Last Saturday night, couple of my friends came here late night, it was quite crowded. The food was amazing, nice and Korean hot tofu soup, we also loved their pork bulgogi. We did not know this place opens such late. We loved it!, because after midnight, there were no place open at that time. That’s one of the reasons I gave 5 stars for this place.
Also, there was only one guy was serving, he was pretty busy and trying to serve nicely for everyone. I wish the owner put another server at least during the busy time. But, that guy handled the pressure very good. He was very professional and nice looking guy. He also seems speak fantastic English, I’ve never seen anyone talk in such a higher level in especially Asian restaurants. As far as I know, most Asian restaurants have servers who cannot speak English properly.

They still have the BCD menu when you order, which was just fine with us. Our favorite soondooboo has always been from the BCD chain no matter where we have lived — East coast or West coast. We enjoy the soondooboo at the BCD in the H-​Mart food court, but it’s nice to have a restaurant option. Kong Tofu House is pretty small and gets crowded during the lunch hour, though.
There was only one waitress working, so yes, service was slow and kind of rude. That’s why I can’t give a full five stars. But the food is really good and worth the visit. Not only is their soonooboo excellent, their grilled meats are delicious, too. The spicy pork bulgogi combo is an especially good deal — generous portion.
Soooo, in a nutshell, be prepared for a possible wait and slow service, but the food is solid.

Oh no, plz don’t come to this tofu house.
It obviously this restaurant doesn’t has enough staff. We wait 10 mins to be seated, and same as order and checkout. I hate this restaurant so much.

A «Spin-​Off» of the old BCD tofu restaurant chain. Kong Tofu is slowly transitioning from the BCD menu to their own. Check out their website for new menu items.
Delicious, fresh, authentic Korean cuisine made with fresh ingredients. Their specialties are the Soon Tofu soups. We had the fried Yellow Corvina combination and the Beef & Octopus Soondubu.
Very kind and impressive wait staff. We were able to sit near the kitchen during one of their weekend rushes. A serving cart was near the stove so all meals are hot out of the kitchen along with a fabulous variety of Banchan.
We will be back soon!
They also have locations in H-​Mart (near the Alderwood Mall) and in the University District.
