I always prefer to have food from Asian Chao whenever I visit Menlo park mall. I order a 2 entrée course consisting of noodles, fried rice and tofu. The tofu is very soft. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is hot and fresh. They give large quantities. Enough for lunch just for 7.00 $.

I was utterly appalled that I was charged extra for brown rice. They had signs all over stating it was available and no where did it say it was extra. The cashier pointed to a sign that showed «Brown Rice Available» and the extra charge was written small so it was not visible to most. They should keep in mind that it’s cheaper to retain a customer than it is to acquire a new one. I will not be patronizing this establishment again.
