When shopping at Vans, it usually gives me a feel of really clean, high quality threads, but this store gave me the total opposite experience. Went in to this particular location on a weekend and while shopping for items, I noticed a ton of unfolded clothes, pants laying around off hangers, and not one staff member greeted us or ask us if we needed any assistance. I was surprised in how unorganized this store was. In most cases I do understand it can be short staffed or busy with other customers, but in this case, a few sales reps kept on leaving out of the store to text on the phone? So we bought a couple shirts and pants, wanted to buy shoes but the staff was pre occupied at the counter or texting out side the store, I’m sure because cameras can see the employees actions. We then checked out and had a issue with the cost of a sale item, we directed the sale and spoke with the female store manager, and here is when things got worse. The store manager from the start had the WORST attitude toward customers and her job! Her demeanor came across as grumpy rude person. I say this because of how we sat in the store and waited patiently for assistance and also for her to get off the phone with another manager, because she wasn’t sure about the sale, and turns out she was wrong from trying to say the say wasn’t valid. So we finally got the sale situated and left this particular location shaking our heads. As we grabbed out items we payed for, there were no apologies, no thank you have a nice day, or sorry for the inconvenience. We were shocked in how VANS would have a person such as this store manager running this store. We decided to do a review to give you other shoppers a heads up, and prepare your self if you are looking at shopping here. Other then the store management and texting out side of the store staff, they have quality clothing, decks and shoes.

We try to visit Vans stores in every city we visit because our organization is sponsored by Vans… I don’t usually introduce myself to the manager until after we have done our shopping… without knowing who we were, the staff here were super alert and helpful as if we were just regular shoppers(which technically we were)… they went over and over getting shoes for us until one fit my son who is the reason our organization exists… the guy helping never got frustrated at the 20+ pairs of shoes he had to keep going back and forth bringing out and was so so so nice to us… after our shopping was over I spoke to the manager and thanked her for their help then went on to say who we were and it’s really nice to see helpful people in a retail store that seem to want to be there rather than«have» to be there… she was super nice and the next day we saw them all volunteering at our Askate event in Erie… I’ve never had a bad experience at a Vans store, this one just stood out among the others across the country that I’ve visited… :)

Everyone is really friendly at this store, but Alex is exceptionally awesome. Friendly, helpful, funny, and very genuine. If you’re fortunate enough to have him help you, you won’t be disappointed.

Skaters rejoice again, the Cherry Creek Mall Vans Store is here! A much larger store with more fashion oriented ideas. I like the new tartan shoes and the clothing line in general seems well thought out in this store. The overall appearance of this store is easier to navigate than others, due to the size and the layout. I did not purchase anything today, but it’s good to know it’s here closer to home than any other Vans Store in the Metro area. Get your boarding gear here!
