This Starbucks is quite spacious on the inside. There’s plenty of seating(outside and inside), but not many outlets, so if you plan on using your laptop, plan ahead! If you’re not, then you should be able to find satisfactory seating with no problem. The staff is friendly like all the other Starbucks. :)

Went to find a place to sit and the couch and coffee table had papers, a laptop, binder and folders completely taking over the entire area. No one was sitting there. I looked around and saw a man outside on his cell phone and assumed it was his and had stepped outside to make a phone call. After about 20 minutes with no one returning to the area, I was baffled as to who was occupying the space. Then to my surprise, a Starbucks employee came over(I am assuming it was the manager) and sat down and proceeded to do some paperwork. After about 5 minutes, she got up and attended to other business and continued to leave her things there. Very rude. I understand that perhaps there is no place for her to do her paperwork, but she could at least use a table and not monopolize the couch.

Located in the Baja Fresh /Pet Food Express shopping plaza). McDonalds and Chevron are also in the same area. This location isn’s as busy as the location at Blackhawk Plaza diagonal across the street. The drinks are consistently made, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is a nice outdoor patio in the back of the store. Well kept and clean inside. They have a big selection of Starbucks tumblers and mugs.

Poor service. Stood at the counter alone for 2-minutes while 3 people walked around cleaning and organizing things behind the counter and didn’t even acknowledge I was there. Plus, they were out of green tea. How does Starbucks run out of green tea?

Let me start off by saying, I am NOT a Starbucks fan. I am a Peet’s girl 110 percent. That being said, I will give this Starbucks 4 stars only because they take good care of me when I come in, which is nice since I work close. I just wish I got better drinks whenever I came here because every single time I get a frap here it is liquid and overly sweet. I’ve had decent coffee… maybe twice. I wish I had a Peet’s just a bit closer.

Located in the well-heeled Blackhawk area of Danville, across from the Tassajara Crossing mall(just down from Baja Fresh) this attractive Starbucks features a large, expansive inside seating area.(Note: this is *not* the Starbucks in Blackhawk Plaza; it’s across the street). Entering, you are presented with a nice visual, with wood paneled flooring, wall photo murals, and several floor-to-ceiling windows on the far wall presenting an abundance of natural light. After a quick turnaround of our coffee order, we relaxed at one of the tables, kicked back and enjoyed the people watching. I had to admire the seating options here: 6 tables, one counter, one long table, two arm chairs and one sofa — all told I counted over 25 available chairs. There are also several outside tables for nice weather. The inside tables themselves, quality-wise, are a cut above what I’m used to seeing in Starbucks. Really a well laid-out location for chatting, studying or working. As if this wasn’t enough, this Starbucks has a Clover brewer, so coffee lovers can get individually brewed Starbucks Reserve Coffees. Options are on the overhead chalk board. When we were there they had Columbia Caldas, Aged Sumatra, Burundi, and a Mexican coffee. Freshly brewed iced coffees using the Clover are also an option. If you’re in the area, there’s no better place to stop for a coffee break.

I’m not a huge coffee drinker but every once in awhile my girlfriend and I go to Starbucks. For some reason we choose this location because it’s close and we keep thinking they will get their act together. Every single time we have come here they have consistently messed up at least one of our drinks if not both. I don’t understand the incompetence. How do you stay in business and bring back customers when you are consistently messing up simple drink orders? Not to mention they have 4 – 5 employees staffed and only one is taking orders and one is making drinks and the other two are just walking around attempting to look busy when there is a huge line. Needless to say I won’t be back to this location ever again.

The quintessential SBUX! Great staff, always very attentive. A nice place to get in & get out with your fix or to sit & linger while you enjoy your beverage.

