We always enjoy our meal at Uno and tonight was no exception. We asked to sit in the bar, and the hostesses were hesitant and laughed about it, under their breath saying«they’re just going to have to deal with it». We offered to sit in the dining room but they said it wasn’t a problem — there were only 2 servers in the bar and they were complaining. We went ahead and were seated in the bar and the server came to our table right away — very pleasant, didn’t seem rushed — and took our drink order while we decided on dinner. She didn’t write down our orders, which always makes me a little anxious to see if they get it right. She got everything perfect. Our drinks were delivered without waiting too long, my salad came out before my food and I had just enough time to finish it before my meal came. It was the walnut and goat cheese side salad — loved it so much I’m trying to figure out how I can pick one up for lunch at work one day soon. After our meal we had some leftovers and our waitress got a box and some small containers and lids for the sauces, even provided some fresh pico de gallo. If the hostesses hadn’t made us aware that they were short handed in the bar, we wouldn’t have ever known.(Maybe that’s a good lesson for the hostesses.).

Every time I am in town(DUBLIN) I make it a priority to stop in here. I have eaten in and got carry out. Both were superb. I ordered from the 2 for $ 12 menu and the kids menu. The small deep dish and the large are virtually the same in taste and are terrific. I will continue to stop in whenever I bring my family thru.

Dined here a couple weeks ago. It was a quiet day. We order número uno deep dish pizza(a little disappointed… I really enjoyed this dish at the birch run location in Michigan when I tried it for the first time but it really didn’t taste good here at this location), chick spinoccoli(very delicious and I really liked the creamy pesto sauce with penne) and bread pudding with salty caramel sauce(pretty decent… you can’t practically go wrong with this dish). Service was fine, but our food was all pretty cold-especially the pizza…

Worst experience I have ever had with this chain. Sat at the bar The bartender was running around like they were very busy. at first I was the only one at the bar three more people came in later two left without being served she had a few tables. Waited constantly to be served and the appetizer boneless chicken bites was over cooked crispy chicken Parmesan was pretty good but again service was terrible. I watched several other people wait and some couples only ate appetizers and left I heard to him saying they changed their mind about eating. Before I was done eating she gave me my check said no rush did not ask about dessert or if I wanted more water or another drink. That made my decision easy to go elsewhere and watch the game and spend my money.

We were there on Thursday. Service was fine except we had to seat ourselves because the cashier was on the phone and no one else around. Waitress was helpful but the food needs a lot of help. Pizza was a let down to say the least. The turkey sandwich needed more meat and the rice was dry. New cook needed immediately!

I love pizza in general, but I really like having deep dish pizza. There’s something about the thick buttery crust that makes it taste so much better! Uno’s is a bit of a drive for me so I don’t get there too often. The service has always been top notch and the food has always been consistently good. I highly recommend their 9 grain crust. They finally brought back their spinocoli pizza — spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, garlic, several cheeses. I usually add chicken to the pizza to top it off. This time we also got the new shroom pizza which has spinach, garlic, mozzarella and grated romano and tons of marinated mushrooms. Both were cooked to perfection and brought out to us pretty quickly.

Went for some deep dish and it’s really just a thick pizza. Flew in from Arizona for business and my colleague took me here because he knows I’m a pizza freak. I’ve had, in Chicago, the real deal deep dish pizza you have to eat with a fork. We started with the nachos — which were huge and great tasting — and a couple of beers. I gotta remember what beer I had, it was good. Unfortunately these guys don’t carry ANY local beers. What’s up with that? When I travel I love to try local beer. Disappointment, but at least they had something other than the usual big players. Support your local breweries! Then came the«deep dish» personal sized pizzas. Again, it was more of a really thick pizza than the deep dish I was expecting, but that doesn’t take away from the fact it was still delicious. The place looks like an old Chicago style Pizzeria… I mean, according to the 3 I’ve been to. Nothing blew me away, per se, but I still give it 4-stars because this is a place I will definitely visit next time I’m out here. But, c’mon… local beer!

It has been years, probably decades, since I’ve been at an Uno. I happened to be near this one and stopped in. Not busy at 1pm on a weekday. It’s kind of like Applebee’s– restaurant with a bar, casual but would still work for a date or business lunch. Service was excellent, start to finish. There’s a fairly diverse menu and I had a hard time choosing, so I went with a «pick two.» I had a personal Chicago Classic pizza(sausage and cheese) and the chicken scampi pasta. Between the two I was stuffed, so I’m glad I got more than just a personal pizza. The pizza was fine– not nearly as good as what I’ve had in Chicago, but decent crust, plenty of cheese, good toppings. The pasta was good– an interesting spin on scampi, with spinach, tomatoes, and chicken on vermicelli. For $ 10, the pick two is a great deal. There’s enough variety, and portions are decent. But the rest of the menu scared me off– prices are high, and it’s not good enough to justify those prices. I doubt I’ll be back, since I’m not over this way much, and it’s a decent option but there are much better restaurants nearby.

Pizza size has decreased, sauce is no longer on top of the cheese, prices are outrageous. There’s better deep dish in Columbus.

My gf and I went into this restaurant tonight and had a great time. Our waitress Jennifer was fantastic, and gave us a lot of recommendations. The large menu took some time to navigate, but there’s something for everyone. We ended up getting 2 pizzas, and we’re very happy with them. The service was phenomenal. One of he managers(Justine I believe) stopped by to talk to us and gave us a little goodie bag since it was our first time there. Best experience we’ve had in awhile. I re-activated Unilocal just to make this review. We’ll be back soon!

