If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought 2 different pairs of work shoes from this store and both made my foot swell up. I asked the employee who worked there if I could return them even if they are worn and she said yes. So today I went in and returned both of them and the worker(Asian older lady with glasses) looked at them and gave me a lot of attitude and was laughing at me to her co-workers. So I told her that it was unnecessary to scream at me and she told me she wasn’t and I said yes you are and she proceeded to argue with me and brought up something about customer service so I said well your customer service needs some work and she said that customer service is important but not when and she caught herself before saying what she wanted to say so I said when what? When the customer is wrong? Is that what you wanted to say? And so she tried to defend herself and didn’t say much but started to laugh and joke with her co-workers about me. Both her and the older Filipino gentleman were extremely rude and seemed aggravated. One younger employee was slightly better. Not as rude but you can tell that he was aggravated as well. I will never step foot into another payless store because of this horrible experience.

Worst experience with the manager Agnes. Never deal with her. I’ve been a payless customer for over 25 years and I will never set foot into another payless shoe store because of the lady who considers herself a «manager» Agnes. Payless corporate should really look into who they have represent their company.

I needed a pair sensible flats for an event and didn’t want to spend a fortune, so I took a few minutes to look through Payless. I ended up finding the perfect pair of flats: neutral color, simple bow embellishment, and most importantly — comfortable. Edna gave me advice on picking a style that’s least likely to give me blisters that won’t make your feet look stubby and odd.(FYI– Pointed toes in Wide!) She also looked through the aisles and stockroom to double-check and look for similar styles and offered to call up the nearest Payless locations when it was apparent that her location didn’t stock my size in wide. Although this isn’t your Jimmy Choos or Louboutins– the great customer service is what warrants a great review. I’d definitely recommend you visiting this Payless if you are looking for some cheap everyday shoes and don’t wanna deal with mean sales reps.

Thanks, Oprah! I was sent some info about a coupon for 50% off good for yesterday and today at Payless Shoes for Oprah viewers. I decided to check this place out for any good deals and found the staff very nice! I ended up purchasing a pair of American Eagle black flats and Airwalk boots. I even found a couple pairs of cute earrings. I got everything for 50% off! SCORE!

omg, why are payless shoes so expensive these days?! i came in hoping to find a cheap ass pair of heels/boots for less than $ 20. but some of these shoes were like $ 20-$ 50! wtf? since when did payless start to upgrade?! they do have some cute shoes tho. but most of them were really uncomfortable. however, i DID end up buying a pair for $ 24.99. i think i’ll just stick to aerosoles…
