Went for lunch. A total of 4 of us. We got the cedar feast. Listed as serving 2 to 4 people but can easily serve 6. Food was really good and portions were very large. Really liked their lentil soup and baba Ganouish. Took one star off as the food was a little oily for our tastes.

After going to Greenfield Village we’re stopping in at our favorite Middle Eastern joint. The lines are always long for the drive-through but it’s well worth the wait. It’s always fun to watch the cooks come out the back door and check on what order you’re picking up. The food is fresh and delicious. My husband gets the hummus with lamb and I get the chicken shawarma. We’ve been coming here for years and still can’t figure out how they get the hummus so smooth. They say it’s an old family secret. We’re never able to make it home, we always end up pulling over to eat. We always enjoy our drive through Dearborn and look forward to our trip here.

I LOVETHISPLACE! Drive thru is perfect. Everything I’ve tried so far has been great. house combo is so delicious feeds up to 2 people. very very large portions. even when doing to go orders. nice service all the time. Now they deserve$ 15 and hour. Just see for yourself. if you are scared try the chicken sandwich for only $ 3.99.

Good food for the price. Worth every cent of the money spent. The portion size is generous and the food is delicious. The only problem I have is the customer service which is awful, they don’t smile at all and seem to be doing a favor on you. It loses 2 stars for the awful service, the smelly beef shawarma which is a part of the cedar feast platter and the very oily rice.

Nothing fancy, just huge orders of delicious food. The chicken schwarma plate is my go to dish. Also, the tabouelli rules. Well worth the drive from Detroit to check this gem out.

Best Lebanese restaurant! Definitely worth the drive to Dearborn. The complimentary lentil soup is delicious. I’m also a big fan of the tabbouleh. We tried a variety of meats the shawarma, kafta and grilled chicken. They were all fantastic. We can’t wait to go back. Check it out!

My husband introduced me to this little spot of greatness, and let me say that is WELL worth the drive to Dearborn. We’ve always gone during early afternoon times, and it has been very slow/quiet; however, I cannot speak for how busy it gets later into diner time. Two things I loved about this place: 1.) They give you a large decanter of water – I love this because I drink a lot when I eat, and I hate bugging waitstaff for refills, especially water. 2.) You get complimentary lentil soup and warm bread. This is by far the best lentil soup I’ve had. Their portions are quite large; there hasn’t been a time where I haven’t needed a carryout box. The servers will notice if you need more bread when getting a to-go box, and will give you more to put in your box, which works great for making sandwiches the next day with the leftovers! I should also mention I rank their hummous #1 out of all the Middle Eastern places I’ve tried. I have tried their chicken and lamb shawarma, always juicy and well-seasoned. The fattoush salad is very large, and the lettuce is always crispy. Service is excellent – always prompt and curteous. I love when a server has a pleasant personality, with the ability to notice when a customer wants to engage in light conversation, or whether they want a «seen and not heard» server. Cedarland servers understand this, and are excellent. Couldn’t ask for a better place! I have since introduced and taken my family to this establishment, and have heard nothing but great reviews. Keep up the wonderful work, Cedarland!

The best Lebanese food in America! We live in Chicago, drive in every 6 weeks to see family. My wife and I always come here for lamb and eggs, and Chelsea is always our server. she’s the best! All the food is amazing!

One of the better Arab food spots on Warren. We go here often for the shawarma sandwiches. They have a drive through and they’re always quick and tasty. The dining area can be disorganized and loud, but you’ll have that. Definitely better than Al Ameer.

By far one of the best halal Lebanese restaurants in the Dearborn area. They’re chicken and beef ghallaba over hummos are my favorite dishes. However it upsets me that they’re service is very poor. We went during Ramadan and waited an hour before the waitress realized she forgot us and proceeded to be rude. Also the restaurant is not clean.

So cheap, large portions and sooooo tasty. The second you sit down, you get a FREE basket with two types of pita bread and delicious lentil soup. The hummus is fantastic. Very garlicky and creamy; not as acidic. Good falafels and very well priced sandwiches(around $ 3). I cannot wait to go back to Dearborn and order from Cedarland again!

