Payless Shoe Source

If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought 2 different pairs of work shoes from this store and both made my foot swell up. I asked the employee who worked there if I could return them even if they are worn and she said yes. So today I went in and returned both of them and the worker (Asian older lady with glasses) looked at them and gave me a lot of attitude and was laughing at me to her co-​workers. So I told her that it was unnecessary to scream at me and she told me she wasn’t and I said yes you are and she proceeded to argue with me and brought up something about customer service so I said well your customer service needs some work and she said that customer service is important but not when and she caught herself before saying what she wanted to say so I said when what? When the customer is wrong? Is that what you wanted to say? And so she tried to defend herself and didn’t say much but started to laugh and joke with her co-​workers about me. Both her and the older Filipino gentleman were extremely rude and seemed aggravated. One younger employee was slightly better. Not as rude but you can tell that he was aggravated as well. I will never step foot into another payless store because of this horrible experience.

Worst experience with the manager Agnes. Never deal with her. I’ve been a payless customer for over 25 years and I will never set foot into another payless shoe store because of the lady who considers herself a «manager» Agnes. Payless corporate should really look into who they have represent their company.

I really hate going to this store, I’ve been here maybe 3 times in the past 6 months looking for toddler shoes. Shoes aren’t as inexpensive as they used to be and visiting this store is unpleasant and stressful.
The employees are unfriendly and are in the way. Twice employees came over and started stocking shelves where I was trying to shop while holding a toddler. The first time I asked the associate «am I in your way?» (Hint, hint… You’re in mine!) she said no and kept going!
Also the other shoppers are pretty rude too. Taking shoes out, not putting them back, blocking aisles when it’s unnecessary. Another time two girls were following me through the store looking in my size section, commenting they weren’t that size, but just being in the way!
The aisles are really narrow.

Don’t really come to shop here, but sometimes check out their sales! Got really lucky once! Bought shoes for $ 7!!! (repeat $ 7!!!) that were SUPER COMFORTABLE… sexy (had a small high heel)…and NEVER FELL APART!!! I wore them often and they still looked perfect!
