Just enjoyed an awesome Valentines Day Brunch with my wife. The setting was intimate with great«love songs» playing in the background from 70’s and 80’s. The buffet was extensive with something for everyone complimented by the Mimosa Bar with 5 different types of juices to mix with your bubbly. Service was the best! Planning to be back with the entire family on Mother’s day for bunch.

Had a delicious, beautiful, Sunday Valentine’s brunch. The cheese blitzes were absolutely delicious, as well as the chicken fried steak! They had a wonderful mimosa bar with five different juices to pick from. Everything was wonderful, including the service. Can’t wait to go back :)

NOTE: This review is for their happy hour We had a team outing for happy hour after work recently and ended up here. Ashley did an amazing job of keeping the drinks coming and made sure we had what we needed by checking in on us often. We only ordered off the appetizer menu, but the flatbreads were delicious. Hopefully this is an indication of the rest of the menu. I’m a customer service snob and the 5-star rating is primarily due to the exception service Ashley provided. I will definitely be back — with our without my coworkers. :)

Service as very mediocre as was the food. This is too bad because I have gone here about 3 years ago and it was really good. The service on 2÷3÷2016 was nowhere near what it used to be in the past. I made reservations for a special occasion and they did not even mention or cater to our event needs. Service was not bad, but it was not good either. For Black Bear diner, service would be great, for a fine dining establishment, service as sub-par. Wine was overpriced and was not very good for $ 100 a bottle and had a harsh finish(the 2 buck chuck type of bite at the end). The stuffed mushroom was over cooked and covered with what looked like cheap imitation cheese. The crab cakes were good as was the Cesar salad. The pear salad had old over ripen, or canned pears in it and the dressing was too sour. The Lobster bisque was OK and the clam chowder was bad. I really believe the clam chowder gave me food poisoning. This is because I’m the only one that ate the clam chowder and I felt ill about two hours after eating there, and then had it coming out at 1AM that night. No one else in our group got ill, so I was the unlucky one. As for the main course, I could not be more disappointed. We order the most expensive steaks on the menu and they were bland and flavorless. I really believe the served us the cheapest cut there is and did not ever bother to season the steaks at all. Within the last 16 months, I’ve had steaks from Morton’s, Flemings, Ruth Chris, Cattleman’s, and Texas Roadhouse and all were better steaks than this place. I can’t believe I paid so much money for the cheapest quality steak ever. They must have charged me for the premium signature steak, but served me a cheap flavorless cut, thinking I would not know the difference. Needless to say, we will not be going back anytime soon. Too bad, because I used to really like this place.

It has the prices of Morton’s or Flemings but the quality of black Angus or sizzler. I ordered off of the«Prime» menu which is theoretically the best steak. It was dog food. The bake potato was the highlight of the meal

This is by far my favorite steak house in the bay area. The service and food are outstanding and such a great place to go to for a special occasion or even a business dinner. I always seem to go in on Ashley’s shift, she is always very friendly and will always have excellent suggestions on what to order when feeling indecisive. She also makes a mean martini. I also just tried to Sunday Brunch and have finally found a better brunch buffet than Scott’s sea food! I also let the owner know that the Bartender, Samantha made me the best Manhattan I’ve had here in the bay area. Most bartenders go heavy on the Sweet red vermouth and hers was perfect! Can’t wait to take my friends here for Super Bowl Sunday Brunch!

the good– our server was very nice, good ambiance, great martini The bad– the food. The scallops were kinda rubbery and tasteless I think they must have been old. The trader joes halibut is better. The flat bread with tomatoes would have been good if the tomatoes were ripe but maybe that’s my fault for ordering a tomato based dish in January when they aren’t in season. This place has a lot of potential if they make some changes to the menu. I’d come back for martinis only.

Had a great dinner there with very attentive service. Started with classic wedge and veered from normal steak order which they specialize in on an everyday basis. Sea Bass special was terrific and cooked perfectly. Nice wine selection as well. Coming back to check out the prime rib and steaks.

So the initial experience I had at this place went very well. Although there was one minor problem, the owner took very good care of the situation. I am very happy with the outcome. He proved that he really does really on his costumers.

Had a New York strip which was quite fatty. The horseradish mashed potatoes, bread and veggies were excellent. Thought the wines by the glass were outrageous.

