One of the best phở places in Georgia, I was visiting from CA, and this was one of the best phở places I’ve ever been too. Good quality chicken and they load your soup up with noodles and meat. Definitely not a rip off, for like $ 8 you can get a large bowl and it is huge

Bad service. I ordered 3 phở and the waiter who serve me didn’t seem like he doesn’t wanna work there. After ordering phở, I wanted to order more stuff and he looks frustrated and looked at me like«what else you want lady?». He actually gave me that look. Not coming back. Service gotta be number one to be a good restaurant.

This place was super good I am a person who loves brothy noodle soup in big bowls — I will eat it anywhere and anyplace. I have my phở favorites and was anxious about betraying my phở loyalties. However, this place was great. I got the B4(Rare flank, Well done Brisket), LARGE. It was amazing … good broth, large portions and great garnish. I highly recommend this place.

Had the Beef B1 soup. Mine was medium sized — I couldn’t imagine being hungry enough to finish off a large bowl. Medium was a lot of food! Beef was very tasty. Watch those jalapeños… Those babies are hot!

I have been coming here for years. They definitely know me as one of their long time patrons and for good reason. Their food is fantastic, always fresh and ridiculously delicious. Very tasty and best thing about good Vietnamese, it’s much healthier than your typical American style Chinese food and soooo much better. Oh and I can’t forget to mention the portion size, which is crazy big! I’m completely addicted to their stir-frys! If you haven’t been to this little hole-in-a-wall gem, check them out now! Makes a great date location too if your partner enjoys a break from the common chain restaurants.

An excellent choice for lunch– still can’t believe the high quality, delicious food and fast, efficient service we received for such a reasonable cost. Just over $ 20 for two and that included an entrée. Try it and you too may wonder«What The Phở took me so long» to discover this small Vietnamese gem.

Came here was was greeted by a very friendly business owner. After being disappointed they did not have Banh Mi I went with I went with spring rolls, so my review is only for the spring rolls only will be back to try more. I was in a rush for something quick and healthy and got the shrimp spring roll and it was delicious. Liked the flavor and taste of the peanut sauce(which is not healthy, but tastes good lol) will be back soon to explore the menu more.

We still like this place and we have a Phở shop on every corner of our Duluth neighborhood. This family appreciates your business. Food is steaming hot and delicious. Price is more than reasonable. Service is very attentive. Yesterday I got the pork bun with the eggroll. So yummy. Use the fish sauce, some hot sauce and some hoisin sauce, Do NOT smell the fish sauce if you are American. Stuff does taste great. Husband gets the Phở with shrimp, steamed onions, and steamed bean sprouts. Soup is very hot. Read my previous reviews for more details. Come to Duluth and try this place for an interesting eating experience.

What The Phở? Is a small restaurant inn’s plaza that has a bakery and a couple other cafés and restaurants. Let me just say for all the non Asians out there. Don’t EXPECT5 star service, your there for the food. I found that out quickly xD. When we entered, we were greeted with one man at the counter and he pointed to the general seating area. We sat down and waited 5 minutes before they have us our menu. My advice, know what food your ordering, they don’t like it when you take forever to decide. I forget the Vietnamese name for it but it was phở with rare steak and thinly sliced beef. I horns small bowl for around $ 6 and I couldn’t even finish it xD. Our server was very nice to us and explained to my grandmother about the different types of phở and the condiments. Overall *Service is a hit or miss *food is EXCELLENT *interior is nothing special but cozy *prices are affordable

The name’s great, but the food is just aite. Pleasant Hill/Duluth has a pretty large Asian community, so there is a lot of competition among phở restaurants. When I visited at night, the establishment was dimly lit; I kinda wish the lighting was a little brighter. I ordered myself a medium bowl of phở, which arrived promptly. Everything met my expectations, except the broth. It was just… bland. Normally I eat phở like a purist, just the broth and some veggies added in. However, this time around I had to drown the bowl with srirachia and fish sauce. The service was great and the food was standard, so I might check back again to try another bowl.

