When it come to phô it’s all about the broth. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years now and I can say that I’ve never had a terrible meal. It’s my go-to spot on the way back home as I pass through the Annapolis area. I always get the bún, pad thai or the phô and I’m never disappointed.

Wow, just excellent. Very rich flavors with excellent service. What made it such an unusual experience was the server suggesting ways to combine items the way one would do in his country. Put some soup on the rice and combine proteins from two dishes, for example. I cannot wait to go back.

My coworkers and I go here a lot. The phở is good, but the grilled pork chop is amazing! Though, have to limit it bc it’s a lot of food that hits the sleepyness after going back to work… Even combined with their new coffee drink or Thai tea, a once in a while treat Service is always wonderful and warm. Many wonderful memories and sad goodbyes there with my amazing coworkers. It’s a very special lunch spot to me :)

Best Vietnamese food in the Annapolis area hands down! The phở is out of sight good. On top of that, the service and friendliness of the staff is in a league of it’s on. I highly highly recommend this place.

I had high hopes, given the Unilocal reviews… The food was okay. Fairly mediocre phở served lukewarm. A little sad about it. The servers were nice though!

The food is just so nice, the setting quiet and the location central but hidden. I haven’t been here in a while, But on a cool cloudy day a nice steaming bowl of Phở is just right. Enjoyed the Banh Xeo, aka Vietnamese pancake. They didn’t provide instruction on how to eat it, so you don’t know you might ask. Large portions and great price. On the down side, this place operates short one or 2 of staff at all times. Dining in can be a huge frustration and if your short on time forget it. Your best bet with Saigon Palace is carry-out.

Food is great. Wait time is terrifying. I went there twice for lunch, ending up having to wait for at least 45 minutes twice. If you are in the mood for good food and waiting is not an issue for you, this is the place. A little pricey as well.

Mmmm. Saigon Palace. The broth here is PIPING hot, which is extremely important when it comes to Phở. The service(my favorite is the dude with the pony tail) is always fast and efficient and the Vietnamese noodle soup is just downright delicious. You receive an ample amount of sprouts, basil, jalapeño and limes. The crispy spring rolls go hard AF. I highly recommend the House Noodle Soup(#31) for an amazing treat. Be sure to finish it off with a fork to collect the goodies hidden at the bottom. We will continue to come back again and again.

My husband and I have made it our life’s work to seek out the best phở place in Maryland. We’ve been sadly disappointed by many in the past but Saigon palace was not one of them. Although the crispy spring rolls were smaller than usual they were tasty and the perfect treat before our phở arrived. Our phở arrived large, fresh, and piping hot. The broth was delicious with an adequate amount of veggies and meat. We each ordered a boba tea which was the best I’ve had by far. The avocado was smooth, creamy, sweet and delicious. The only reason for not receiving 5 stars is that the bathrooms were lacking. The women’s room was old, rundown and appeared to have not been cleaned in sometime. The décor was similar to most other phở places and not anything to write home about.(Although I did appreciate seeing the football games on vs cnn news which seems to be on in every other phở place we’ve tried). The service was friendly and very casual which for lunch was just fine. We will absolutely be back!

Went there with 3 friends and all of our dishes were delicious. Portion sizes are large. I’m pretty sure this is the only noodle place in our area and we’ll certainly return anyway.

This place is the real deal for authentic Vietnamese cooking. It’s not fancy, but it’s all you need when you’re looking for some properly prepared Asian food. I’ve been dissapointed so many times by other so-called Vietnamese restaurants in this area that try to do too many things and nothing ends up tasting like it should. This place only does Vietnamese and they do it extremely well. I got the squid salad and the vegetarian summer rolls and loved them both, but everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked on point. I also love that they have all of the sauces in bottles on the table, including Sriracha and fish sauce. For an added bonus, everyone who works here is super friendly.

Went for lunch/dinner(Linner?) with my son and daughter. We ordered the grilled pork bahn mi, seafood phở and crispy calamari. The pork was delicious but the bread was crunchy and flaky and there was just too much of it. The ratio of bread to meat was definitely off but I guess that what you get for $ 5.50. The crispy calamari was good and they gave us a good portion of it. For only $ 6.50 this dish was a good deal. The seafood phở was very good abd easily enough for 2 meals. I ate half at the restaurant and just added more shrimp when I got home so my husband could eat the other half. The service was friendly and I definitely think they care about their customers but the food was slow considering we were the only ones in there. Took about 15 minutes to get the calamari and another 10 – 15 minutes to get the meals even though I ordered everything at the same time. *shrugs* I’d go again, maybe the kitchen will be quicker the next time.

Five stars for their phở noodle soups and boba drink! Very recommended for their tasty broths. We ordered some spring rolls and they were fresh and tasty too filled with the noodles, lettuce, basil, thin slice of pork and shrimp. The grilled shrimp and papaya salad was the best. Thin julienned papaya tossed with a vinaigrette with a hint of fish sauce and citrus had a lot of flavor and was very refreshing. They also have banh mi sandwhiches and traditional rice dishes as well that I can’t wait to try. One tip is that keep in mind it is a family run restaurant and the we came in at the peak dinner time hour and the food did take a little longer than the chains but keep in mind the food is fresh and worth it, just order an appetizer or two like we did and you’ll be fine.

Love this place, my wife and i come here regularly from upper marlboro because the owners are extremely friendly and the food is great. Whether it’s phở, banh mi or tasty vermicelli bowls the flavors are bold and you come out full but still refreshed and light.

The phở is on point! And if your looking for something a little different the vermicelli noodle bowls are also amazing. Service is always pleasant and quick. Gone back many times and I am never disappointed!

A great vietnamese place, the best in the Annapolis area, and one of the best in Maryland. I recommend the appetizer sampler. It is a lot of food, but so worth it. I also think that the papaya salad is awesome. Sometimes they pit too many onions in, so I recommend telling them to hold the onions. But the sauce is perfection for it. I always order one of the rice vermicelli dishes. The combo is good. I always leave feeling stuffed and happy. Take your time to enjoy this wonderful place, it is worth it!

Best phở in the greater Annapolis area. Generous servings at a great price, too. Their takeout service is excellent, which I find to be a rare quality! They always get the orders correct and don’t skimp on sides or toppings. Restaurant is plain. The paintings are all quite different and kinda funny for that reason. You’ll see :) Service is prompt.

Great place: no fancy atmosphere or high-brow servers– just good food! The spring and summer rolls are tasty and filling, abit on the dry side, but use the tasty sauce they provide to moisten them up. The Phở soups are the real McCoy with large servings, and I’m sure pretty healthy for you. There’s a large variety of flavors you can choose from, so query the server the difference between them and decide accordingly. If you’re looking more for a stir-fry, try the Shaky Beef– it’s tenderness is to die for! I’ve never had bad service here– the waiters and waitresses have always been pleasant, patient, and are really on the ball without being stuffy. If you’re looking for Vietnamese food in its prime with very reasonable prices, look no further than Saigon Palace!
