Have been told by bartenders at other establishments that J. Lindsay’s is now closed. And it looks like their Facebook page says the same.( ) Leaving 3 stars here as I used to enjoy the place back in the day; cheap dive bar with music. RIP J. Lindsay’s!

My first review was taken down due to the«serious allegations» I made in it regarding the sobriety of the bartenders so I will not specify as to why they weren’t sober, only that they weren’t. Music was waaaaay too loud. Guests had to yell to hear one another. Bartender spent more time in the back room than behind the bar(including taking back a customer who was there for his birthday) resulting in extremely slow service. Stayed for one round and left. This was not my only time in the bar, seen similar situations on multiple occasions. Upsides, friendly service and cheap cold beer

Bartender is horrible I had to seek her out after 5 minutes of being there, she was in the back with her boyfriend, live music was loud and shitty then they played the jukebox on blast with 10 people in there. All around my impression is distasteful and this place requires a lot of work to staff and service before I would come back.

Beer is cheap. Bartenders are speedy and kind.(Really the only good things I can say… I really feel bad for the bartenders here.) Used to be my hole in the wall of choice, but quality has slowly declined. A good example of this would be; they recently replaced Miller Light Draft with Natty Light Draft… I think that sums it up well. The music is always LOUD, which would be fine if it wasn’t bad country or even worse hard rock of the late 90’s early 00’s. It’s not much fun to try to scream your conversations over«Toes» playing for the 3rd time on the jukebox. Might be for some, but no longer for us :(