As aChicago native this is like the Pizza Hut of Chicago Pizzas, it’s passable but not really a true representation of what Chicago pizza really is. Mostly pretty salty pizza in my opinion. If I’m craving the Deep Dish Chicago Pizza a frozen Gino’s East Pizza from Kroger or Meijer is 100x a better option

Had been many, many years since we have been to Uno’s. We each started with soup… Clam Chowder for my boyfriend and French Onion for me. They were both soooo scrumptious and very tasty. After soup was a deep dish with pep, mush, onions, and banana peppers with extra oragano to sprinkle. It was really good. Loved the chunk tomatoes in the sauce. Our waitress was fantastic and very attentive to us. The manager came around to see how we were doing. That right there makes the experience that much better. Good management + fantastic staff = very happy customers.

The Customer service is horrible. I Called ahead a small order for curb side carry out. When I arrived I waited 15 mins before having to call the restaurant to inform the staff of me waiting outside.

My husband and I stopped into Uno after a last minute shopping trip and we were very satisfied. The bar was relatively empty(around 10pm on a Saturday), so we sat there and spoke with the bartender about what to order for a few minutes. We ended up with one of the better deep dish pizza’s I’ve had in Columbus and a couple of OK beers. Not many local crafts, but it’s a chain restaurant and their selection was pretty good for a chain. The sauce was what got me, I love tomato chunks in my sauce, the cheese was great and the crust was perfect for me(not too crunchy, but not soggy either). We will be back, oh yes, we will be back!

The buffalo chicken quesadilla is what keeps us coming back to Uno’s year after year. It’s unique and delicious. We live close to the Tuttle Road location, and we love to stop in for half-price appetizers at the bar after 10PM. Uno’s lunch specials are great too. There is so much more than just pizzas, although you can’t go wrong with those either. My coworkers and I love to get the unlimited soup with our lunch selections. They usually have four big pots of different varieties of soup served buffet-style up front during lunchtime. If you work or live close, and you plan on coming back for lunch again, ask for a lunch club card. After so many punches, you get a free lunch. I can’t tell you how many of these cards I’ve gone through over the years. I also encourage regulars to sign up for Uno’s email list. They don’t fill your inbox with junk, but they do send a few emails each month informing you about new menu items, upcoming specials, kids nights, and the occasional coupon.

I’m always somewhat skeptical about getting deep dish outside of Chicago. I really love deep dish, and I’ve found that what so many places outside of Chicago refer to as deep dish is nowhere near being as good as the genuine article. That being said, Uno is authentic-ish. I mean, it tries, but it still doesn’t hit that magic spot that deep dish in Chicago hits. Nevertheless, I had a fairly enjoyable experience here. I was with a big group, and the servers were very attentive. We got our food in an appropriate amount of time, and it was tasty enough overall.

I remember coming here in 2003 or 2004 and I thought it was alright then but wanted to try it again. How this place has stayed in business for so long is a mystery to me. I wanted to get a large pepperoni pizza. I was informed by the man on the phone that they were having a buy one get one free deal and the total came to $ 18.99 I didn’t really want a second pizza but I got one anyways because it was free. Their idea of a large pizza is most places idea of a small. It was basically $ 9.50 for a small pizza. Rather than charging $ 10 or $ 11 for one then $ 9 or $ 8 for the next they basically force you to buy two or get ripped off. I’ve never seen a more overpriced pizza in my life. When it comes to the quality, they put basically no cheese on the pizza. Cheese isn’t the most important part of the pizza but I still think it needed more on. With deep dish pizza, you generally buy it because the crust /dough is good. This crust was pretty bad. It’s very rare that I pitch the crust on the pizza, but I did on this one. When it comes to the sauce, they didn’t grind the tomatoes completely so I got entire chunks of pizza in the sauce. I’m not sure if this was an issue with their sauce or if an employee made it wrong. I didn’t want tomatoes chunks on my pizza, if I did I would have asked for them.

Gosh another chain restaurant review. I blame my wife because she really wanted to go here for pizza. The first thing I have to mention is that the service was really bad. Our waiter was totally clueless about beer selection and had no idea what was on tap. He seemed genuinely shocked that anyone would want to order a beer with their pizza and repeatedly stated that he didn’t know much about what goes on «over there» while motioning to the bar. Hello, it’s your job. There are like 10 taps here. Memorize them or write them down. Since that was at the beginning of the dining experience it left a sour taste in my mouth the rest of the night. I did eventually get my beer, and the wife got her wine(after at first getting the wrong one and having to send it back) and we ordered our food. The food came out quickly enough for deep dish pizza and tasted pretty good. Still the ever-present waiter managed to not ask us for drink refills or really check on us much at all. It wasn’t a busy night either. We got the check, the prices were actually reasonable considering we had 2 drinks and also took home leftovers. I wished the pizza was cooked a little more because it was not piping hot, more of a warm temperature. So overall, not a great experience at Uno.

The restaurant itself is clean and the service is always good. Just not the biggest fan of their pizza. And it’s not because I don’t like deep dish– I do. I also tried their new thin crust pizza and that was also underwhelming. Sauce isn’t flavorful, and the cheese was flavorless. For $ 12, I think I’d rather have a large single topping from Papa John’s. So why do I keep going back to Uno’s? Because my boss loves it for some reason and takes the office out here every now and then.

After posting my review I was contacted by Uno’s Chicago Grill. They were quite friendly and apologized to me about my failed pizza dining experience. They offered to send me a coupon to try their single serve deep dish pizza again. I received the coupons to cover my lunch there and will be dining there again soon. I will get the single serving deep dish pizza and re-review that on here soon. I really appreciate it when businesses take the time and effort to try to rectify issues that reviewers mention. It goes a long ways in my book and shows that they really care about improving and retaining customers. Regardless of whether I like the single serve deep dish pizza on my return trip or not, I think Uno’s Chicago Grill deserves to go up a notch just for showing that they genuinely care about the customer.
