Slowest drive through I’ve ever been to. Been here for 10 min and haven’t moved a single car

I don’t eat fast food very often, and even more rarely at Hardee’s although, I have been to this one a few times over the years and went inside. It’s ok, typical Hardee’s.
Going through the drive-​through during the RTP lunch rush hour, as I did today was a big mistake however. First off the line of cars was fairly long waiting in line and not moving fast. It took a while for me to even get up to the ordering spot in the drive through and when I did I had to repeat several things to the order taker (I think their speaker was malfunctioning). I finally made it up to the drive-​through counter, gave the girl my money, got my drink and waited for the rest of my order (5 piece chicken tenders and fries). I waited and waited, and the girl didn’t even tell me why it was taking so long, or ask me to pull into a parking space to wait for my food. By this time cars behind me were honking (like it was my fault or something). I finally got the order and rushed home, as I needed to meet someone. Opened the bag, and no sauce! (They had asked me what kind of sauce I wanted when I ordered). The tenders weren’t very good either. I think they had cooked too long.
Next time skipping Hardee’s and going to Chick-​fil-​et for my chicken tender fix!

Yes, I am giving Hardee’s four stars. I’ve been to this location in Research Triangle Park a handful of times. I’m not usually a fast food connoisseur, but in the instances when I’ve needed some «fast food» I’ve dropped by this one. This Hardee’s is not the fastest, but they’re service is very good. I’ve never eaten in, although I’ve been in to pick up a to-​go order when their drive-​thru line is very long.
When I usually go there I get a hot dog and a coke. The coke is always just fine and they always get my plain hot dog with ketchup and mustard just right and don’t corrupt it with any chili or onions. On the one occasion I went inside to place my to-​go order they took a little bit longer and compensated me with an apple pie.
Today was a quick drive-​thru visit. And I’m not kidding when I say the kid who works that drive-​thru is THE best. Most of the time, I’m pretty sure it’s this kid named Julian. He’s got the biggest smile and is so friendly. If my mood was the slightest bit sour I cannot help, but pull away with a big grin on my face. So very kind and helpful, not to mention great manners with «yes ma’am,» «can I help you with anything else,» and «Have a wonderful day.» It and he never fails.
Very friendly service even if they’re not the fastest fast food spot around and always being friendly is something to be said for in this time when there are many dreary faces around.

Where is the good old Hardee’s! I think Carls’ Jr. is just a dive place everywhere you go. It is like they take over nice fast food restaurants and just decide to add dirt, bad service, and whatever else they can throw in to make the brand of Carl’s to the ghetto of all fast food places. I sure wish the Hardees would have been back. Disgusting place.

For fast food, it’s pretty tasteless as far as the burgers are thrown together. The fries are not very good either. I’m guessing if I need to stop for fast food, this is not the place for me. On the positive side, the service is rather quick and friendly.

This is the best Hardee’s I’ve eaten at in the Raleigh/​Durham area, and I’ve been to several. I will actually drive 8 miles just to go to this Hardee’s instead of going to my local McDonalds or Wendy’s. (I did that today.) The place is clean unlike several other Hardee’s. The bathroom isn’t perfect but it’s clean enough and not completey shocking. It just looks a little worn and in need of some upgrading. The staff are very polite, especially compared to a few other Hardee’s I’ve been to. When they take your order and bring out your food they act like they really appreciate your business.