Had a company group dinner here hoping to have a great meal and drinks to celebrate a good year of work before everyone went off for their holiday celebrations, and ended up leaving extremely disappointed. The venue is a bit strange as you walk in, which seems like some sort of airport restaurant or lodge, and the seating in the back. It seems to have a character issue trying to be an upscale steak restaurant and a homie place and doesn’t nail it for either. In terms of food, this is definitely not a place for a quality steak. I know my steaks and ordered a filet, blue rare. The color looked a bit strange, as if the meat had been frozen and quick thawed right there. That theory was reinforced when the steak ended up being cold. Typically, it may be a LITTLE cooler but this was just cold. The texture was also off, so… definitely not the steak house it claims to be. I gave the benefit of the doubt since I ordered a very uncommon meat finish, but my feelings were reinforced when one of our execs ordered a rib-eye and the cut was definitely NOT a rib-eye. The restaurant claimed it was the correct cut, but if you know steak, this is not the case. The service was actually very nice and friendly and attentive to our group, which did help. But, the rest of the experience dragged it all the way down.

Great experience here for our work Christmas party. The lights were out for an hour due to a storm. Regardless of these circumstances the management overcame with creativity to make sure we had a great night. The service was beyond five stars. The food was good: steak was cooked to perfection, the lobster was just right, and the veggies were fresh and crisp. They also had great onion rings.

We made reservations for Christmas Eve at McNamara’s because it was close to home. We arrived at our reservation early and they were able to take us. Beautiful, cozy, romantic restaurant. We had Kaman as our waiter. He made recommendations from the wine, to the dinner and dessert. I have to said he was on point on every recommendation. We had a nice bottle of Pinot Noir, delicious Prime Rib with scampi prawns special. He also recommended the crème brûlée for dessert. His service was attentive without being annoying. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. We will definitely be back.

Very nice atmosphere! pretty good wine list for food paring, and the wine price is great! Service and food are better than many other commercial steak houses around here. Perfect place for dinner after golf next time !

A steakhouse that doesn’t do great steaks, a nice restaurant that looks like a hotel lobby, and an atmosphere that seems to care more about appearances than comfort. McNamara’s is a lot of things, none of which are thrilling. The ambiance is trying too hard on every level– hotel lobby meets ski Lodge. The food though. For the price(2 people, no booze, 1 soup add-on, $ 103) you’d expect, if not perfection, a reasonable quality. Both steaks were very tough. Cooked medium shouldn’t cause leathery meat. The Clam Chowder was good but had an odd meatiness that wasn’t bad but was strange. Generally I get better steaks at Tahoe Joe’s and a better everything at the nearby Brass Door. Both are better and way cheaper. If you want steak and want to spend money go to Benihana, you get a show too! McNamara’s wants to be a very classy Ruth’s Chris but really is a sad echo of the(far better) Hungry Hunter. Inauthentic, overpriced, and a massive disappointment.

Came here last night for dinner with my family. Ended up getting the 26 oz. McNamara’s rib eye chop(Medium). That was one of the best rib eye’s I’ve ever had. Highly recommended getting that with some crème brûlée if you have a sweet tooth like me!

There was a Meetup this past Saturday and we came a little early and decided to have dinner. Figured that let’s treat ourselves, bad mistake. Should’ve spent the $ 100 plus for dinner at another place. First the service, when we sat down we did not have dinnerware. The busboy came by and sat the bread in the center of the table. We ask for dinnerware and it took a few minutes till he came and literally dropped the dinnerware in front of us. For the price that we paid for dinner, you would expect the service would be tops but we figured Applebee’s was way better than this place. The place probably had maybe 10 tables so basically the place was empty. The food attendant seem busy but who knows. I recommend saving your money and enjoy your meal at another place that cares Overall the food was so so, but if the service was better if give more stars

It’s sad. It really is. Years ago when I first came here their steak was actually pretty darn good. Now… I have no clue what happened, but I would rather have steak from Cattlemen’s or Outback than go here anymore. Its dry, flavorless, and lacks any type of ingenuity. What’s worse, is that the restaurant itself is very nice with a nice ambiance and friendly staff. The food sucks the stars out of it though. This place has so much potential but is so far off from the mark because of their food. If this place had a decent steak I would come just for the ambiance and staff; otherwise, no thank you.

I enjoyed my meal(twins filets bernaise with dungeoness crab on top), the ambiance, and the lovely gentleman that offered us a free drink due to the wait. Our waiter was nice and timely with orders. I’m only rating it 3 stars because it is a steak house and I want to be fair with reviewing for those who are true steak connoisseurs! The steak was ok however could have been seasoned better. It was just a little bland for my taste but are it all. I enjoyed the sides of seasonal veggies and baked potatoes. I would still recommend as it is a nice surprise in Dublin and I would totally go back.
