Although food is good, service not so. It feels like you have to after your server to order. But I’d come back for the good food though!

There’s so many places in the Region for breakfast, it’s hard to pick out the best. I consistently have a great meal every time I go to Jelly’s. They have SO many different types of pancakes and waffles(everything from apple to oreo). I’m an egg person and usually get the omelette some of which are 4 egg and big enough to share. My favorite thing about Jelly is the make your own Bloody Marys. You get to pick out the type of vodka, veggies, meats, and extras such as celery salt or Tabasco. My favorite is the Effen Cucumber vodka will tons of veggies and pepperoni, shrimp, and bacon. It’s essentially a meal in itself.

Solid breakfast place with cocktails. Don’t have to wait too long. Coffee is a bit weak for my tastes

Not a good place to eat. Server was rude and was even ruder when I told her I didn’t like the crepes. They were greasy and filled with too much filling. The visit was horrible and we will never go back.

There are a few really good options for breakfast in the Dyer area, and Jelly is the best in my opinion. There is plenty of parking shared with the shops in their area, and the expanded seating section means you have a little room to breathe. I’ve never waited for a table long even during the busy post-church rush. Service has been predictably spot on. You have a dedicated server, but everyone will run food so there’s no cold eggs if your server is tied up at another table. Busy bus boys turn tables over quickly and water/coffee is refilled frequently. I’ve only had breakfast here and I’ve never been disappointed. Eggs and bacon are basically the same everywhere you go, so I recommend trying one of the specials or the gluten free pancakes. For real, I don’t understand how they get the GF batter so fluffy and thick. Try one of the toppings on it! The banana foster topping was so good I skipped the syrup. If that’s not your thing, they rotate homemade jellies that they bring out with your toast and pancakes. The piña colada one is fantastic as is the apple pie. Fall in love with that carrot cake jelly? You can take home a jar when you pay your check at the register. My only real complaint is they have a tendency to over-cheese. I know, some of you think that’s impossible. It doesn’t take away from the quality of this place. Total win!

Jelly in after is great breakfast spot. The only complaint I had is the spinach and feta omelette… they put the whole baby spinach leaves in there instead of chopping them. The red velvet tench French toast is amazing! You only need one slice. They have fresh squeezed OJ, but tell them add ice, it’s warm. The potatoes, yummy! Beats hash browns

This is my second or third time here and the service was great. The banana walnut pancakes were amazing and the Bellini was tastier than I expected.

One word… AMAZING ! went to the first location and after sitting and waiting we found that we kept discussing Jelly’s restaurant so we got up and left and went right to Jelly’s. So glad that we did ! The service and the food was so good.

Amazing food for both breakfast and lunch! A little bit more expensive than most breakfast/lunch places, but worth it. Great service every time.

Mediocre breakfast and brunch location. I suppose they are known for their pancakes but I had an omelette. It was good, not great, but satisfying. The potatoes that were served with my omelette had some kind of all spice seasoning on them that was different — I can’t decide if I really liked potatoes. not my cup of tea for breakfast I suppose.

I give this place a «meh», on a scale of «Ughhhh» to «Huzzah!». The service is fairly nonchalant about the fact that you’re choosing their establishment to eat. They seem like they could take or leave the fact that you are there. The food is just«okay». I had bacon, eggs, and potatoes and it was fairly bland and unremarkable. The person I was with had a chicken pita that was really dry and lacked any kind of sauce or anything. Given the unremarkable nature of, well, everything the menu is somewhat pricey. Try Benedict’s across the street, you’ll be happier.

First off I have to give a separate 5 stars to their fresh squeezed orange juice! It’s so good and seriously one of the reasons I always what to come here for breakfast. $ 3.50 a glass but totally worth it(sign up for their text club and get a free glass!) The food is always good. I usually get pancakes and bacon which is simple but very good. My husband is in love with the chicken and waffles and get it every time we go there. We even tried the jelly last time we went there even though we didn’t have toast and it is EXCELLENT! We bought two hard to take home. The coffee is meh… the servers are great at keeping it coming but it’s just not that good. The only other thing I can say is I never get a good table in this restaurant! I wish they would figure out a better set up on the patio so I don’t have to sit in the middle of all the tables(I swear I always end up in the center table with trays whizzing past my head)…when I go out to breakfast I like a nice, cozy table away from children but I alway end up right in the middle. We went on Mother’s Day weekend and they were super busy(which is totally understandable) but the table they gave us was so awful that we ended up moving(after sitting there for 15 mins with a cup of coffee with no cream, sugar or a spoon and a carafe of water with no glasses)…hint-don’t put a table next to the Bloody Mary bar so you have servers butts in your face and a mess next to you… I never ask to move but when a server walked up(which I thought was to take our order) and instead picked up our drink menu to see what was in a drink she was making) I about had it. I asked to move and the hostess was very snotty about it(but we ended up on the patio of course). Let me say though this was my only bad experience at Jelly in Dyer. Good food, good service(the girls are very nice but the bussers can be a little more quiet when cleaning dishes off tables)…we really like Jelly and we will be back!