This used to be my go-to Phở place but now that Pleasant Hill has more Phở options, this isn’t my no. 1 anymore. My favorite meals are always Phở with rare steak or meatballs, bun with chargrilled pork, spring rolls, and avocado smoothies. The phở broth was pretty bland and while the portions were plentiful, I felt like it was just another«meh soup.» Their bun is fresh but the pork isn’t the most flavorful. Mine was actually a little TOO charred on the ends so it lent a burned taste during a few bites. The spring rolls were ok. My avocado smoothie was a bit on the icy side, but still good. I always get a smoothie because their water tastes straight from the tap. Overall, it’s decent. Service is very quick and it’s an easily accessible location right off Pleasant Hill. The name definitely caught my attention and the waiters speak decent English so I never mind bringing other friends here.

What caught our attention was the name of the restaurant. For one is Phở, can’t say no to Phở and 2 it was funny/catchy. We both got B1 which was the beef phở with meatballs, tribe and sliced beef. I liked how they priced any type of phở with the size of the bowl. The prices weren’t bad at all for the taste and portion. We also got fried rice for our little boy. He loved it. He also loved the sophisticated black chop sticks they provided. I gave it 3 stars because of the service. Our waiter didn’t refill our beverages and he didn’t come check on us till we needed a to go box for the fried rice.(Which took bout 10 min for them to notice) There wasn’t many people in there so it wasn’t busy. Also, when we called around 8:30 pm for hours of operation, they told us 10:45. I know they told us 10:45 because they close at 11& didn’t want us coming after that time…(We went on a Saturday) We only called because I saw another review saying that person went in at 10:30 thinking they closed at 12. It won’t be the first place I’d go to when I come back to ATL but I’ll probably go again to try another dish and maybe get better service. Maybe.

We were actually driving to another restaurant when«What the Phở» caught my eye. I thought the name was cute and I always like phở, so we decided to give it a chance. The service was really fast, but the food was only okay. I kind of wish we would have stuck with our original destination. What I tried: L1. Avocado Smoothie($ 3) A3. Pork & Shrimp Fried Egg Rolls($ 3.50) C7. Hu Tieu Hai San($ 8.50) — Rice noodle soup with shrimp, squid, & fish meatballs B1. Phở Dac Biet($ 6.75 for small) — slices of rare steak, well done brisket, beef meatballs, tendon, and tripe The avocado smoothie tasted okay, but I didn’t like it enough to finish it. The egg rolls weren’t amazing, but tasted pretty good after being drenched in the fish sauce they were served with. I ordered the Hu Tieu Hai San. I liked the broth, but I didn’t like the shrimp, squid, or fish meatballs in it, and I normally love seafood. I tried the broth from the Phở Dac Biet, and thought it tasted fine. Their«small» phở is pretty big, and a pretty good deal at only $ 6.75.

The phở hits the spot. I visited on a day when I had a sore throat, and the hot, spicy(because I added jalapeños) was just what the doctor ordered. The small was a perfect size for me, and the price was right. Quick seating and service. I’m sure we will be back!

The phở here is GOOD! I ordered the B1(I think), it comes with meatballs & steak, tripe. Portions are generous. Restaurant is small, but not cramped. It’s quiet enough to hold a convo & clean. I WILL be returning in the near future!

This phở broth is legit delicious just like my favorite place of all time Phở Dai Loi. This is the first place that my phở was kept piping hot throughout the meal. Their prices are better, A lot of noodles, Cooler name! This is now my go to phở place! Keep up the great restaurant! I wish to see them carry smokey hot oil and culantro(not to be mistaken for cilantro) you’d be the best of the best for me if you carry these! :)

I’m now a fan of this place. Came here in the morning with friends looking for a good Vietnamese place to eat. The restaurant scenery is nostalgic and the seatings were comfortable booths. The servers were helpful with the menu. I order the«com tam suon» which is grilled pork over broken rice. The fish sauce tasted great, whoever made the fish sauce should win the nobel prize. I received two grilled pork for $ 8, now other places would only serve one grilled pork for the same price. The pork was tender, grilled, juicy, and good to eat. It was so much food, for a small price, I had to get a to-go box. I came here on a different night their phở is actually comparable with Phở Dai Loi. It was authentic beef broth loaded with lots of meat and noodle. I had a great time dining here twice and i will come here again.

