The absolute worst customer service I have experienced in a while!!! Went to go pick up an Apple Watch that was ordered for me, and they treated me as if I was some kind of criminal trying to complete credit card fraud and steal an Apple Watch. John the Assistant Manager was the absolute worst. VERY humiliating and embarrassing, keep in mind my name is a signer on the credit card. Not once did he offer to reach out to Best Buy credit services to confirm the information. Instead he kept questioning me as if I was lying and trying to follow through on a fraud transaction. All while employees were laughing at me and other customers were starring as if I was some kind of criminal. This was a very horrible experience. I WILL NEVER SHOP OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SHOP AT THIS BEST BUY LOCATION!!!

In need of a new computer ended up here after seeing what I wanted advertised on line. Best Buy would have been given one star had I not met Mira.
Walking in was in search of two things a 32″ t.v. for the bedroom and a new laptop after wandering around for 45 minutes with no offer of help was ready to leave. The terrible reviews for service weren’t wrong.
Irritated was finally ready to sack shopping for the day then met Mira and after a couple of questions she was mine for the next two hours. She went above and beyond answering question’s, offering information and trying to meet my list of demands for a new computer. No AMD, I3 or better, Windows 10, a DVD player, must have Touch Screen ability’s and under a certain price point.
Seems easy right, wrong and after testing out a few comparing the color of screens, sound quality (important) and how the computer was able to perform went with the Lenovo Envy 15. Sometimes in order to get what you want you have to compromise so I gave up the dvd player for now.
Best Buy will price match your purchase for 15 days «good to know» and was able to put to use before even leaving the store and saved an additional $ 50.00.
Printers at the time of computer purchase can be discounted $ 20 – 30.00, if already on sale you get one or the other. The printer of interest/​purchased was in a poor box and is being shipped to the apartment for free within 2 – 4 business days. The printer arrived in such a poorly packed box the company had to be called and a new one shipped for fear of it being damaged or broken. See photo.
Now we all need a little help with our computers sometimes, what happens if you make a mistake and drop or spill something on it? Geek Squad is available for fixing those nasty viruses or cleaning up that mess you made $ 69.99 for a year $ 129.99 for two GEEK Me Please.
The BB credit card is available for those who want it if approved there will be a $ 59.00 fee, after approval found the interest rate was «25% ha ha um no keep it.»
Good luck shopping here, do your homework and if you are lucky enough to get Mira as your sales person you will find she is friendly, personable and very patient BB is lucky to have her.

Ehhhh. That’s all I could say about this location, but I will elaborate a bit more.
I been to this store maybe about 5 times. And each time I can’t not find anything I’m looking for. How can you not have more than 3 brands of HDMI’s cables, and 2 brands of optical cables… And you call your store and «electronic store».
The store is pretty big but selection is poor. Also I wanted to point out that the store need to be more organized since there is all kind of stuff everywhere. The open box item section is a mess (cheapens the store). I guess this will be my last time at this particular location. I should of listen to my fellow helpers about this store u see their reviews haha.
I hope they do some major cleaning/​organizing/​and staff training in order to get back a lot of the lost clients this store may have.

I purchased a gift for my wife online and it was shipped to this store. It was easy to go and pickup — there wasn’t a long line and the folks there were helpful. Easy transaction — thanks!

Not once but twice, called the store to ensure an items was available. First person put me on hold for 15 minutes. Second try, I got no one for 10 minutes, the phone just kept ringing. Third try, I get someone who said was going to transfer me to the «right» department, nothing. Ended up going to Snelville. Worst customer service (at least phone) ever!!!

Ugh this place is awful. Avoid shopping here for major electronics at all cost. There was no one to help us on the floor. Finally when someone came she had no idea what she was talking about.
Upon picking up the item the next day at the store no one knew where it was located. When we asked for our salesperson they insisted no one by that name worked there. A complete show. Never again.

This place is the worst of all best buys. They need to work on there racial profiling skills. A black security guard that wears the yellow shirt was non stop checking on black customers bags. And on top of that Asians and black never got asked if they needed any help. Sick of this place, can’t wait till they bankrupt.

«The BAD»
I don’t know why I come to this store anymore. Service is AWFUL! You can walk around for hours before any representative even acknowledges you. Well, security at the door speaks but that’s about it. This was my 4^th or 5^th time coming here experiencing this. I love technology; especially electronics so it is hard to resist, but i was fed up this time. I’m leaving here to write a 1 star review on Unilocal I thought.

