How does a dollar store exceed expectations? I guess if they had iPods, that would probably put them over the edge. There was a surprising amount of stuff for sale here that I pay a lot more for at Kroger, Target, Walmart, etc. You might struggle if you have an extensive list of needs, but there’s a a good variety with some pleasant surprises. Friendly staff, clean appearance.

I kinda get depressed every time I come into this store. Maybe I’m used to nicer dollar stores, but it’s been dark, cramped, musty-​smelling, and dirty every time I’ve come in here. The store’s floor is cluttered with bits of paper, plastic packaging, various merchandise, etc. and it’s impossible to maneuver around the various standalone displays clustered near the door. They also need to buy a vacuum and do a bit of hoovering in the aisles, because the messiness is a definite turnoff for potential shoppers.
While I am all about finding a good deal, they need to work harder to maintain the appearance and layout of this store.
