This place is HUGE.
More shoes than, anywhere!
I just came back and they completely redid this store since my last visit.
Mikayla was super friendly and helpful, and helped me into their rewards system (she even filled out the entire sign up sheet for me!), and made my experience to the Dedham location superior. Another employee in the clearance section was also incredibly kind and helpful when I was looking for flip flops, even though they are out of season (always buy flip flops out of season, but I have way TOO many, and not enough shoes, barely any). Anyway, the store in general was superior in organization, cleanliness, and show selection, as well as having a wonderful inventory of each shoe (almost every size for every shoe is incredible!).
Overall, I will be purchasing more shoes from this DSW and not other places I have shopped in the past. Super happy with this great, local store.
Located in the back of the Dedham Mall, at 344 Providence Highway, accessible via Washington Street to Incinerator Road as well as Providence Highway. Exit 15 to Route 1A in Dedham off Route 128.

This store is great … unless you’re looking for men’s non-​formal shoes … and even less so if you’re looking for men’s shoes smaller than a 9.5.

The store itself is fantastic. There’s an enormous selection of shoes and an extensive clearance section. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well for my fiancé. There is a much more limited selection for men, but still enough to find some nice shoes.
I’m rating the parking differently, because DSW didn’t design the mall. It’s awful-​if hell was a parking lot it would function a lot like this one! It no joke looks like a toddler designed it with a crayon and then an architect said «f**k it, lets go with this». There is a tiny intersection where cars have to go to enter and leave and it acts as a perfect ‘bottleneck’. The parking is also limited in general. It blows my mind why they wouldn’t design other exits, unless they designed it to prevent you from leaving.
All this to say the store is fantastic, but expect to spend 10 minutes trying to get into the lot and 5 – 7 more looking for a parking spot.

Great Selection for shoes, came here again for the third time, wonderful service and organization as well!

DSW is one of the handy shops located in the Dedham mall. The selection is pretty good and I have bought leather boots, work shoes, Sean’s new snow/​hiking boots, tights, a wallet, sneakers, and my wedding shoes there over the years. They also send out coupons and special offers by mail and email.
Great salespeople. No hassle returns if you ever have to make them, if the shoes are unworn of course.

For women this place might be great but I can never find cool running shoes.

I love shoes. If i could buy as many shoes as i want then whole money that i earn i would spend on shoes. Two years ago i find this nice store next to my house. There’s tones of shoes. Very big selection, reasonable prices, always s great sales, good quality of shoes, friendly stuff.
But unfortunately time change and everything around too. Went there couple week s ago and got a bit disappointed. Couldn’t find the right size. Instead of leather shoes they have a lot of synthetic. And the prices grew up a lot. They use to have lover prices the Marshall or TJ MAX. Don’t know what happened. Maybe that was a bad week fashion. Still it’s a good place to buy shoes. You just need to spend more time to find good one.

Enormous selection, decent prices, store is huge, and relatively clean. Parking is a bear though!

Huge selection, limited sizes and a really apathetic staff. When I walked in I was bombarded by about six (seriously) employees all wanting me yo sign up for their email program. When I told them I already was they disappeared. When I actually needed someone to help me, no one was in sight. I had to wander over to apparell, literally on the other side of the store. They have a lot of great shoes at pretty good prices. I agree with the previous review stating that the sizes available was not so great. The prices are good but you can get better prices at
. Unfortunately, you cannot touch, feel, try on, and really see what you are buying at shoebuy until it shows up at your house. DSW is a good alternative. They also have a lot of socks, bags, and other smaller accessories. Guys: Don’t make the mistake I made by going here with your lady. I ended up being at the store for almost 2 hours!
