I don’t have words this place. Once you are inside, you are instantly transported to Napa. Cali dining at its best in South Florida. The pasta here is out of this world– always homemade. Service and food are michelin status. This place puts Delray on the foodie destination map.

The Grove was a wonderful choice last night for dinner. Everything was perfect, from the wine list to coffee and dessert. Had the pasta first, excellent. Then the chicken. Flavorful moist with salad on the side. Salad tomatoes were again perfect and loved the dressing. Brother had the grouper. Said he had never had better grouper in his entire life! Fresh baked from the oven bread with soft butter. Pot of coffee instead of just a cup. Chocolate mousse for dessert with espresso and whipped cream. Again perfect can’t wait to get back.

My boyfriend and I usually park near this restaurant when we come out to Atlantic Avenue for dinner and drinks — so we always pass by this quaint little place. My mother mentioned this was a fabulous restaurant and very gourmet, so my boyfriend and I decided to do a little date night here, and it was impeccable. First off, the owner is young and started this restaurant himself and he is the chef of the restaurant, which I totally love and support. He really found a niche market in the restaurant industry when it comes to succeeding. Bravo! If you plan on dining at this restaurant I highly suggest making a reservation — the restaurant is very small and intimate so standing around and waiting for a table would be awkward, I would imagine. The lighting is dark and dim and it makes for a romantic evening. The staff is really nice and friendly and they don’t make you feel rushed in the least bit. They allow you to take your time and enjoy your night. They have a fabulous wine selection and a small menu. I think there is only one chef(the owner) and sous chef so we had to order our appetizer and entrees at the same time, but they spaced it all out. The mushroom soup is the best soup I have ever tasted — it was rich and creamy and my mouth waters every time I think about it. I would love to recreate it. The octopus was cooked to perfection which was impressive because I really find it hard for a lot of restaurants to get it right when it comes to octopus. Our entrees were pure perfection. My boyfriend and I were very pleased with this place and we will definitely be back. They have a really great concept going on and they should definitely keep up the awesome work. The best restaurant by far on Pineapple Grove — or better yet in Delray Beach.

Read about The Grove online before our trip to DelRay last month– it definitely lived up to its stellar reviews. I would eat their sweetbreads for every meal if I could! My boyfriend was also very impressed with his chicken and polenta. Oh and we showed up without a reservation and were seated quickly, despite their obviously being quite busy. Great service as well.

The grove is one of the smaller restaurants in the area, which makes it a great place for an intimate dinner for 2 or a quiet dinner for 4. The menu is limited and changes frequently depending on the availability of fresh ingredients; have eaten here 5 or 6 times, and the menu has been different each time. While small, the menu offers enough choices for most palates, with interesting but not unusual preparations. The portions are not large but adequate and the food has been consistently excellent. I had the lamb bolognese pasta on one occasion, the tenderloin on another occasion, which were both outstanding. The wine menu is not expansive, but there are plenty of good choices. They have a corkage fee, which is standard for most places, although this was somewhat annoying on one occasion when we ate there with a regular and they charged us a fee for each wine bottle we brought, about $ 100. I like to bring wine on occasion and don’t mind a corkage fee in general, but usually get charged the fee once and at places that I frequent, it’s typically waived. Not a big deal but both the regular and myself felt«nickel and dimed», as the restaurant is not cheap. It is however on par with other good restaurants in the are in terms of cost. It’s a small space although they have done a nice job with the décor. The service has always been excellent. Make reservations if you plan on going as seating is limited, which is part of the appeal. Check it out and enjoy.

Had a great dinner here with my wife. Small menu, nice wine list, small beer list and no liquor, but it’s not a bar. This is a place to spend some money and get a great meal. Staff was friendly and fast, food was outstanding. Brule and Max’s were our«go tos» on 2nd… The Grove just took their place.

Disappointed. I had the octopus for the appetizer and it was awful. Couldn’t cut through it. Plus it came looking like they took a machete to the tentacle and plated it. However, my friend’s mushroom soup was delicious. I had the chicken and it was Ok. Nothing to rave about. We had a 6:30 reservation, and got seated right away. However at 8:45 the owner approached us and said they had another reservation waiting for the table.(We had gotten the check, but my friend still was drinking her wine). I have never had that happen to me before. It won’t again, because I’ll never be back to the Grove.