Well after hearing so much talk about phở, I was finally dragged along to What the Phở with my friends. It’s a small place, but clean with good service as we were immediately sat when we walked in. When I agreed to go to What the Phở, I went thinking there would be a vegetarian Phở dish, but I was wrong. They had vegetarian dishes, but not vegetarian phở. I ended up getting the vegetarian spring rolls as an app and the sautéed tofu and vegetables with crispy egg noodles. First of all if you really like tofu, then this is the place for you… however if you do not like tofu a lot… like myself. Then you should ask for no tofu in the noodle dish and just say no to the spring roll. Now the problem with the spring roll isn’t the giant piece of tofu inside… it’s the complete and utter lack of seasoning in the entire roll… Even the peanut sauce didn’t help. It was just bland and there’s nothing more I cannot stomach than a giant piece of tofu is a giant piece of bland tofu. But the entire roll was bland including the rice noodles. I thought salt would help, but it didn’t… I only ate one roll, because 2 came with an order. The sautéed tofu and vegetable dish was okay. I ended up picking all the tofu out the dish, but only after I tried a piece and still found the tofu to be super bland, even though it was in a sauce on the dish. But other than that the vegetables were cooked well, the sauce was tasty, the egg noodles were crispy to start out with, but the longer they sat in the sauce they became soft, so I tried to eat more of them crispy. Overall… I can only describe my experience as okay… Good service, decent food, bland tofu… So will I be back, maybe… But it won’t be to eat any tofu.

I think this place is the best noodle bowl spot for right now. Until I find another spot or someone recommend another place to me, I will remain loyal to «WHATTHEPHO» on Pleasant Hill Drive. Today I’m trying a new hot bowl which is menu item B1 the PHODACBIET. A combination of slices of rare steak, well done Brisket, Tendons, Tripe and Beef Meatball. Thanks to some fellow UnilocalERS and there pics. I chose this menu item. So far soooooo gooood !!!

What the Phở indeed! Now that I know the correct pronunciation sounds like«fuh», the name of this restaurant humors me even more. THESCENE Today I was determined to break my phở virginity and set out to search for the best bowl I could find in short driving distance of my home. Although I trust Unilocal,I trust Unilocalers I know personally even more, so as I was in route I sent out messages to some of my most trusted Unilocal friends. Almost all of them mentioned this restaurant as a first choice in this area, so my decision was simple. The restaurant was easy to find via the huge letters they use for their signage. Inside the décor was a little different than I expected, but not offensive. Reminded me more of a old dance club than an Asian restaurant. Greeted instantly and seated almost immediately, I quickly began to look over the menu and(with a little guidance from other patrons and staff) I ordered the Phở #B2 w/meatballs added. Here’s what I thought: THEFOOD * Tai Bo Vien Phở($ 6.50) | 3.5 Stars I went basic, but as first experiences go, I thought it was very tasty. It gave me a little thrill attempting to use the chopsticks. I got lucky on my first bite, but I just couldn’t get it right after that. So I put them away and requested a fork, hoping no one saw my chopstick fail. * Fried Wontons($ 5) | 4 Stars A delicious change of pace. These were an unexpected delight. * Crispy Spring Rolls($ 3.50) | 4.5 Stars I loved them. I loved them so much I ordered more to-go. Filled with deliciously seasoned pork meat and one large shrimp where oddly the tail end of the shrimp stuck out from inside the perfectly cooked crispy eggroll skin. Looks a little weird but go with it. FINALTHOUGHTS Solid experience. The small phở bowl was more than enough for me, but right next to me was a guy who ordered a large bowl… which would better be described as a sink or baby’s bathing tub. I enjoyed my meal very much and would recommend coming here if you are looking for a nice casual experience in Vietnamese cuisine.