What could be better than a tasty fru-fru espresso drink to start(or end) your day? How about an abundance of space and natural light, natural hardwood floors, beautiful surroundings, and some relaxing music to really put the icing on the cake? This Starbucks, tucked away in a tight little corner looks tiny from the outside but, much like a TARDIS, it appears to be significantly larger on the inside. I’ve passed this Sbux many times while visiting the Juice Zone next door. Imagine my surprise when I finally went inside and realized that it was one of the largest Starbucks locations that I’ve ever been to. Plus, it has floor to ceiling windows that allow sunlight inside. I’ve always found natural lighting to be much more soothing than fluorescent light. The décor is warm and inviting, as are the comfy seating options. Add in the ubiquitous free wifi found at every Starbucks location and this becomes the perfect place to work, study, or just relax. The line was long, it’s the same old story at every Starbucks I’ve visited in the Bay Area, but the barristas keep the line moving with a smile. They made my venti skinny hazelnut latte to perfection and mom and I settled into a couple of chairs to enjoy the music and the people watching. I highly recommend this location if your’e looking for a place to get a warm caffeinated drink and just chill for awhile in splendor and comfort. There’s also plenty of seating out in front if you’d like to enjoy the mild outdoor climate. I’m from Bakersfield where we spend half the year dashing from the air conditioned car to air conditioned stores so this is a rare luxury to have weather I’d want to sit outside and enjoy.

I am forced to downgrade to 3* because i am in here at least twice a week and the staff still cannot remember my name much less my order. And honestly ladies I am tired of the suggestive sell for the food every single time — give it a rest when you see a regular. Pretty pathetic but at least the baristas are efficient.

I come to this starbucks every day before I go into work. I am so happy that they have the reserves. My favorite Reserve coffee is the Nicaragua Maracaturra. I also enjoyed the Isla Flores which was awesome. The staff here work really hard and show respect to there customer. I haven’t heard anything bad about this place. I also enjoy that the staff shows a lot of teamwork. The one thing I recommend for this place is that they need more staff during the morning rush.

I always oder my chai latte at 200 degrees, and this was first Starbucks I have ever been too INTHEWORLD that has said they can’t make it that hot. Forget the fact that one establishment told me how to order it this way as it was never hot enough for me. Last week I went in and ordered it the same way I always do, and nobody said anything to me, until my drink arrived. They gave me my drink«extra hot» and not at 200 degrees how I ordered it. Moving on to another Starbucks down the road where they don’t bitch that it is too hot for them to make…

I consider myself a bit of a Starbucks connoisseur, and I must say that this is one of my favorites. The employees are very friendly and remember me by name. Doug and Michelle are always cheerful and start a quick conversation, even when the place is hoppin’. The service is speedy and efficient, and the drinks are normally pretty good. In comparison to the Starbucks in Blackhawk Plaza, go here if you need coffee on the run and served with a smile.

Ugh, Starbucks, I thought you were all the same. :(I came in here(first time) to grab a quick caramel machiatto. Ok, background story really quick: I mostly order a caramel machiatto(extra shot if I’m feelin’ freaky) with sugar free syrup and non fat milk. So I brought it upon myself to call it a skinny caramel machiatto. Whenever I said they each and every barista looked at me like I was crazy. Girlfriend/dude you know I mean sugar free syrup and non fat milk, don’t look at me like I’m crazy. Anyways I walk into this place and see on the chalkboard«TRYOURNEWSKINNYCARAMELMACHIATTO». Biters, lol. But anyways, this lady made my drink, slower than normal and it didn’t taste good at all. Very watery(best word I can think of)… Eh, maybe it was an off day. I’ll update if I go back.

Great staff and most conscientious manager, Doug… always takes time to have a real conversation with you. Now that so many who used to frequent this one have moved up to the Blackhawk SBUX, there’s usually quite a bit of room and it’s very comfy for enjoying a drink or meet up with friends.

This Starbucks is fine. Drink quality is pretty consistent, the service is average. Not bad, not great. The one thing that bothers me about this Starbucks is that I feel pretty closter phobic when I go into it. Its location is in a tiny little space in between the Blockbuster and the Juice zone. I feel the newer Starbucks across the street in the Blackhawk Plaza is much better. Also it is sometimes hard to park in private parking lot where this Tassajara Starbucks is located. I mean, how many big SUVs can you fit in one lot?

a typical starbucks, maybe a touch above since everyone is super friendly, as is everyone who works in the blackhawk area. has indoor and outdoor seating. the only pitfall is arriving after 7:30 am on fridays during the school year, when without fail, there are groupies of teenage girls overly hyped up even before they’ve had a venti frap latte whatever. serious, one time i was in dire need of morning caffeine and this bunch started singing happy birthday and all the suits in line gave them death stares.
