I just went in for the first time and saw a HUGE roach crawl across the counter. I paid for my sub and left, too horrified to ask for my money back or to point it out. I will not be going back.

Why close at 4 on Saturday? That is strange, 4 is awfully close to dinner, but pretty late for lunch. Ah whatever, you lost my business and I went to Jimmy John’s, and you know what, I forgot how much I loved Jimmy Johns. So when you close again next Saturday at 4 and the person rudely sends your customers walking back to their cars because they can’t make sandwich after 4, just remember you are sending them straight to your competitors shop. Good Luck.

I’m a little stunned by the poor reviews this Sub Hub location is getting! I’ve been a fan of both this and the Ave C location for a long time now and I don’t see a huge difference between the two. Customer service has always been great, to the point that the regular staff remembers that I’m a fan of the whole 6, no cheese, everything else on it. When my dad is in town, we go here at least twice and they always wish him a safe trip back. It’s these things that I have come to expect from this great location. On my most recent trip, I got my regular whole six while my dad go his regular turkey. if Ami is with me, we split the pizza sub. The bread was super soft this time around and everything tasted great. For the price of everything, you really can’t go wrong. We left with 2 sandwiches, 2 small drinks, and 2 bags of chips all for $ 13. It’s even better when I split a whole sub because the cost is well under $ 10. I will say that I’m not the biggest fan of the potato salad, but that’s not why I venture to the 288 Sub Hub location. I just don’t understand the negative reviews for this Sub Hub, especially when I think of how much better it is than Subway or Jersey Mike’s.

The owner of this Sub Hub location needs to read these reviews and make the proper changes. I agree with the post about the horrible service. I have been in there twice in two weeks and both times was treated like I was putting the employees out by making them work. One red headed young man rolled his eyes when I entered. That is unacceptable. I highly suggest people wanting to try Sub Hub going to the location near UNT. I live next to this awful loop 288 location but I will be driving across town from now on.

I went to this Sandwich shop last night. I was in Denton last night for the evening, not being familar with whats in the area, I looked up place to eat a good sandwich on my phone. This is one came up, unfortunately for me since I am unfamilar with Denton I had a little hard time finding it. So by the time I got there on my phone it said 7:59. Well they close at 8:00. I didn’t realize or I wouldn’t even have bothered going in to begin with. But their door was unlocked, there were lots of people inside and their sign was still on. So I didn’t think anything about it. When I enter I, I was promptly told in a very rude voice, «Mame, we actually close at 8:00. This is all family in here.» Well excuse me rude girl. So for this sub shop I have no actual review, other than show up before 8 or you will have to deal with rude girl. And I am not so sure she is any nicer before 8 either. I won’t ever go back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They only get one star because its required to post.

Good sandwiches, I’ve always enjoyed eating here. Never have gotten a bad sub.

This location is giving the others a bad name. The bread is so stale you can hardly eat the sandwich. Do yourself a favor and go to the New York Subway on University Drive.

The most flavorful thing I ate was the cookie… I decided to try New York Sub close to where I work. It was probably not the best decision; I should have just gone to Whataburger — you can never go wrong there. First off, where’s the taste? All I tasted was bread and lots of it and a bit on the dry side. They did not offer to toast my sub and their menu does not exactly say whether a sub is hot or cold. On top of that, the staff does not even wear gloves when preparing your food. It was not the worst sub place I have ever been, but it sure is close… I only gave it 2 stars because of the cookie.