If you are looking for great authentic Middle Eastern food this place is a must try. Their pita bread is baked at their bakery next day and most times is still warm when brought to the table. You are given a complimentary bowl of crushed lentil soup which is very good. My Mom loves the raw kibbie fingers. She says it is the best she ever had. I ordered sauté chicken with almonds on top of baba ghanoush. It came with a fatoosh salad and choice of rice or fries. I chose the rice. This is my favorite dish when I go to Cedarland. Their garlic sauce is so good and not to over powering. Next time in Dearborn, this is a must try.

Came here with some friends on a recent Saturday. The place was empty at 1 p.m. but that was not surprising as it is right in the middle of Ramadan smack dab in Dearborn. The service was excellent!!! I’ve not had better service in quite a long time. The server knew exactly when to bring out the courses, and seemed to know when I’d had enough and brought me containers to take home my leftovers. The food was fast, hot, and very tasty!!! Soup(lentil) was served even when just a sandwich was ordered. I also got a salad with my Lamb Combo. Everything tasted great!!! The serving size could have fed two people easily. What a great place to get Middle Eastern food!!! I’ll definitely be back!!!

I love Cedarland. We have been coming here for years and it is the best Middle Eastern restaurant in the area. I recommend it to everyone. Their lentil soup they give you is free, which I love. Their fattoush salad is the best I’ve ever had. It is all cut up small and I love that about it. It is not like other fattoush I have had where it is primarily all lettuce. Cedarland’s fattoush has cucumbers, radishes, etc. cut up in it. I usually come here with my family so for entrée we get the platter. It comes with a bunch of different meats, grape leaves, rice or hummus, and choice of tabouli or fattoush. It is definitely a lot of food and we leave with leftovers. So worth it for the price. Love this place and will continue to recommend it.

This meal was amazing. Portions are huge, falafels were perfectly cooked and the kabobs were tender and spiced just right. The setting was eclectic and hodge podge with a diverse clientele, adding to our experience.

4 stars Why? Well the food is awesome, that is my reason for giving this place any stars. I ordered a cedar plate which has kibbie, meat shawarma, shish kabob, shish tawook, stuffed grape leaves, and rotisserie chicken, also a side order of Hummas and futtosh. Oh and I recieved the complimentary lentil soup or maybe it came with the cedar plate. The only part of this meal that did not taste great was the Hummas. Everything else was grilled, roasted, and spiced to awesomeness lol. 3 of us had stuffed our faces and have more than half the food left. All this for less than 40 dollars. The wait staff was just slow and disengaged. Barely checked on us, and just was not helpful. The food makes up for crappy service. I use to come here a lot growing up, use to be so well kept, always packed, and a great vibe… sucks that it’s not the same but at least the food is still pretty good.

Actually I had a good time here. This place has competition all around. But they are here to stay. Loved everything that got served, service was great. And I think food is way flavorful than other Mediterranean places. Quantity was good. Bread and soup is really nice. Soup I do have to agree with previous reviewers is more of a chowder than Lentil like. We were with four other families, and they accommodated and served us promptly. Would love to come back.

Cedarland Restaurant serves delicious, mouth-watering food. I’d like to give a special thanks for Detroit Unilocaler, Lorna, for recommending Cedarland to me. If you’ve traveling to Detroit, as we were, passing through Dearborn for a meal is a must! At this casual diner, we started with the hummus, and the«small» order was huge. It was more than enough for two of us. They also serve complimentary bowls of lentil soup and pita bread. The pita bread was the softest, most pillowy pita I’ve ever eaten. I had the chicken shawarma wrap for lunch, which comes with fries. I think you can choose rice if you prefer to keep it traditional. The wrap was so good; there were so many different flavors in a single bite. The chicken was tender and seasoned well, and the cup of the garlicky sauce was so good I ran out of it! Two of us ate very well here for $ 16. Now I have to begin my quest back home to find something just as good.