Then Jennifer walked by me and asked if I needed help finding anything. Actually Jennifer I do and thank you for asking. Thank you for not looking away in another direction when you can feel I have a question like 90% of the associates here. I don’t really see how big box stores are staying in business. TV’s would be my guess. It is is hard to purchase those without visually being in front of it first.
«THE BEST»
Jennifer was doing inventory. She had a basket putting away items, stocking shelves. She does not even sell but saw her brother in need (we are all God’s children). I explained my story. I purchased a Bluetooth cassette tape at the Best Buy Buckhead Store. First time I had ever seen such an item and I loved it! Apparently all of my friends did too because it was highly requested and I gave it to one of them. I had been frequenting that store and other locations like this trying to find it again, with no luck. Yes, they have the wired (string attached) cassettes but I don’t want that. Where is the Bluetooth that chimes, «do do doop» when it connects to your phone or other media device?
She walked me to the areas where it would be if they had it and of course it was not there. Jennifer took the next step. She walked me to the CPU to check to see if they carry it at all anymore. I pulled up a picture of it from my Instagram account (follow me @writewellg). Shameless plug (shrugs shoulders). Found it! It was on their website and then Jennifer found it locally at several other stores. Since she was not in sales, she took me directly to a group of salespeople just standing around talking like old friends… doing nothing basically while I walked around aimlessly trying to find one item… long sigh!!!
I forget the guys name but he took over from there. He was friendly about it. I thing it’s Admit (sp). He took my order, found my rewards #, and shipped it directly to my house. How lovely. Now that is service! That is what I wanted. That is what I needed. Good service. Keep me from coming back to find the same item over and over again and eventually giving up on you and going somewhere else to spend my money. Versus keep me coming back to buy all of my items because your just that good. Since I had so much trouble find this little booger I bought 2. I received them and now I am back to jamming «bluetoothlessly» in my car (Sigh of relieve and excitement). I told Admit (sp) I was going to write that 1 Star Review but he and Jennifer totally changed my perception. A huge thanks to both of them!

Well, we stopped by this Best Buy today searching for a movie that just came out. We had stopped at a Best Buy in Snellville before that said they had the movie and they did not.
We called here after leaving the last store. Their website said they had the movie in stock but I don’t trust their website so we decided to call. We were on hold for 12 minutes, and we had almost arrived at the location so we just hung up. I’m not really sure why it took 12 minutes to look a movie up but whatever I guess.
They didn’t have the movie, so don’t ever trust their website. The sales associate was nice enough to look but he said earlier that someone was looking for the same movie and their inventory said they had two but they could not find them. It honestly seemed unorganized in the store. All the new release movie racks were empty.

This location is simply terrible. The store has little to no product stocked and the floor is usually filthy. I asked a sales rep a question and had another one about ten minutes later bc he directed me to the wrong product from my original question and when he saw me again he gave me a nasty look and then said «so are you going to need anything else before i walk away again or is this it?» Wow. Hey guy, if you don’t like answering customers questions when they are purchasing 200 $ items and need clarity then don’t work on the floor at a best buy. In the end i bought the wrong thing anyways bc of his terrible direction and had to return it to a much nicer location at the Mall of GA.

They don’t do very much to help fix computer problems. I’ve replaced two laptops within less than two months. Only one of the pack was kinda nice at best. Smh.

Can I get some help over here, bro? The Direct TV guy has tried to help me more than the store associates. This is pitiful.

I visited this Best Buy store because I was picking up an iPad that I ordered from the Mall of GA location. The process and service at that location was great. This location however kept me waiting for nearly thirty minutes when there was only one person in line in front of me. Once I was helped it became evident why it was taking so long in the first place. It seemed disorganized and the person helping me seem to be distracted. Once I finally received my order it had a sticker stuck to the plastic with my name and a bar code and an obnoxious highlight mark. The iPad was a gift and I was unable to remove the sticker without removing the plastic seal around the box.
Needless to say I am very disappointed with the entire experience excluding the initial order. I was left with a tough decision: do I remove the sticker which would then break the seal on the gift or do I leave the horrible looking sticker with my name on it and give it as a gift that way?
If a store employee or an executive is reading this, I recommend that you tell your employees to not put packing slip stickers on ipad packaging.
I am going to attempt to resolve this with an employee. I will update my review if I have success.

This place is a shit show. Gosh every time I freaking come here, I have to pray, meditate and watch a few Dalai Lama «patience is a virtue» videos.
They have hired everyone and their momma, yet nobody to assist you! I swear on chocolate, I know the layout of this store because I circle around it. At one point I got so frustrated, I ran up to a employee and yelled Please for the love of god helppppppp meeee! I’m a damsel in distress!

