Chris G was extremely helpful and flexible. He has been in the mattress business a long time and gave us some thorough and insightful information as we were in the market for a new king size mattress. We also appreciated the ability to return our bed within 120 days. I would definitely do business with Chris again.

I needed a new mattress for my apartment. Having never had to buy one for myself before, I thought I knew the firmness I liked. I was completely wrong! Now that I tried out different models I ended up preferring plush. I wouldn’t have discovered that if we hadn’t come to Mattress Firm! I didn’t feel pressurized to pick one mattress over the other. Great experience!

I’m not a fan at all of the mattress business and the way it operates. So to me, the only way to judge a company or store is by the actual people you deal with. To that extent, Back to Bed left us with a very favorable impression. Mike at the store was easily the most helpful and courteous person we’ve ever dealt with. He went above and beyond what you’d normally expect to ensure our purchase was a smooth one. We had some issues with our first choice of mattress, and thanks to Mike, the situation was rectified to our satisfaction.

Very disappointed! Went to Back to Bed 1 month ago after my wife had been complaining about severe neck pain each morning after waking up. We figured we needed another mattress as we had just bought a memory foam mattress after sleeping on a conventional extra firm mattress forever. Kyle the store manager was great in that he suggested we may simply only need new pillows instead of a new mattress. We took his suggestion and bought two $ 100+ dollar each neck pillows which needed to come in from the warehouse on Tuesday. Great, made the purchase even though we couldn’t address my wife’s pain for another week just because we liked the honesty and lack of up sell. The next day we returned and decided that we’d eliminate all the variables and buy a new mattress in addition to the 2 pillows on order, as the extra firm Simmons they carried was the same mattress we loved all these years before getting the memory foam. Well that’s where the good ends. The delivery arrived 1 week later on time but with only 1 of the 2 pillows. The pillow we received was this tiny discontinued model that was insufficient for my 6 year old. No one ever told me it was a discontinued model except for the delivery confirmation receipt. I asked about the other pillow, delivery driver had no idea. For each of the next Sundays I have schlepped to B2B inquiring about the other pillow, each time getting an answer that Tuesday it will be here. Finally last week I enter the store, they have no idea where my order is and after finally figuring it out the manager says oh yes it arrived! Hooray! I open it up and the pillow is frayed on the corner. I point it out and the manager agrees it is not acceptable. Surely they had ordered more than one to be delivered from the warehouse? Of course not. Back to the Tuesday schedule.(Reminds me of a Wimpy from Popeye«for which I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday).» The manager assures me a new pillow will be ordered and arrive last Tuesday. Today, I waste my Sunday and drive there yet again, and yet again no pillow as promised but another promise of Tuesday. I said no way, please refund me. «But it’ll be here in just a few more days and its just a pillow, what’s the big deal» was what the manager replied. It was that response that precipitated the review. To add insult to injury, he can’t even tell me when the refund will be credited back to me and my card. For that B2B will now be getting the entire bed back. I might add, I don’t give out a 1-star review lightly. However, when a company provides absolutely no value add to a commoditized business model that in this case has largely moved online and to every strip mall around, coupled with people with poor work ethic and attitudes, I think we are all better served to make them go away. No wonder showcasing has become so prevalent. Thanks Unilocal! here I come…

After suffering for months on my old mattress, I went to Back to Bed in Deerbrook to see what they had to offer. The manager, Kyle, was very helpful and I ended up buying a new mattress on the spot! I got it at a good price and there was also an online coupon for $ 150 off. The delivery guys were very polite and arrived on time. I would buy from this store again — Kyle was great! The mattress is great too!

The service was excellent and the special pricing they provided on a two mattress purchase was very fair. Addendum: We are lowering our ranking for them(from 5 to 3 stars) as we subsequently purchased three special pillows from them under the condition that they were returnable, which we were told they were as they would use them for in-store demos. A week later we brought one pillow back and although they reluctantly took it back, it was somewhat of a hassle. In summary, they misrepresented to us how returnable these pillows really were.
