My sister and I were not able to finish a large fries after eating our burgers. We should have gotten a regular size. The fries were good when warm, but got chewy as they cooled down.
Strawberry shake — ²⁄₅
The shake was sooo sweet. Too sweet to finish without feeling sick to your stomach. I thought about adding milk to it since we were eating our food at home, but I got lazy and ended up throwing it out.
The cost of both the avocado ranch black bean burger and a customized black bean burger is $ 5.66. But, if you try to customize your own black bean burger and add the items that the avocado ranch burger already comes with it, it will cost extra. Let me explain. If you add sliced avocado to a regular burger, it will cost you an extra $ 1.30. And it will cost an extra $ 0.30 for cheese. But the avocado ranch burger already comes with these items.

I was totally impressed when I saw the manager working the floor. The Associates were taking orders, doing the cooking, the manager was, both, helping behind the counter and every five minutes or so he would walk the floor to clean tables and to pick up trash, to make sure things were ready for the next guest. I was very very impressed with the service.
I greatly enjoyed the food as well. This was my first time to a smash burger, and I enjoyed the experience. The management and staff at this franchise location will make me visit again.

I felt the need to review his pace after going today. It was a great experience dinning in. The cashier was very nice. The service was fast and a man who I believe was the manager was also very nice and brought us our food. He checked in a few times to make sure everything was good and take away some trash. Very happy over all.

As captioned in my photo of my burger, a piece of meat that fell off was bland… so was the whole burger. Which is a huge shame because I was really looking forward to a familiar burger here in TX…
I’m sitting here eating and writing this, it’s a sad burger compared to those I’ve had from Smash in CO.

Very very very slow. Ordered five items. Kids meals came out fine. One burger showed up wrong and had to be sent back. Then it came back without sauce. The other burger showed up 10 minutes later after everyone was almost done. The food was good, but I was tired of having to go back up to the counter so many times. Food was good not great enough to make up for the constant mistakes.

Yup, your burger is smashed. So, it has its own texture and taste different from other burgers. While they have plenty of preset burgers to pick from, I keep coming back to customize my own burger. Pick your bun, toppings, cheese and then your add-​ons. For myself, I start with an egg.
This location is friendly and has always been happy to help me create my signature burger. The fried pickles are a must.

I’ve eaten here 3 times now. The regular Smashburger with Sweet potato fries is fine (a step above whataburger). Sweet potato fries I thought were pretty good. I’ve also tried the chicken sandwich which I didn’t think was as good as the Chik fil a Chicken Sandwich. I’ve also had the veggie frites which were horrible — flash fried my butt. They were soggy, squishy with grease, no breading at all — gross. I’ve also had the fried pickles — not very good either — soggy instead of crispy and overly greasy. Stick with a regular burger and fries and you’ll be good although you may find your bread squished or wilted lettuce — in my experience.

I like smash burger but if I have to choose I will always go to five guys, it just I think it is very oily and price are pretty high for the burger. I think maybe the burger meat is not well season it just something about the burger it’s not as tasty as other burger join.

This place was good the first time I had it like a year ago. Now it is a complete dump. The burger was awful. It was dry and tasteless. The fries were okay, but nothing great. The service wasn’t great either, it wasn’t busy but it took the cashier 30 minutes just to get our order. Won’t be going there again.

A W E S O M E!!! It gets the AWESOME STAMP people, it’s Just as I hoped for!!! Yummy goodness! Taste just like home!!! It was all that I expected it to be and more, I couldn’t have asked for better. I got the Colorado grilled chicken and hubby got the Colorado burger they where both equally AWESOME!!!

I love Smashburger! I know… I know… to any genuine burger lover that seems like a sinful statement. But I do… I love it! Usually I am not a fan of these chain like burger spots, and much prefer a classic mom and pop greasy spoon type burger joint. But I just love me some Smashburger. The meat is always juicy, and the toppings are fresh. I love the BBQ burger with the crispy onion strings and cheddar. Its so good, although I avoid the BBQ sauce and ask for the smash sauce instead.
The rosemary fries are awesome, and everything always comes out just cooked and piping hot. Can’t beat that!!!
Oh, and do yourself a favor and get a Salted Caramel Malt. It’s crazy good!!!

First time visitor. Really nice atmosphere. Traffic… it’s kinda a busy area. Anywho let me skip on to it. I got the bacon cheeseburger with rosemary/​olive oil fries.
The burger was very juicy and hot… but not much seasoning and extremely greasy. I was wiping my hands and mouth after every bite. I used about 5 napkins lol. It wasn’t gross or anything, but I was expecting to be blown away… I guess because of the name SMASHburger… I dont know.
I didn’t care for the fries. Talk about shoestrings :(Flavorful, but I’m a steak fry kinda girl
All in all I give this place 3 stars. I’ll have to try something else next time I visit