I recently purchased an iMac online and selected store pick-​up. To purchase this item I used my BestBuy credit card which has not arrived in the mail. But, it is an option (I did ask). I went to the counter to pick up my $ 1,200 computer and the employee refused to release the iMac because I had a Government Temporary License.
I was perplexed to the stupidity I was hearing. Then, I requested to cancel my order, which THEY PROCEEDED TO DO. Why would you not release my product but proceed to cancel an order upon MY REQUEST. According to the MANAGER my license could not validate my identity. The manager then proceeded to explain that this specific BestBuy store is subjected to a lot of identity theft. You mean to tell me that people hack into BestBuy’s system to find out what orders have been placed, produce fake confirmation emails, and fake identities to claim these products? Not so smart!!!
Lastly, this store is VERY run down.

Would it kill them to answer their phones? Seriously! Try calling them and seeing how long it takes to get them to answer. I’ll save you some time: it ain’t gonna happen. Once you get in the store, the people are helpful and nice.

This used to be the go to store for electronic devices and much more. Now the store is not as well stocked due to the online world. Micro Center or Fry’s have become the stores I visit now.

Had to visit a Best Buy when I visited Georgia. Came in looking for a deal on Open Boxed TVs for a little house warming gift for my sister. But they seem to sell those quick. Met a few guys in the Home Theater department. There was a guy that works there that lived in San Diego. He helped me through the entire interaction. Very happy with the service here. Everyone is really friendly. Ended up buying a new samsung plasma and apple tv with wall bracket and power kit. Found out they call shopping carts… buggies…
Must go? Yes
Go again? Only if I need something.

I adore Best Buy but the customer service and organization here is appalling. Initially, we waited more than 20 minutes to purchase an I Pad. There was a disorganization of the line, and an employee had told us they had our I Pad at the check out so we can purchase it (the check out in electronics). Ummm… not so much. When we finally got through with the line, our I Pad wasn’t there and we had to repeat the process. After waiting around at an additional 10+ minutes, they finally got our I Pad and we had to wait again to pay for it (in the same line)…bam, another 20 minutes.
Main point = 50 minutes+ to purchase an I Pad is outrageous and we will not be returning to this location.
PS, while I understand it is around Christmas time with last minute shoppers and all, the least they could do is be fully staffed and understand organization is key. Just my two cents.

I have to admit that I bought my very first laptop at one of Best Buy’s major competitors at the time, Circuit City. However, since Circuit City closed in 2009, Best Buy has been my go-​to «offline» electronics store, primarily whenever I’m shopping for a new laptop.
Recently, my siblings and I went to this Best Buy on Pleasant Hill to purchase a very nice belated birthday/​graduation gift — a laptop — for my baby brother who just started college today! Good luck, bro!!! (GOSH, I feel old…) Being the most «experienced» laptop buyer in the family, I told my brother to check out Best Buy’s website, research various laptops, and read their reviews. When he was down to a list of his top five favorites under $ 700, we went into this Best Buy on the recent tax-​free Friday.
Since my brother had done his research ahead of time and I gave him additional tips on what to look for when reading the reviews and laptop specs, we didn’t need much assistance from a Best Buy employee. However, one friendly employee in particular, Chris, told us that he completely understood that we were prepared and knew what we wanted, but that he would be there in case we had any questions.
To make a long story «short,» Best Buy was having a promotion for college students: a free Xbox 360 with the purchase of any Windows laptop that cost at least $ 699. Since my brother didn’t know his college email address yet, Chris helped my younger sister (also in college) register her information and «.edu» email address with Best Buy. When they were done, Chris printed out the coupon we needed to get the free Xbox 360 with our laptop purchase. This was pretty sweet and unexpected, and my brother was ecstatic that he was basically getting TWO gifts for the price of one! =)
When we were ready to pay for the HP laptop (with Beats by Dr. Dre® audio!) my brother ultimately chose, Chris handed us a piece of paper with the information we needed to take to the pick-​up area. The employees there were super strict and told us to «wait behind the white line» for our turn to get the laptop. I guess it’s a «super secure» area since it’s where they have all of their laptops in stock. It took about 10 minutes or so for them to find the laptop. Then, when we were finally at the register to pay, the cashier had difficulty figuring out how to make the purchase tax-​free. It turned out it was mainly because they had given us the WRONG laptop. However, it was because Chris had written two different models on the piece of paper and forgot to circle the one we had picked. Oops. Although it took much longer than it should have to get the right laptop and check out, it was worth it in the end because it was totally tax-​free!!! WOOHOOO! =D
Overall, this Best Buy gets 4 stars for their (generally) friendly employees (especially Chris!) and good selection of laptops in stock. I thought we got a pretty great deal on the laptop we bought, especially considering we got an Xbox 360 along with it. Hopefully it won’t take away too much of his time from studying, but my brother will likely be on either his laptop or Xbox 360 whenever I come home from work. I’m glad he enjoys his gifts, and we will definitely come back to this Best Buy whenever we need help from the Geek Squad since we bought the 1 year of tech support for his laptop plus two other computers for $ 99. (We need to get our desktop computer fixed!)