This place is pretty good. Nothing spectacular in terms of food, but good service and a solid breakfast. Their coffee is good and hot and they came around frequently even today, on a very busy day-before-mother’s-day Saturday morning. They have a number system for waiting. There’s not really any place to sit inside though if it is rainy and cold outside and very crowded. I did like the system they had, though. You get a number and they have a bright red digital sign on the wall, so if you don’t hear your number, you can look up on the wall to see who they’re seating now. It’s pretty efficient. My booth seat was a little dirty, but the waitress was friendly and promptly wiped it down. It was totally excusable. They were packed! This is a good place to bring small children to as well. BOOTHS… Booths are great for kids as are the highchairs they provide, not to mention the paper and crayons. The bathrooms are clean and roomy. Portions seemed perfect to me. Prices are great. Something they could improve on is the freshness of the food. The vegetables in my veggie omelet were limp and sad. They didn’t taste fresh at all, and maybe were previously frozen then cooked? It was alright, though. Good hashbrowns. They were very accommodating to my dairy allergy as well. I’d go back, but I’d rather be at The Scrambled. ;)

As I’m always looking for a place to get a breakfast/brunchy kind of meal, I’ve heard and seen this place but have never stopped. I finally had an opportunity recently to stop and am glad I did. I got there and noticed a very cozy atmosphere. There were others there dining, but it wasn’t overly crowded. I ordered a gypsy skillet which came with pancakes. The coffee was with free refills so it all made for a great brunch. I’ll gladly come back here as the food is good and isn’t overly expensive.

Always great food and service, my coffee is always full, and servers are on top of everything. Orange juice is fresh. We are now dedicated to here, especially since there are lots of tables where there is little to no wait when we come on the weekends for breakfast.

I’m not much of a breakfast person… but this place is EVERYTHING! I’ve never been disappointed here. The red velvet french toast is my favorite. So yummy! And the freshly squeezed orange juice is wonderful. This place gets me excited to wake up on a Sunday morning!

Just a average guy review… The waitress was awesome and the people associate with the restaurant are very inviting. The food on the other hand was not to the level of the service at Jelly’s. I ordered a stack of buttermilk pancakes with blueberry toppling as well as sausage links. A very basic order but the topping was missing till the waitress brought it to the table but honestly that’s just being a complete jerk if that was the only thing. From the first bite the pancakes was just too dry. The topping I thought might help but it tasted as though it came from a can. Plus Running a knife through the stack had a crumbling moment not one layer stayed in place and the pancake could have been used as sprinkles on a desert.

I went to Jelly Pancake House for brunch on New Years Day with a few friends, and I was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant itself is very spacious with lots of seating. Even though it was crowded, we did not have to wait very long to be seated. If you do find yourself waiting, there is a bench to sit on, as well as a full bar with plenty of stools to sit on around it. They have a nice variety of seasonal mixed drinks(a few«adult» hot chocolates, apple ciders, and irish coffee), as well as a build-your-own margarita menu(you can choose all ingredients, even what vodka to use!). I only had a coffee, and their coffee was very good! All of their breakfast entrees come with sides(potatoes, pancakes, toast), and you have the option of ordering multi-grain pancakes or gluten-free sweet potato pancakes instead of buttermilk. It is well worth the trip out and you certainly get a good«bang for your buck!» My friend ordered the hobo skillet, and absolutely loved it. Another ordered the french toast, and he finished his plate as well. I had eggs and multi-grain pancakes. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the pancakes were fluffy and easy to cut with a fork(qualities I expect in my pancakes). I have been recommending Jelly Pancake House since my first visit, and I am looking forward to returning in the near future.