The food was good. The atmosphere nice. Maybe a tad pricey but good. The service was good. They did however rush us out even with a reservation. We were sitting and enjoying our wine and were asked to pay out bill as there was another reservation waiting for our table. I’ve never had that happen. Very awkward. The bread was awesome!!! The mushroom soup was very good! The menu was small and not a lot of choices. The steak was ok but for $ 38 it should have been better than ok. The scallops were fair. The wahoo was good. Very sparse on accompaniments. For a restaurant that serves soup for $ 18(while be it very good)…they served soda from a can and left it on the table for you to refill your own glass and then you had to ask for more ice… just a little odd for a restaurant that portrays itself as upscale. I think it could have gotten 4 stars if it weren’t for the odd soda situation and being asked to finish up because someone was waiting for our taxable… and a half a glass of wine sitting in front of me.

A great find and of the few great restaurants in Palm Beach County. Old world meets new world when it comes to décor. Not your typical Delray Beach restaurant. Small yet very cozy, intimate, and inviting. The menu changes almost daily. Food here was outstanding. The home made brioche was absolutely delicious! I could have eaten ten of those!!! We started with the cheese plate which was fantastic. The cheeses were rich and creamy, served with grapes, sliced almonds, some crackers and another home made toasted bread which was a great accompaniment. We then had the goat agnolotti which was a surprisingly light dish and the pasta was al dente. The pasta definitely tasted home made and fresh. Lastly we tried the chocolate raspberry tart and paired it with a glass of Tokaji. I enjoyed the tart, although I would have liked it more if the chocolate was a bit darker. By the way, their by the glass wine selection was very good, which is difficult to find. In terms of the service, the staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. If you are one of those people who likes to go for what I call a «speed dining» type of experience, then this is not the place for you. However, if you like to take your time when dining and are willing to wait a bit for great, fresh home cooked food then for sure you’ll enjoy this little gem of a restaurant.

Probably the best quality food in Delray. Two chefs run the entire kitchen. It’s a small intimate restaurant, low level of noise, dim lighting. Great for a date. The menu changes daily and the food is mostly from local sources. The wait staff is great as well and the manager frequently helps. I would suggest getting an appetizer because does take a little longer to get your main course with everything being cooked from scratch with only two chefs working. Ate here on 8÷18÷15 and the employees let us wait and the hostess stand almost 15min before they acknowledged us. I was really surprised. The restaurant wasn’t even busy.

First, I am NOT a food snob. I tried really hard to like this place. But I couldn’t. I will list the pros and then the cons Pros: atmosphere, music, service. The bread they serve at the table is delicious. The mushroom soup that was on the apps list was very good. There was a Spanish wine available by the glass that was delicious as well(I forgot the name, I am not a wine connoisseur but I like Spanish Reds) Cons: For the price and portions, it was mediocre. It was not BAD, but for 18 $ apps and 30 $ entrees, I expect it to be very very good and for there to be decent portions. The steak was cooked correct and tasted okay… but it was just… ok. The veal app was tiny and not great. My girlfriend had this pasta with pork. Just meh. They have beer(very small selection) and wine only. Also, the menu was tiny. I am not trying to shit on this place because the service was good and the staff was nice. It gets 2 stars because even though the food was a 3, the price and portions brought it down.

Sophisticated, beautiful, and delicious… this restaurant brings class to Delray Beach. The menu changes every two weeks, but don’t worry– every single dish is a knockout. Not only is the food beautifully presented… every item on the plate has a purpose… to tantalize your tastebuds. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for the perfect spot for a romantic celebration. The service is amazing and the staff makes you feel like family.

Perfection! After being completely ignored at N2 Wine Bar down the street and walking out, my wife and my mom and me all strolled into arms of the gracious host at the Grove. He was AMAZING. Such a friendly, warm, genuine, appreciative greeting! The restaurant is tiny and classy – we sat at one of the high tables and the females ordered glasses of chardonnay while I selected a glass of pinot noir. The wine was delicious. The service was spectacular. The people around us seemed to be relishing their meals, although we didn’t check the food menu very carefully and I’m not sure of the vegan options. The whole place had filled up by the time we left. I would come back in an instant and enjoy the soothing ambience, the outstanding service and the great wine at the Grove. I’ll let you know about the food next time.

This place is fun. Lots of outdoor tables, it’s right downtown, so there’s people watching too. Nice trees and plants everywhere. Our waiter was older and quite hip. Decked out in all sorts of tattoos and jewelry and hair. And he was a guy, ha ha. Great service. We had lunch outside. I had the special, a baby back ribs plate with cole slaw and sweet potato fries. Everything about it was great. Ribs were very tender, fries done perfectly, cole slaw was tasty. The only problem was that the portion size was kinda small. I’m not a large guy, but it just didn’t fill me up. Had a nice American craft IPA beer with lunch. Yum. Their beer and wine menu is very good. This is a great casual place to go. It’s not top of the line gourmet, but they do everything right, and that is important.
